Learning foreign languages in general and English in particular, we should first understand this:

1. Language is not words written. So the first thing we need to listen to listening to understand and co. Time is to say some very popular and simple.

- You have to practice how to reach the skills that foreigners say we can understand, that is, to know the pronunciation, accent or the goals necessary in the sentence, so we can understand. and hear.

2.Language is also a set of habits:

- It is necessary to train, imitate, and memorize the dialogue in the book, and at the same time to read aloud the sample sentences until a mechanical response is generated. Our brains are as elite as we are speaking our mother tongue. Conditions to learn a foreign language conveniently: To learn English well, we need the following:

a / Audio tape - movies (if any), many books for reference

(1.) Tape Listen:

- Choose the correct, clear, and good voice tapes. Do not think the tape is the same. If possible you should listen, filter before buying.

- There is a slow sound tape, there is a fast listening tape. You should also "get acquainted" with both types of tapes. The first time you listen to the tape slowly, once you get used to it already, listen to the tape quickly. How, when you hear, understand is good.

(2) Movies: Firstly, to make it easy to understand, choose the English film rolls of small, simple stories with many common words to help you understand. Gradually you will use films with more complex vocabulary.

(3) Reference books: There are quite a few books to provide for English learning. You should be cautious in choosing books. - Find the books written by any author. Know what you buy, what you need. Needless to say, but not all books that teach English as buying, of any author does not need to distill. There are some practitioners, as every street in the street meets an English-language book of purchase, anyone's. There are books they have not read once. So, sir, that turned out to be too wasteful in the right place. You should filter when buying books written in foreign languages, to request that book will benefit you.

b / Lesson: need to learn vocabulary in parallel with the sample sentences. To become fluent in English you can not lack these requirements to learn vocabulary in parallel with the sample sentence. In other words: in the sample sentence there is a vocabulary. And so to understand the sentence, you have to belong to the previous vocabulary.

c / How long does it take to study English? If you rarely have time during the day, you can cut back on your English training. But every day you have to have time to study continuously. If one day you forgot to study, the English language in your head would not be that sensitive. Learning English is like a car that needs grease every day, otherwise it becomes rusty and difficult to start. For this reason, some teachers teach foreign language more tired than other subjects when imparting knowledge to students, but it is very beneficial for teachers by teaching methods, the majority of lectures The students have reviewed their knowledge of foreign languages.

2. How to learn English effectively:

Nowadays, English is an international language, and most young people are learning this language with the hope of being able to communicate with people on over the world. English has become a compulsory subject at most schools, and a lot of people go to foreign language teaching centers to improve their skills. Learning English is not just limited in memorizing vocabulary and grammar, but it is also a process of training and improving listening, speaking, reading, and writing skill. We should focus on these four elements, because each skill will have the necessary content to complement the other three. We improve our speaking skill if we can listen to and understand what people say; and if we can master our vocabulary and grammar, we can write and read easily. Apart from spending the time to practice, we also need to be creative in learning English. Textbooks at schools and English-teaching centers are just basic steps, so we need to be proactive in finding more resources. There are a lot of movies, music and books written in English nowadays, and we can learn a lot from them. In short, learning English is a long process, but it will be easier if we can find the right and effective ways to learn.

What school are you in?

/ wʌt skul ɑr ju ɪn /

Which school are you in?

/ wɪʧ skul ɑr ju ɪn /

What school do you attend?

/ wʌt skul du ju əˈtɛnd /

What school do you go to?

/ wʌt skul du ju goʊ tu /

Do you think your college is a good school?

duː juː θɪŋk jɔː ˈkɒlɪʤ ɪz ə gʊd skuːl /

Did you enjoy going to high school?

/ dɪd ju ɛnˈʤɔɪ ˈgoʊɪŋ tu haɪ skul /

How many students does your school have? (Trường bạn có bao nhiêu học sinh?)

/ haʊ ˈmɛni ˈstudənts dʌz jʊər skul hæv /

What do you remember about your teachers?

/ wʌt du ju rɪˈmɛmbər əˈbaʊt jʊər ˈtiʧərz /

Who is your favorite teacher?

/ hu ɪz jʊər ˈfeɪvərɪt ˈtiʧər /

Do you have any teachers you don’t ?

What do you study? (Bạn học về cái gì/lĩnh vực gì/chuyên ngành nào?)

/ wʌt du ju ˈstʌdi /

What is your major? (Chuyên ngành của bạn là gì?)

/ wʌt ɪz jʊər ˈmeɪʤər /

What are you majoring in? (Bạn đang theo học chuyên ngành gì?)

/ wʌt ɑr ju ˈmeɪʤərɪŋ ɪn /

What did you major in at university?

/ wʌt dɪd ju ˈmeɪʤər ɪn æt ˌjunəˈvɜrsəti /

Why did you choose the major you did? (Vì sao bạn lại lựa chọn chuyên ngành đó?)

/ waɪ dɪd ju ʧuz ðə ˈmeɪʤər ju dɪd /

What subjects are you good at? (Bạn học giỏi những môn học nào?)

/ wʌt ˈsʌbʤɪkts ɑr ju gʊd æt /

What subjects were you bad at? (Bạn học kém những môn học nào?)

/ wʌt ˈsʌbʤɪkts wɜr ju bæd æt /

What is your favorite class?

/ wʌt ɪz jʊər ˈfeɪvərɪt klæs /

What is your favorite subject?

/ wʌt ɪz jʊər ˈfeɪvərɪt ˈsʌbʤɪkt /

Why do you it? (Vì sao bạn thích môn học đó?)

/ waɪ du ju laɪk ɪt /

Do you study any foreign language in school?

/ du ju ˈstʌdi ˈɛni ˈfɔrən ˈlæŋgwəʤ ɪn skul /

What classes do you need to take? (Bạn phải học những môn nào/tham gia những lớp học nào thế?)

/ wʌt ˈklæsəz du ju nid tu teɪk /

Do you paripate in any extracurricular activities at university? (Bạn có tham gia hoạt động ngoại khóa nào ở trường đại học không?)

/ du ju pɑrˈtɪsəˌpeɪt ɪn ˈɛni ˌɛkstrəkəˈrɪkjələr ækˈtɪvətiz æt ˌjunəˈvɜrsəti /

Do you feel that it is harder to study at university than in high school? (Bạn có cảm thấy việc học ở đại học khó hơn ở cấp 3 không?)

/ du ju fil ðæt ɪt ɪz ˈhɑrdər tu ˈstʌdi æt ˌjunəˈvɜrsəti ðæn ɪn haɪ skul /

Do you to study in small classes or big classes?

/ du ju laɪk tu ˈstʌdi ɪn smɔl ˈklæsəz ɔr bɪg ˈklæsəz /

Are you living in the university’s dormitory?

/ ɑr ju ˈlɪvɪŋ ɪn ðə ˌjunəˈvɜrsətiz ˈdɔrməˌtɔri /

How is your life in the dormitory?

Have you ever stayed up all night for finals? (Bạn đã bao giờ thức cả đêm để học ôn thi cuối kì chưa?)

/ hæv ju ˈɛvər steɪd ʌp ɔl naɪt fɔr ˈfaɪnəlz /

Do you prefer study with other students or study alone?

Have you ever skipped class? (Bạn có trốn học bao giờ không?)

/ hæv ju ˈɛvər skɪpt klæs /

Do you usually walk to school?

/ du ju ˈjuʒəwəli wɔk tu skul /

What kind of clothes do you often wear to school?

/ wʌt kaɪnd ʌv kloʊðz du ju ˈɔfən wɛr tu skul /

Have you ever considered studying abroad? (Bạn có bao giờ cân nhắc tới chuyện đi du học chưa?)

/ hæv ju ˈɛvər kənˈsɪdərd ˈstʌdiɪŋ əˈbrɔd /

Over time we live and develop, each of us will choose a unique habit. My friends have a habit of playing games on the weekends. Personally, I have a habit of reading in my free time every day.  This habit of mine is formed from the shape of my hobby. Since childhood I have enjoyed reading. The types of books that I often read are books about life, manners, and economics. Ever since I could read, I have always enjoyed reading. However, when I was a kid, the kind of books I read were usually comic books. Currently, studying time is quite busy so I don’t have a fixed time for reading. However, whenever I have time I will read. I usually carry a book that I am half-reading in my bag. This ensures I can read ns anywhere and at any suitable time. I think the habit of reading has helped me improve myself a lot. In the future I will keep this useful habit. If you are free, you can practice reading habits like me.

about me

My favourite subject in school is English. It is quite easy and pleasant to study it. English is used in each field of life and it is useful to know it.

Most of web sides are in English. It is nice to be able to use such a sides like yahoo, msn and english Wikipedia. I can get a lot of information and news, which are not available on polish sides.

I can use english books and magazines. Sometimes I like to download e-books and magazines in pdf. It is effectively way to study English in home. Using English I can communicate with many peoples. I can use Skype and ICQ to talk and chat and get new contacts. I can use many applications and play games. I have used Windows XP and Office for two months and it was quite easy. Most of movies are in English. I like to watch them without subtitles. If I can I always switch the polish dubbing off ? I hate it.

The last advantage to know English is I can talk with all people talking English. This holidays when I was in Gdańsk somebody asked all people: ?Do you speak English?? Everybody talked ?No? and ?Nie wiem o co chodzi.?. When she came to me and asked the question ?Do you speak English?? I could say ?Yes, how can I help you?? She told ?How can I get to the bus station?? I told ?Can you see this building? The station is behind it. Please go this way?. She smiled to me and walked away. I was happy that I could help.

As you can see English is useful in life. All of us study it in everyday situations and activities. The language is quite simple and logic. I use it all the time. This is why I like English and it is my favourite subject in school

Topic 3 : Nói về môn học yêu thích

I like many subjects at school because they bring me a wide range of useful knowledge. However, the one I like best is Chemistry. I'm a curious person, and this characteristic usually poses me a number of questions that cannot be clearly explained. In Chemistry class, I find it easier to understand and have a chance to explore more phenomena in real life, resulting in the desire for following this subject. Therefore, I love Chemistry.

Tham khảo nhé bạn: - Outline ( Dàn ý )

English is so widely spoken, it has often been referred to as a "global language". it can bring people closer ... it can make business and negotiations easier... it can help you communicate with people of all cultures across the globe.English is very important for us to master because it is really necessary for our future job and our life everyday. There is no way to improve something without practising it. Most of Vietnamese students study English at school, but they can not improve it much, because they don't use them in their every day life. And now, some experiences to learn English will be shared with you. Do follow and I think they may be very effective. English skills can divide into 4 parts: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Now, let’s go into speaking skill first.

 Speaking

 At first, you should speak slowly but don’t mispronounce. To express your ideas more effectively, you can combine with your gesture and acts. Through this way, learning English will be easier because you can use all your five senses.
 If possible, use a tape-recorder to record your voice. Then hear again to adjust.
 Practise your speaking skill at home, at school and everywhere if possible
• At home, if nobody can speak English with you, stand in front of your mirror and speak with yourself. You may have many difficulties at first and you often think that there’s nothing to talk but if you try, it will become your habit gradually.
• At school, you can invite your friends to speak together at time break. start with easy sentences such as “What’s your name?” or “What’s your favorite food?”. Then go to more difficult one. And expressing your ideas is not easy, is it? For example, you want to say that “Yesterday, my father picked me up”. But you don’t know how to speak English, you can use both English and Vietnamese “Yesterday, my father đón me”. It may seem ridiculous but I have tried many times. And its effect, there’s no need for further argument. In a short time, I not only improve my speaking skill but also broaden my vocabulary. Because if you don’t know any words, you can look up your dictionary right away and if necessary, asking your English teacher for help is the best way.
 Listen tapes as much as possible to imitate native people’s intonation.
Here are some useful ways you can try. Finally, I want to say that speaking English fluently won’t be too hard for you if you try to practice .

 Listening

 The best advice is “ listen, listen and listen”. Start with simple levels, try to hear and then write all things you have heard. You don’t need to hear every word in a passage or a conversation. The most first important thing is you can understand what they are speaking. If your listening skill is better, you can go to more difficult levels. Many sources can support you such as English songs, tapes, TV, Internet,….
Vietnamese students may very good at reading and writing skill. But I want to share you some experiences I have.

 Reading

 When reading, you will see many new words. Don’t use your dictionary, guess their meaning and continue your reading. When you finish, it’s time for you to check them.
 Try to answer questions below every reading part or try to find the topic and the main idea of each passage you read.
 Improving your vocabulary is really important not only for your reading skill but also for other skills.
 Find stories, essays,…on Internet or on newspapers, magazines in English and read as much as possible. By this way, you not only read better but also save your money to buy books.
