Put the verbs into the more suitable form, present perfect simple or continuous.

1. Look! Somebody __is breaking___ (break) that window.

2. You look tired, _Have you worked_ (you/ work) hard ?

3. " _Have you ever worked__(you/ ever/ work) in a factory?" "No, never".

4. "Jane is away on holiday". "Oh, is she ? Where _is she going?__ (she / go)?

5. My brother is an actor. He __has appeared_ (appear) in several films.

6. "Sorry I'm late". " That all right. I __haven't waited__(not/ wait) long.

7. " It is still raining?" "No, it _has stopped_(stop)."

1, i..read.(read) this book for two days, but i .haven't finished.(not/finish) it yet. 2, I ...read.(read) the book you lent me, so you can have it back.

I think it must be like this :>

1, i..have been reading.(read) this book for two days, but i .haven't finished..(not/finish) it yet.

3 Do you seeing - are looking - Do you recognise - seem - is coming

4 are you doing - are waiting - are getting - wanted - is being - don't know

Fill in the gaps with the present simple or present continuous form of the verbs. 

1. Alex: Why (you / wear) are you wearing my coat?

Ben: Oh, I'm sorry. It (look) looks   like mine in this light. 

2. Carl: I (have)have no idea what this sentence (mean) means. Can you translate it?

Donna: No, sorry. I don't understand it either. 

3. Eddie: Do you see those men near the door? They are looking at us very strangely.

Fergus: Yes. You're right. Do you recognize them from anywhere?

Eddie: No, but they certainly seemed to know us. They are coming across to speak to us. 

4. Gina: What are you doing in the kitchen? Our guests are waiting for their dessert, and you are getting in my wag.

Hamid: I just want to be somewhere quiet for a while. Everyone is so noisy this evening and I don't know why — it's very unusual.
