\(=\dfrac{2x^4+2x^3-2x^2-3x^3-3x^2+3x+4x^2+4x-4}{x^2+x-1}\)

=2x^2-3x+4

b: \(=\dfrac{y}{x\left(2x-y\right)}+\dfrac{4x}{y\left(y-2x\right)}\)

\(=\dfrac{y^2-4x^2}{xy\left(2x-y\right)}=\dfrac{-\left(2x-y\right)\left(2x+y\right)}{xy\left(2x-y\right)}=\dfrac{-2x-y}{xy}\)

⇔ \(x^2=25\)

⇔ \(x=\pm5\)

 ⇔ \(x^2-4x+4-25x^2+20x-4=0\)

⇔ \(16x-24x^2=0\)

⇔ \(8x\left(2-3x\right)=0\)

= (x³y - y) + (x - 1)

= y(x³ - 1) + (x - 1)

= y(x - 1)(x² + x + 1) + (x - 1)

= (x - 1)[y(x² + x + 1) + 1]

= (x - 1)(x²y + xy + y + 1)

b) x²(x - 2) + 4(2 - x)

= x²(x - 2) - 4(x - 2)

= (x - 2)(x² - 4)

= (x - 2)(x - 2)(x + 2)

= (x - 2)²(x + 2)

c) x³ - x² - 20x

= x(x² - x - 20)

= x(x² + 4x - 5x - 20)
