My favorite movie is cartoon “Tom and Jerry”. Tom is a cat with blue and white color. He keeps the house for a normal family and has a very free life. His job is chasing Jerry day by day. Jerry is a brown house mouse. He usually lives in the deep cave behind the wall. Although they hate each other so much and always find ways to hurt opponent but when Tom or Jerry falls into really dangerous situations, then both become another savior. The film is an endless confrontation between Tom and Jerry, bring plenty of laughter for the audiences. I love this film because when I watch it I feel very glad, feeling like returned to childhood.

Tet is the most well-known holiday in Vietnam. It is celebrated all over the country. It mostly goes on for 3 days: 1st, 2nd and 3rd of January - Lunar Calendar.
Before Tet, people who work far away from home go back to join their family for the holiday. People clean up their houses, decorate it with Mai and Dao blossom, as well as other bonsais.

On Tet holiday, people cook feasts with various dishes to show dedication to their ancestors. A dish of 5 different kinds of fruit is also put on the altar as a tradition.

People go to relatives' and friends' places to wish them good luck, prosperity and health. Children are always excited since they will get their "salary" - lucky money in the red envelope on this occasion.

Tet is the oppoturnity for everyone to gather with their family, to rest after a long hard-working year, to refresh and prepare for a brand new year of greatness and happiness.

I would like to talk about the Lunar New Year festival, also known as the Tet holiday, which is the occasion expected the most by Vietnamese people every year. The festival usually lasts for around 3-4 days, and it takes place when a new year comes according to the lunar calendar.

– The Lunar New Year festival takes place because it is one of the most well-known traditions of Vietnam. Our people have been celebrating this occasion for thousands of years, and although there has been some recent argument about whether we should stop celebrating this festival, I do not think this activity will come to an end soon, at least not in the short term.

– There are some common things that people do during this festival. Perhaps the most important thing is that people who work and study in big cities would go back to their hometown to celebrate the new year with their families and relatives. The new year festival is one of very few occasions that families can gather together, so it is easy to understand why everyone in Vietnam expects this festival so much. Another thing that we usually do is that we give children some “lucky money” with the hope that it will bring fortune to those kids. We also have some other activities such as making “chung” cake, visiting temples and pagodas… and so on.

– The new year festival is so important to me and also to all Vietnamese citizens. The reason is because we get more days off from work and study, and therefore we have more time to spend with our families and our loved ones. It is also a great time to think about what we have done in the previous year, and to make plans for the upcoming year.

Harry Potter is one of my favourite movies. I have loved it since it was held in the theatre years ago. Based on the best seller fiction written by JK.Rowling, the movie makes it real. This movie was about Harry Potter, he is a wizard born in the dark days of the wizardry world. His parents died in the hand of Voldemort, the dark lord. During his journey, he experienced a lot: happiness, sadness, live and death moments, etc. At last, he finally beat Voldermort and became a great auror his parents. This movie taught me many things. He discovers that an ancient stone in the museum makes everything come alive at night! One night, three bad men break into the museum to steal the stone. Larry and his new friends have to save the museum. I love everything about the film, but my favourite scene is when Larry meets the tiny cowboy and some tiny Roman people. there are many excellent films but I like mr bean most. It is a comedy. It is produced in America. It is showed on VTV3 at 7p.m every day. The main character is Mr Bean. It is directed by David Caplo. I find the film funny. Critics say: it is a must-see. After watching film I feel very comfortable. It helps me entertain anh relax. Its plot is about a comedian. He is awful. He always breaks everything in his house. He is also stupid.I like the film vey much because it helps me relax.

The book that I love most is “Hachiko - the waiting dog”. The book tells the story of the famous dog named Hachiko and friendship with his owner – professor Eisaburo. Hachiko lives with the professor’s family in Tokyo. Everyday, in the morning, Hachiko followed professor Eisaburo to the gas station when hecommuted to work. And every afternoon, at 5 pm, no matter how sunny or rainy it was, the dog came to the gas station to wait for the professor comming back home. The way from home to the station and from the station to home was Hachiko’s the happiest time. Professor Eisaburo always confessed with Hachiko, talked and played with him. They had been together for a long time before a tragedy came up. As every day, Hachiko was waited for the professor coming back. But the professor had passed away because of astroke when he was presenting on the stage. Not being discouraged, Hachiko still waited for the professorthe following days regardless of any kind of weather. Once the professor’s wife sent him to the countryside far away from Tokyo, but Hachiko tried to escape and backed in the station to continue waiting until he died. This was a touching story and made me cry many times. I kept the book carefully and read again when I meet difficulties on school. The book helps me release stress and depression. Thanks to the book, I can learn a precious lesson.
