4) She wasn't at home when I phoned, but I could contact her at the office

5) I looked very carefully and I could see a figure in the distance 

6) I used to be able to stand on my head but I can't do it now

7) They didn't have any tomatoes in the first shop I went to, but I couldn't get some in the next shop

8) My grandmother loved music. She could play the piano very well

1) Amanda is friendlier than Sue (as)

=> Sue is not as friendly as Amanada.

3) He’s very busy, so he can’t talk to you now(too)

=> He is too busy to talk to you now.

4) He can’t drive because he’s very young ( old) 

 => He is not old enough to drive.

5) Steve isn’t as patient as Tony (more)

-> Tony is more patient than Steve.
