MOTHER TERESA

Mother Teresa of Calcutta has often been described as a saint. She devoted her whole life to charity work, looking after the poor and the sick. Mother Teresa was born in 1910 in what is now Macedonia. From the age of 12, she said she knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to helping people.
