My dream home would be on the ocean, well not on the ocean but beside it with a white sandy beach. The house would be an A frame backed against a hill. The upper floor would be a half floor master bedroom with a kingsize water bed and ensuite with a hot tub and sauna. The front wall would be glass with a stairway coming up to the bedroom. On cloudy nights you could watch the floresents in the waves coming into the beach while you went to sleep. Other nights you could counting the stars in the western sky.
On the main floor would be the kitchen-dining room combination, with all the newest appliances and an island in the middle of the kitchen with the stove top and hanging pots and pans over it. The sink would be under one of the windows. Under the other window would be the nook for family meals. Between the kitchen windows, which look out to the field where the horses would be enjoying the warm weather are the cupboards. The dining room would have a six chair pine table set and hutch china cabnet. There will also be a three piece bathroom off the kitchen. The living room is in the front with the big front window. The fireplace is on the side wall with small long windows overlooking the driveway to the road a half mile away. The three piece sectional is perfectly positioned to watch the sunset into the western sea. The basement has the laundry room at the back with sewing machine for mending before folding and taking clothes upstairs. Half of the front of the basement is a guest bedroom with ensuite and small fridge and two element stove. The computer room is also at the front of the basement. Both have views of the beach and sea. Opposite the laundry room is my husband's workshop. I don't know what he has in there as it is his domain. In the garage at the side of the house is our wine colored 94 Toyota Crasada and my husband's hog. We often ride the bike along the beach on warm evenings to visit friends.

The beach is a place where you can relax. Hearing the waves crash against rocks is soothing. The sun makes you want to sleep(under an umbrella of course so you don't get sun burned). There are also tips about the beach: For example, you should bring a towel and wear flip-flops. Bring towels because the sand can get into your clothes and make you feel uncomfortable. You should bring flip-flops because if you wear tennis shoes, the sand can get into your shoe and you will have to constantly take off your shoe just to get sand out of it. Also, you should wear sunscreen because the beach is outside, so the Sun is out. The beach is very interesting. When you go there, use the 5 senses:taste, smell, hear, touch, and feel. What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. Flood is considered as one of the most dangerous disasters in the world. There was a “historical flood” that happened in Hanoi in 2008. This must be a year that Hanoians can never forget because the rain was so heavy and lasted for many days consecutively that inundated many streets of Hanoi. The rain was considered heaviest in the last 100 years, which caused people to suffer from a lot of damage. According to statistics, many families even suffered from inundation as high level of water flew into their houses. Offices or schools had to make emergency announcement to let their employees and students be at home to avoid any potential accidents that may caused by the pouring rain. Life then had a lot of disturbance and people had to wait until it stopped raining. The rain triggered inconvenience for people in different fields as high death toll was recorded, traffic was in no order or people stood a high chance of dangerous epidemics. Luckily, after a few days, life began to come back to the way it was thanks to concerted effort of both local authority and many people of the city.

I live in Ha noi and this city has got some several issues related to environmental pollution. The major environmental pollutions that this city has are air pollution and sound pollution.
Air pollution is also very concerning in this city and the chemical smoke, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide emitted from automobiles and industries are the main reason for air pollution. This city has more than million automobiles and thousands of industries which are omitting the dangerous gases, and ingredients which are causing the air pollutions. Air pollution is the direct reason people suffer from various dangerous diseases including lung cancer, asthma, heart disease etc. In fact the number of people currently suffering from these diseases in alarming and if steps are not taken to prevent air pollution immediately, this number would rapidly increase.
Sound pollution is produced by the loud horns used by the cars, loud sound used for announcement and cacophony created due to loud sound. Airplanes that fly over the resident area created a very loud noise as well. Air pollution is a silent killer that causes lots of serious diseases including hearing and brain cancer. The air pollution directly affects the natural balance by affecting the wild lives.
The most important thing to reduce pollution in our city is to create public awareness. We are mostly creating that pollution and endangering ourselves, the Earth and other species. Without our awareness and strict determination to prevent our city from pollution, we can’t reduce or prevent it. Strict laws should be introduced and be applied against any environmental pollution and all the illegitimate industries and companies should be banned. The decentralisation of industries and offices can be effective as it would reduce the number of people currently living in this city.
Job opportunities and other facilities should be improved in the rural areas so that people can manage works in their own cities and villages other than coming to this city. The education and morality are two important aspects that help people understand the necessity of keeping the city clean and healthy.
