Read the text. Complete each sentence with one word.

The Golden Globe Awards is the second most important awards ceremony in Hollywood, after the Oscars. The Golden Globe Awards are for both films and television. There are more categories, including Best Comedy or Musical, and the awards are given by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). These are non-American journalists working in America for foreign newspapers. If an actor or film is nominated for a Golden Globe, it can often be a good clue for the Oscars. The Golden Globes ceremony happens every January before the Oscars, so the film world pays attention. TV actors and directors are happy about the TV awards, because they feel that people think TV is less important than film. Finally, behind all that glamour, the Golden Globes raises millions of dollars for charity every year.

1 After the Oscars, the Golden Globes is the___second___ most important Hollywood ceremony.

2 The Oscars don't have___as___ many awards as the Golden Globes.

3 The HFPA are all ___foreign___ journalists who work in America.

4 The Golden Globe Awards take place in____January__ every year.

5 As well as giving awards, the Golden Globes gives a lot of_____money/ dollars__ to charity.
