Nowadays TV is one of the most popular means of entertainment and relaxation. We can see many programs on the TV: educational programs, films, cartoons, news, and so on. Some programs on TV that I have watched are Tom and Jerry, Pokemon, BBC news, etc. My favorite TV program is "The road to Olympia" :). 2.There are many sports, each of course has its own advantages, but the one that I like the most is badminton. I got into this sport when I was 10 years old, when I watched a fur game on TV and liked it right away. I practice badminton every day, in the afternoon when I come home from school. I used to play with my mother, and sometimes I would play with my brothers. And when I was in gym class, I used to play badminton with my friends, it was really fun. Everybody likes to watch TV and everybody has a favourite TV programme. I want to tell you about my favourite TV programme. I like to watch TV programme "Week of sports" very much, because I like sport. My favourite kind of sports is HOCKEY! I also like tennis and football. In this programme it is told about hockey, tennis. footbal and other kind of sports. That`s why I like it very much. It is told about all events of sports. "Week of sports" is very interesting and faseinating. I recommend to watch it.

I am not particularly keen on watching TV, as in my opinion, not many TV programmes are worth watching but unfortunately the good ones end very late at night. As I often have to get up very early I prefer not to watch those films which finish very late, however good they may be.

"Operaciosn Triunfo" and "Mira quien baila" are some of the programmes that I usually watch. They both have something in common: they are both about acquiring artistic skills through effort and hard work. The difference between these programmes is the way they end. In the first programme the winners donate the prize money to a ngo. In the second programme the winners are offered a recording contract.

In conclusion, these programmes are family orientated. The presenters and contestants in both programmes are friendly and funny, so enjoyment is guaranteed. I really enjoy watching the dancing and listening to the songs.

My favourite TV programme is "Cartoon". It is on many different channel but the channel that has the best cartoon is "Cartoon Network". That programme content many famous cartoon like " Tom and Jerry", "Ben 10", "Sophia the first",... and that's why i like this channel.

I have many hobbies, but I like reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabularies by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tell me about the world's history, let me see the structure of the brain, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activity.

Everyone has their own habits, for example my friend has a habit of playing on the phone after waking up, and I have a habit of reading books before going to sleep. This habit may have been formed since I was young; my mother read me bedtime stories every night when I was not able to read. They could be fairy tales, parables, poems or lyrics. When I started reading well, my mother let me read my favorite books myself. At that time I used to read The famous detective Conan and Doraemon, and my bookcase was almost full with comics. Until I was older, my habit of reading before bed time was still maintained. Instead of just reading comic books like before, now I choose to read more genres, such as short stories by domestic and international writers, ghost stories, Kim Dung’s novels, books written by famous people such as Dreams from My Father, The Audacity of Hope by former US President Barack Obama, Living History by Hillary Clinton … Reading before bed time is not simply a habit, because it helped me a lot in my life. It helps me to improve my memory, learn more useful knowledge, and relax my mind after a long and exhausting day. Hello, everybody! My name is Hanh. Today I am here to present to you about Favorite TV shows. I very like watching cartoons. And of all the film I have seen, “Grave of the fireflies” is one in the cartoons which I like most. In Vietnamese it’s called is “Can ham đom đom” or “Mo đom đom”. It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. It’s written as a apologize to his sister. With Japanese, this film is understand as a fable about the respect. Film is been in historical background at the end of the seconds world war from Japan. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphanages : Seita and Setsuko. They lost mother after a fierce bombing of American air force to Kobe city while their father combat for Japanese navy. So Seita and Setsuko must to struggle to exist between the famine and the resistance to merciless of surrounding people (that have their kinship). They have to live in a shelter-pit and often eat frogs and lizards. At the end, Setsuko have to die for hunger, pictures depict painfulness and the death of little girl can be considered as the most mournful film pictures in the cartoon Japan history. When everybody, who had seen this film are asked, most of them said they cried, and that have me. That brings me to the end of my presentation. Many thanks for your attention!

As a senior high school student, I am very busy with my studies. Although I am very fond of watching television, I can only spend an hour after dinner on my hobby. Of all the TV programs, I like the news and documentaries best.

The news programs shown on all TV channels at 7:00 p.m. help me to know almost everything about different places in our country and important events happening all over the world. Through these programs, I can also know about the main national and international sporting events.

The documentary programs at weekends are my favorites. By watching them, I can learn a great deal about human civilizations, the wonders of nature and the amazing inventions and discoveries of great people in the world.

Watching television is my hobby. I cannot imagine a day in my life without watching it.
