I like a lot of school subjects and activities. I love playing football and joining English Club. I also love outdoor activities such as planting trees, finding history information,… My favourite subject is English and Math.

When going to school, there are many subjects; however I still literature the most. First, literature plays an important role in both education and daily life. Literature is not limit to a subject to be learnt at school. Furthermore, this subject teaches human about several aspects of life. From the very first step, student learns to write, read as well as describe things and people. Moreover, literature teaches one to be a responsible citizen and able personality. Literature is more than a subject, it’s an art and it can be applied directly into life such as: journalism, writing skill. People are not born to learn this unique subject, it needs long time to exercise to master. Besides, when learning literature people not only know more works of art but also understand culture, tradition of each country. Literature is the mirror reflecting human and their lifestyle. Studying literature means learning the way to love and live a true life. All in all, with great benefits of literature, it is necessary for each society especially developing countries.

What subject you like best in school

The subject I like best in school is geography and the subject I hate is arithmetic. Even from my younger day, I have been longing to know more about other countries and the people who live there.

Geography teaches me not only about my own country but also the neighouring countries and the world in general. From what I have studied, I have a longing to see London, Paris, New-York and Tokyo. I have heard much about Mount Fujiyama, the snow-capped mountain of Japan. I also want to see Japan during the cherryblossom season. I want to see New-York and its sky-scrapers.

Geography interests me because without visiting these places I learn about them in books. For pupils like me who are poor and cannot afford to visit these places, the knowledge of geography is all the most useful. It is perhaps the second best means of knowing more about other countries.

Normally, when I have free time, I usually play sports, watch tv, surf webs and read books. After learnt stressful hours , activities such as help me entertain and relax. And playing sport is the free time activity I like best. Firstly, I like to play sport because it is really a healthy activity . You knows, sports provides many benefits for our health. Living in the countryside is really good for your life because of these reasons:- First, living in the country can bring you a clean evironment. The air is fresher and there are lots oftrees, rice fields and rivers, you can walk on the fields or along the rivers to enjoy the clean and fresh airthere in the early morning.- Second, living in the countryside is cheaper than in the city because people there have lower income anddon’t have the habit of spending a lot of money. If you live in the country, you can save a lot of money.- Finally, people in the country are more friendly and opener than people in the city because they live neareach other. One day, I went on a Safari and to a water park. It was interesting to see wild animals. At that weekend, I took a bus to go to the centre market. I tried local food and bought a lot of souvenirs for my parents there. It was an amazing trip!

My favorite subject is English. The first reason I like this subject is that itis a core subject which is vital and essential in my career path. I try to learn thisinternational language well so that I can communicate with foreigners and find agood job in the future. Furthermore, learning English well can help me readbooks or magazines in English. Through reading things in English, I can beexposed to various cultures and customs. Besides, my English teacher is adedicated person who can engage me in her lessons and bring the passion for me.I found her lessons interesting because she delivered them in a way that I reallyliked. In short, English is an important subject which I am really keen on.

History was my favourite subject in my academic year and I have learned so many things from the history books I read and learned from teachers related to history and they were so interesting that I later did my graduation majoring History.

Learning about the past history is something that gives us real knowledge about our country, the world and about the human race. I read History in my grade 7 and found it very interesting. This subject taught us about the past of your world, how the social and economic condition was and how the world has been shaped by the different events throughout the time. After that, I become so interested in this subject that I started reading books on History from different writers. There is a famous saying that "to shape the future you must know the past" and history teaches us that. I had been lucky to have some great teachers who have a tremendous way of explaining the topics of History. To me, other subjects like literature and Math were also interesting but I felt a different passion on History.

After I finished my school, I took History as my major and that has greatly influenced me the way I look at the world and to the past and future. Reading and learning history was like travelling through time and generations that excited me so much.
