Every day I have chance to watch different famous people shine and bring inspiration to others on TV; however, the one that inspires me the most is Taylor Swift. She is a typical example of a strong, intelligent and independent woman. She used to be a small girl who had been bullied throughout the school years. However, she overcame all the difficulties to become one of the most successful singer and composer of America. She challenges herself in different types of music, from Country, Ballad to Pop, and all of her songs carry deep meanings. Most people can find themselves in her lyrics and her melodies. Besides her singing career, she is also a businesswoman who has her own enterprises and brand names. She had tried so hard in her youth to achieve the things that I always dream of; therefore, she is a great symbol that I always look up. Taylor Swift is forever my beloved idol, and her effort is the goal for me to never quit trying.

I’m Nam, I’m 15 years old. My favorite sport is swimming. I can go swimming in both summer and winter. Normally, I would go swimming for two days a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. I often go swimming with my best friend. He will wait for me after school. Then starts to go to the swimming pool. I learned to swim when I was 10 years old. Swimming helps me feel better. Thanks to learning how to swim since childhood, I am quite tall. I am very proud of that. Swimming sometimes helps me forget about the bad things. I often participate in swimming club competitions. Playing exercise not only improves one health but also reduce stress. I choose to play badminton after a hard studying day. Badminton is a famous sport around the world. It is played by children, adult and even od people as it helps to exercise our muscles. Un football, badminton needs a smaller area of place to play. All the 2 players have to do is making the ball pass by a net until it drops on the ground. Although it seems to be easy, it requires lots of pracal skill and flexibility. Moreover, being good at badminton, one will be able to play other sport related to small ball such as table tennis. Nowadays, people tend to pay more attention to sports since it brings several physical and psychological benefits especially badminton. Besides, many high schools and universities teach badminton as a physical subject for students. In my opinion, everyone should take up badminton as a regular sports because of its advantages. Sport is necessary in modern society as human are going to be lazy.

Chủ nhật tuần trước, gia đình em đi xem chương trình ca múa nhạc tại một tụ điểm giải trí ở quận 1. Nhiều chương trình đặc sắc, nhiều bài hát rất hay được các ca sĩ trình bày thật hấp dẫn. Em chú ý một nữ ca sĩ trình bày nhạc phẩm “Cho con” của cố nhạc sĩ Phạm Trọng Càu đó là ca sĩ Tuyết Nhi.

Cồ ấy khá trẻ, chưa đến ba mươi. Mái tóc buông xõa cùng chiếc áo dài lóng lánh dưới ánh đèn sân khấu, trông dáng cô ấy thật thướt tha. Cô có gương mặt ưa nhìn, nước da trắng trẻo, dáng người cao và mảnh khảnh cùng điệu bộ trình bày bài hát thật hài hòa.

Với chất giọng đặc biệt, nội dung bài hát chứa chan tình cảm cùng phong cách biểu diễn hoàn hảo, cô đã dẫn người nghe vào một đại gia đình ấm cúng tràn đầy hạnh phúc. Vừa nghe em vừa nhìn bố, nhìn mẹ rồi nhìn cả em gái mình với ánh mắt trìu mến. Em thầm cảm ơn bố mẹ đã cho em sự yêu thương vô bờ bến. Em thật hạnh phúc và cảm thấy tự tin hơn khi được sống cùng gia đình.

Em cũng thầm cảm ơn cô ca sĩ trẻ dễ mến kia đã khơi trong em tình thương yêu cha mẹ để tình cảm ấy ngày một sâu sắc hơn. Buổi xem ca nhạc đã khép lại mà lòng em vẫn còn thấy lâng lâng, xao động cùng những tình cảm nhẹ nhàng, hồn nhiên. Em rất trân trọng những ca sĩ, nhạc sĩ đã mang đến cho mọi người những giây phút thăng hoa. Bằng lời ca tiếng nhạc, họ đã khiến tâm hồn con người thêm rộng mở, cuộc đời thêm tươi đẹp.

Hôm chủ nhật tuần vừa rồi, sau khi đi học tiếng anh, tôi được mẹ chở thẳng đến cung văn hóa Hữu nghị Việt – Xô.

Mẹ con chúng tôi đến rất sớm, lúc đó mới chỉ có vài nhóm sinh viên đang ngồi trò chuyện bàn tán.

Tôi nhanh chân chạy lên hàng ghế đầu tiên ngồi và giữ chỗ cho mẹ.

Trong buổi biểu diễn này, tôi muốn quan sát kĩ hình ảnh của Mỹ Tâm, cô ca sĩ mà tôi yêu thích nhất.

Ca sĩ Mỹ Tâm rất nổi tiếng trong giới trẻ nhờ giọng hát đầy truyền cảm và phong cách biểu diễn trẻ trung, sôi động.

Cô là người biểu diễn tiết mục đầu tiên hôm đó. Khi tiếng của người dẫn trương trình vừa dứt, mọi người vỗ tay reo hò.

Cô mỉm cười cúi đầu nhìn khán giả.

Mọi người lại càng vỗ tay to hơn.

Mỹ Tâm ngồi vắt chân trên ghế, tay ôm cây đàn ghi ta và bắt đầu cất tiếng hát: “Đời sinh viên có cây đàn ghi ta…”.

Giọng cô trầm bổng, thiết tha và đầy cảm xúc.

Hôm đó, cô ăn mặc rất giản dị: một chiếc quần jean màu xanh, một chiếc áo sơ mi ngang khủy tay, và một đôi giày bệt màu trắng.

Cô để mái tóc xoăn của mình vắt sang một bên, ánh mắt nhìn xuống khán giả một vẻ đầy tự tin, đôi môi của cô vừa hát vừa thể hiện cảm xúc của bài hát.

Cô chẳng trang điểm nhiều là mấy nhưng trông cô vẫn rất xinh xắn. 

Khán giả ở dưới im lặng nghe cô hát. Đến câu hát cuối cùng: “…Và nhớ nhau ôm cây đàn ghi ta” thì cô đứng dậy cúi chào khán giả.

Tiếng vỗ tay của khán giả vang dội cả hội trường. Mọi người chạy lên sân khấu tặng hoa tới tấp.

Computer currently helps me much in my study.

First of all, it helps me format my lessons effectively. I often type my lessons on the computer and format them to make them attractive to eyes so that I may learn them by heart quickly and review them conveniently.

Next, computer helps me keep my materials safely for future use. Today, beside the hard drive, I often bring my USB’s with me and use them to save all what I want at any time and place.

Moreover, I often updatemy materials on the screen. This enables me to create clear and tidy versions of materials and save up much time for other activities. On the other hand, computer is the most helpful friend helping me learn information and knowledge on the internet.

Thanks to computer, I often access the internet and learn many things. Computer has made my understanding better day by day and become indispensable for my study.

Doraemon is one of my favorite comics, written by Fujiko Fujio. This is a famous comic book, adapted into many diferent kinds such as animated films, plays and short stories. The main character is Doraemon cats from the 22nd century to help Nobita, the lubberly boy. His duty is to help Nobia overcome troubles by using magical decorations. In addition, Doraemon and his team including Nobita, Xeko, Chaien and Xuka also join in the adventuous journey to the new land that is exciting and also dangerous. Through the pages, we see a beautiful and pure friendship. The first time I read Doraemon was in the second grade, since then, the book has been with my childhood, creating beautiful memories.
