My parents gave me a trip to Sapa as a present for my effort in the previous school year and the trip was an unforgettable memory to me. My family got there in the morning when the weather was cool but it began to become warmer at noon and in the afternoon but in the evening, the outside was quite cold and even having snow at night. It was such an amazing experience that I really enjoyed it. We also went sightseeing and the natural beauty here took my breath away. The romantic and peaceful atmosphere with ranges of mountains surrounded by fog soon made a strong impression on me. I also had an opportunity to try seating on a cable car and enjoyed how breathtaking the view was.That was the first time in my life that I could see mountain, forests and waterfalls with my own eyes.The next day, my mom and I spent time going to the market where many of activities took place and I bought some souvenirs as gifts for my close friend. Especially, I was totally surprised at the ability of speaking English of local residents, especially small children. Besides, I also had a chance to try local food such as Sapa Cap Nach Pork, bamboo sticky rice, Tao Meo Wine… Each has its unique flavors that all satisfied my tastes. Finally my family had to say goodbye to Sapa but I still hope to come back here one day in a nearest future.

There, I could still see Bac Giang, my hometown, and see the Luc head river with many glorious victories still flowing day and night.

Emperor Ly Thanh Tong founded The Temple of Literature in 1070. Now it is considered as one of the historic and cultural sites of Vietnam. And then in 1076 Emperor Ly Nhan Tong built The Imperial Academy as the first university of Vietnam.In 1484, Emperor Le Thanh Tong built the first Doctor’s stone tablet there to memorize the devotion of Doctors. Now it is recognized as the World heritage by UNESCO. In 2003, the Ha Noi People Committee built four statues of Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, Emperor Ly Nhan Tong, King Le Thanh Tong, and Chu Van An who founded and developed Temple of Literature – Imperial Academy.

Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) was constructed in 1070 during Ly Thanh Tong's dynasty. Its original purpose was to honor Confucius. In 1076, the first university of Vietnam called Quoc Tu Giam (The Imperial Academy), was established within this temple by Emperor Ly Nhan Tong. Nha Trang is one of the most beautiful coastal cities in Vietnam. The last time I came here was 1 year ago. Nha Trang is located in Khanh Hoa province. It takes 3 hours to get there by car from my house. It was a sunny day and my brother drove everyone along. We arrived in Nha Trang at 5pm. This place was wonderful. The scenery here makes me feel peaceful and gentle. Waves of waves, gentle sea breezes, long stretch of white sand and clear blue sea water. All of these were looking to paint a picture of a beautiful landscape. We stayed there 2 days and 3 nights. We rented rooms in a five-star hotel. Everything here is very comfortable. The cleanliness I like best in this hotel is the cleanliness. We have 4 people so we rented out 2 rooms. My dad and brother stay in one room. Me and my mother stay in one room. Every morning I get up early to go for a walk and watch the sunrise. After that, I will return to the hotel to have breakfast with everyone. Then we went to visit the small islands here. There are Tre Island, Monkey Island, and Yen Island. After going all over the islands we visited the Ponaga Cham Tower. The special architecture of the Cham structure has created this place. My family sunbathe together on the white sand beach and together enjoy glasses of fragrant coconut water. My brother and I play together in the sea water. With a beautiful beach, this place has a lot of tourists. If I have time I would love to be able to come back here again.

People often say that Ho Chi Minh City is just a place to develop a career, and very few people choose HCM as a tourist destination. And I also think so, I think HCM is dusty and not suitable for travel. However, my family is in the countryside and has never had a chance to go to Ho Chi Minh City. So last Mid-Autumn Festival, my family chose Ho Chi Minh city as a destination to travel. We chose the Mid-Autumn Festival to visit because there are many places that decorate Mid-Autumn such as Lantern street, Starlight Bridge, Dam Sen Park, city children’s house. In addition to the above places, we also went to the city post office, the city theater and visited the tallest building in Vietnam Landmark 81. After this outing, I feel HCM is a pretty interesting tourist destination.

Tuy nhiên, gia đình tôi ở nông thôn và chưa có dịp đi HCM lần nào. Vậy nên Tết Trung Thu vừa qua, cả gia đình tôi đã chọn HCM là nơi để đi chơi. Chúng tôi lựa chọn dịp Tết trung thu để tham quan vì ở đây có nhiều địa điểm trang trí Trung thu khá hoành tráng như là phố lồng đèn, cầu ánh sao, đầm sen, nhà thiếu nhi thành phố. Ngoài những địa điểm trên thì chúng tôi cũng đã đến bưu điện thành phố, nhà hát thành phố và tham quan tòa nhà cao nhất Việt Nam là Landmark 81. Sau chuyến đi chơi này, tôi cảm thấy HCM là một địa điểm du lịch khá thú vị.

I live in Ho Chi Minh City, I often see people traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to DaLat by motorbike. However, I choose the safer option is to go by bus. If you go at night, it only takes about 5 hours to come to Da Lat.

My first impression when I came to Da Lat was the weather, it is quite cold. I rented a 3 star hotel, however, when I entered the room, I did not see the air conditioner anywhere. Was the air cold, so they didn’t have an air conditioner?

I stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights, the food in Da Lat was quite good, the scenery was also very nice. Especially, the people were very friendly.
