In my family the closest person to me is my brother. He is the oldest child in the family. He is 18 years old this year and studies very well. He is very tall and thin. He is my brother, so we love each other very much. Because he studied in A, most of the time he studied . So I usually help him with the housework. He is the one who helps me learn when there are difficult Math problems. Whenever I don't understand a lesson he will help me. Before the exam day, he also taught me the lessons I didn't understand and encouraged me to do well in the exam. Thanks to my brother, I got good results in math. And I am more and more confident in math. But the above made my brother the closest person to me.    

Everyone has a family. Family is where we are forgiven for our mistakes, where we can express what we think. all members always hold an important role for us. They always give us the warmest things without equal. But perhaps the person who makes me happiest is my mother. From the first day I was born, my mother worked very hard. Then when I grew up, my mother also had to pay for school fees just so I could study. My mother has a well-proportioned figure, not too thin or not too fat, so she looks good in any outfit. Mom has short wavy hair. This hair makes my mother more attractive. My mother's hand has many calluses from overwork. Every day, my mother has to get up early to prepare breakfast for the family, then she has to hurry to go to work. My mother goes to work from dawn until 7 at night. When I brought the sewing machine home, my mother was very tired but still had to cook a meal, I really felt heartbroken. I hope the epidemic can pass quickly so that my mother can go to work more comfortably.

My mother is a teacher, and her name is Thanh. She is 40 years old. She is tall and slim, and she has bright skin with long black hair. She is a very nice and friendly person. Her students always give her compliments, and they love to study with her. Every day, she wakes up at 6 o’clock to cook breakfast for me, and then she goes to school. She teaches Math at a secondary school, and she is a very good teacher. She comes back home at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, and I help her to make dinner. Her hobbies are reading books, listening to music, and doing shopping. At the weekend, she usually goes to the mall to buy something she likes, and I really enjoy going with her. She is a good mother who always takes care of the family, and I love her so much.

The person I really like is my close friend, Sarah. We first met during our freshman year of college in a literature class. Sarah has a warm and compassionate personality. She is always there to listen and offer support to others. I really like her because she is kind-hearted, empathetic, and has an uplifting spirit that brings positivity to every situation.

I would like to tell you an occasion when my neighbor renovated his building which is next to my house the last weekend. The noise of drills, hammer, other power tools, and the shout from workers were extremely bothering to me.

I heard that there had been some problem with water leaking in their house, thus, they needed to rip the floor out to find the problem of water pipe system hidden inside. Besides, they also took that chance to re-decorate their house. That’s why the noise of hammers, saws, drills seemed endless on the whole day. Because the owners didn’t have much time off from work, they had to begin very soon in the morning. I must say that the staccato hammer drill at the crack of dawn woke up all of citizens in the neighbour, and prevented us from going back to sleep again. As my house is next to theirs, I almost could feel that the walls shook and it drove me insane.

Though being so bothered by the noise, I couldn’t do anything but for standing it, hoping it could end as soon as possible. After 2 hours, I nearly went crazy with that noise, so I called up my friends and asked them out for cafe and shopping.

This child is my uncle's son. His name is Tien. I usually see him twice a week. He is a seven-year-old boy. He really likes eating spaghetti and making crafts with m. I like him very much!!!

A famous person who I am really interested in is definitely My Tam. She is the best pop singer in Viet Nam who embarked on her singing career in 1999. The Da Nang-born singer has recently become Vietnam’s first-ever artist to be listed on Billboard’s World Albums chart, after releasing her ninth studio album ‘Tam 9’.

My Tam is my biggest idol because she is a great singer with beautiful voice. Some years ago, I caught a glimpse of her on TV and was immediately hooked by her outstanding performance. I have became her loyal fan since then. I really like the way she sings and the way she expresses the feeling of the song. To my admiration, she has always worked seriously to give high quality music products.

My Tam is beloved for her good personality too. She is known to all her fans for her gregariousness and sense of humour. Besides, she has also devoted her time to organizing free concerts for univeristy students nationwide. Together with her fans and friends, she has been doing a lot of charity activities silently to help the poor, the sick and the homeless people.
