Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

All of them are designed with funny symbols when the moon is rising, children join lantern parades. They walk along the streets. They perform fantastic lion dances, sing folk songs in the moonlight. It is really an excitng show. The Mid - Autumn festival is an opprtunir for a family re-union. The young generation express their gratitude to the  old generation and parents show their love for their children. The Mid-Autumn festival dates back to the Rice Civilization of the Red River delta, over 4000 years ago. It is fantastic and charming with its history.

In one bite, customers can feel the crispness, a little bit sweetness, fat and freshness of the vegetables and just want to eat more. To sum up, coming to Vietnam, if you want to explore the culinary culture here, Banh Xeo will be an amazing experience that should not be missed.Next, my favorite drink is Coca-Cola. It is a carbonated, sweetened soft drink and is the world’s best-selling drink. A popular nickname for Coca-Cola is Coke. I often drink Coca to meet my thirst. In addition, I also drink it when eating fast or greasy foods like fried chicken, French fries, hot pot dishes,… Although Coca is delicious, it is harmful to health. I used to attend the Tet Holiday Flower festival. It’s called Nguyen Hue Flower street Festival. It is held in Nguyen Hue Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It takes place every Tet Holiday for 1 week. It is celebrated by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. They display and decorate the street with many kinds of flowers and lights. Many people come there to enjoy the beautiful flowers and take pictures.

Mid-Autumn Festival is under the full moon day of the lunar calendar every year in August, over 4,000 years ago. This is the day children’s festival, also known as the “Festival looks Moon”. Children are expected Tet is because adults are often donated toys, usually light. His star, mask, light pull troops … and pies, cakes plastic. Mid-Autumn celebration is also an opportunity for members of the family to get together and share everything in their year. The young generation express their gratitude to the old generation. The parents show their love for their children. For others, because the traditional time to have this festival is usually after harvesting the crops, it is as the congratulation for the full harvest.

Apart from moon cakes and lanterns, the other most visible tradition related to Mid-Autumn festival is the lion dance. On the nights leading up to the holiday, groups of children parade through the streets – some of the children maintain a martial beat on drums, while others control an extravagantly decorated ‘lion’ crafted from molds and paper.

The children approach homes and businesses and ask the owners for their permission to perform. If they agree, the children put on a show that is believed to bring a blessing of luck and fortune. Afterwards the host gives the children lucky money as a sign of gratitude.

Lunar New Year festival, also known as Tet, is the biggest traditional festival in my country, Viet Nam. Tet is usually from the end of January to early February. Before Tet, Vietnamese people prepare many things, we always want everything to be perfect for the new year. In particularly, we clean the house and decorate it with flowers and trees such as kumquat tree, peach blossom,… In addition, a huge amount of food will be bought before Tet for making traditional dishes like Banh Chung, Banh Tet, Gio cha,… During Tet, we visit our relatives and give them wishes.  Traditionally, elders will give lucky money to children and the oldest people in the family. However, nowadays, we can give it to anyone including friends, parents, neighbors. Besides, Vietnamese usually go to pagodas or temples to pray for health, wealth, success. All in all, Tet is all about going back to origins, being good to others, enjoying the precious moment, and wishing for the best to come.

I think listening to music is my hobby. I love listening to all kind of music when I do my housework, when I do not have anything to do, or even when I have meal. I love all kinds of music; country, pop, rock and roll, and other kind of music. I am interested in hearing them because all songs bring me back my lovely memories. And they bring me energy to clean my sould. Most of the time, I love listening to music to relax my body. The music can make everything funier. Listening to some new songs is awesome. You can see the life is more beautiful.
