1.What is an extended family?

An extended family is a family that extends beyond the nuclear family, consisting of parents like father, mother, and their children, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins, all living in the same household. Particular forms include the stem and joint families.

2. What is a nuclear family?

A nuclear family is a family group consisting of two parents and their children (one or more). It is in contrast to a single-parent family, the larger extended family, or a family with more than two parents.

3. Do you prefer living in a nuclear or extended family? Why?

I live in a nuclear family with just my parents and my younger sister. And I love my small house.Firtly, living in a nuclear family is more comfotable than an extended family because I don’t think that it will have many rules. So we will have more less problems. In addition,we can share the chores in my house and we can do it together. It makes us have time to understand than. Moreover,my parents are more open-minded.They always just give us advice, but they never try to impose their decision on us.Which I like most in a nuclear family. On the other hand,a nuclear family will have less happy.Because it consists of parent and children whereas an extended family includes not only parents and children but also grandparent, uncles, ants and cousins. In conlusion, each other family will have problems but it isn't important when we known share and we love togerther.

4. What are the disadvantage of living in a nuclear family?

lLving in a nuclear family also exists some disadvantages. The first drawback is that in nuclear family both husband and wife adopt profession outside the family, then children are neglected and looked after by the servants. They feel lonely and emotional insecure. In addition, After completion of household task, the housewife becomes alone at home. At the time of emergency one can get any help and support from any other. Moreover, In nuclear family widowed, old and divorce fare very much neglected. No one in the family bothers to take care of them. Physically and psychologically they feel insecure.

6. What are the most important qualities for a person to get along with other members in a extended family?

Firstly, willingness to share is quite essential for all members of multigenerational families. Because we live with lots of others including our grandparents and our relatives, we have to share almost everything such as bedrooms, bathrooms, televisions or computers. It also means that people can share the high living expenses together, namely water and electricity bills and food. Secondly, being able to be sympathetic is considered as an important quality to live in harmony with the extended family. Apparently, generation gaps are unavoidable and they are likely to be wider when incredible technological innovations are changing the world significantly these days. However, if each member learns to understand and respect others’ perspective, generation gaps will not be big troubles. Finally, in order to maintain the harmony in the family, everyone needs to take care of as well as support each other. Each member ought to be willing to help others whenever they encounter difficulties. The encouragement and help from the family partly assist them in overcoming obstacles. In a word, getting along well with other family members requires individuals’ effort. Hence, some typical qualities a person should have to live in harmony with the extended family are willingness to share, sympathy and supportiveness.

2. how do you learn english?

Improving Your Spoken English Speak a little English every day. The absolute best way to learn any new language is just to speak it. It doesn't matter if you only know five English words or if you're practically fluent -- speaking English with another person is the fastest, most effective method of improving. Work on your pronunciation. Even if you have an acceptable grasp of the English language, with good grammar and an extensive vocabulary, native English speakers may find you very difficult to understand if you don't work on your pronunciation. Expand your vocabulary and use idiomatic phrases. The wider your vocabulary and the more English phrases you learn, the easier speaking English will become. Attend an English class or discussion group. Another great way to incorporate some extra English conversation into your weekly routine is to sign up for a class of discussion group. 5.Carry a dictionary. Carrying an English dictionary with you at all times (whether it's an actual book or a phone app) can be very useful. 6.Listen to English radio or podcasts. One of the best ways to improve your English listening comprehension is to download English-language podcasts or radio apps on your phone or MP3 player. 7.Watch English movies and TV shows 3. what your hobbies? Why? My hobbies are making crafts and cooking. They both give me a lot of benefits: creativity, confidence, reduce negative stress and personal development.

4. what do you do in your free time?

I often read novels, comics or surf the Internet and maybe make some crafts

5. what will you do in the future?

I wanna become a good lecture of English in a famous university in the future. I want to earn much money for my private life and for taking care of my parents when they are old.

6. do you like to live in the city or in the country? Why? Why not

Some people would say that living in a city is way better than living in countryside. But for me, living in countryside is the best.Advanced technology, reliable transportation and convenient as ever. These are just few things what people like about living in a city. Buildings, establishments, excellent schools, and entertainment are mostly situated in cities. Transportation in cities is much more advanced than in countryside. LRT and busses will take you anywhere you want in no time. Also, education in countryside makes no match for the high quality education in cities. But, living in a city also has certain disadvantages. Overcrowded, it is one of the problems a modern city faces today. Because of the cities convenient and innovative life, people tend to migrate to cities to live. Pollution is also a major problem. Certain people who live in cities just throw or dump their garbage anywhere. Also, crime rate in cities are higher than those in countryside.Living in countryside is way different than living in cities. Witnessing breathtaking sceneries everyday as you wake up while inhaling the breeze of fresh crisp air will surely relax your day. Also, the friendly, hospitable and family-oriented people will always welcome you or help you anytime. Unlike in cities, countryside has less pollution since it has no lot of vehicles. The only problem is the transportation. Since only few vehicles are in the countryside, you will have a hard time waiting for a ride.
To sum up, living in a countryside is better than living in a city

7. do you like playing computer games? Why?

Yes I do. Because playing computer games gives me pleasure and relaxment. Moreover, it may provide us some useful practical skills in life.

As a traditional Vietnam family, I have a big family. My family has 6 members including my mum, my dad, my grandmother, my big brother, little sister and me. My mum's name is Lan. She's got short, black hair and brown eyes. She and my dad work in business of medicine. My dad's name is Phong. He's short. He's got black short hair. My little sister's slim. She's quit beautiful. She's got black long hair. My big brother's short like my dad. 20 years before, Vietnam was a poor country. Paying for cost of living of family with 3 little children comes to be a difficult problem, My mum and my dad have worked hard day by day, even my 60-year-old grandmother also had to buy foods to help apart. You know that's a difficult time, but now we grown up and my family's financial problems were improved. Thank life for everything.
