Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

All of the special holidays in my country, I Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods ...

Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!

Last Sunday, my class organized a trip to Son Tinh Island camp. We set off at 5 hours and it took us 3 hours to get there. On arrival, everyone was quite excited and happy. Chủ nhật tuần trước, lớp mình tổ chức một chuyến đi dã ngoại đến đảo Sơn Tinh camp. Chúng mình xuất phát từ lúc 5 giờ và phải mất 3 tiếng mới đến nơi. Trên đường đi, mọi người đều khá hồi hộp và háo hức. Hôm ấy, trời rất đẹp, không khí trong lành. Trên đảo có rất nhiều nhà sàn và xích đu. Chúng mình được phân công dựng lều. Sau đó, mình tham gia những trò chơi tập thể như mèo đuổi chuột, bịt mắt bắt dê,... Các bạn đều rất hào hứng và thích thú. Một số bạn thua phải chịu phạt, làm mặt con bò rất buồn cười. Hôm ấy, cô giáo còn tổ chức sinh nhật cho một số bạn trong lớp. Đến trưa, đa số mọi người đều cảm thấy đói, chúng mình trở về lều, ăn những thức ăn đã được chuẩn bị sẵn từ hôm trước, sau đó, ngồi kể chuyện và ca hát, chụp ảnh chung. Buổi chiều, chúng mình được dạo biển bằng tàu thủy. Đây là lần đầu mình được trải nghiệm đi trên mặt nước, cảm giác vô cùng tuyệt vời. Đến 5 giờ, mọi người phải thu xếp hành lí để trở về, mình mua được một số món quà lưu niệm nhỏ. Trên đường đi, nhìn bóng hòn đảo xa dần, mình mong rằng sẽ có nhiều hơn nữa những chuyến dã ngoại lí thú như vầy.

I am living in a apartment with my parents in Hanoi. It is located in the center of Hanoi which you can easily find. The streets are crowded with people but is has a convenient traffic. My apartment looks quite spacious and fresh. To describe my house regarding the design, it is simple as possible as because my parents doesn’t sophisated decoration. There is a living rom, one kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms in my house.

The living room should be the biggest one where my family welcomes friends or entertains together after a long day. In each room, there is an own unique design with a bathroom is always very clean. I my kitchen where my family gathers in ther evening. To me, my house is a place where I feel the best in the world.

Last summer I had the opportunity to go to Phu Quoc. This is one of the great tourist destinations that I have been to. Phu Quoc is an island district. There are large islands here and many other small islands. I departed for Phu Quoc by plane. I booked a room at a hotel near the sea. Here I can watch the sunrise. The climate here is cool. The air is very fresh. I swim with my friends. Phu Quoc has many different beaches. If you have time, you can experience each place. The clear blue sea and fine sand are the attraction of Phu Quoc, not everywhere. There are many places to check in here. I took a lot of photos to make memories. Phu Quoc fish sauce is one of the specialties that many tourists buy as gifts for relatives and friends. Because my time was limited, I stayed in Phu Quoc not long. I think I’ll be back here this summer.

Tet is the most important holiday of Viet Nam.And because it is the most important, the traffic is more complicated.Before the holiday,people have to prepare for it.Many people catch buses,taxis,trains or even planes from everywhere in Viet Nam and forgein countries back to their beloved homes;some even have to ride their motorbikes with their children back home inspite of the long way;...just to reunite with their families to celebrate Tet.That why the street are full of motorbikes,buses,taxis,cars,...Also,people sell alot on this holiday,such as:kumquat trees,apricot or peach blossoms,fruit,incense,...So,it is not save to pass or ride vichles on the street.But,everything change when we begin to celebrate Tet on the first day.The road are clear and not much vichles are seen.It is quite save after all.But,don't jump out of the road without purpose and be careful.

My favorite sport is volleyball. I have been passionate about this sport since I was a boy. Growing up, I used to play with my friends after school every hour. We got together on the volleyball court in the school, then split into two teams to play. Every team tries to score points by hitting the ball over the net, and the ball must touch inside the field. If the team bounces off the pitch, the score belongs to the other team. Additionally, each team can get points when their opponent makes a mistake. I can name a few common mistakes when playing this sport such as: the ball hits the outside of the bounds, the ball hits the arm or the net, throws the ball away or catches the ball, … Volleyball’s intentions seem quite complicated, but we still love to play the sport. It has helped me improve and exercise my own health. Besides, it also helps me feel more at ease after every stressful class in class. I love playing volleyball because it gave me a lot of fun and memories with my friends. I hope in the future I can join the competitive school club and win lots of awards. When it comes to enjoyment, what I find the most interesting is to go traveling to different places and try the local cuisine there. In my journeys, I was strikingly impressed by many kinds of food, one of which is crispy pancake - also known as Banh Xeo. The ingredients to make flour mixture include rice flour, coconut cream, turmeric, onions and salt, mixed with water. The batter is then added into a frying pan brushed with vegetable oil and forms a thin pancake. After about two minutes, the cooker will scatter some pork, shrimps and sprouts on half of the cake then fold it in half to cover the filling and cook for thirty seconds. The dish is often served with traditional sauce made from fish sauce mixed with lemon, garlic and chilli. An interesting feature about Banh Xeo is the way people eat them. The pancake will be cut into two to three pieces and rolled in sheets of rice paper together with some lettuces. The roll is dipped into the prepared sauce, which creates a stunning combination of flavor. In one bite, customers can feel the crispness, a little bit sweetness, fat and freshness of the vegetables and just want to eat more. To sum up, coming to Vietnam, if you want to explore the culinary culture here, Banh Xeo will be an amazing experience that should not be missed.Next, my favorite drink is Coca-Cola. It is a carbonated, sweetened soft drink and is the world’s best-selling drink. A popular nickname for Coca-Cola is Coke. I often drink Coca to meet my thirst. In addition, I also drink it when eating fast or greasy foods like fried chicken, French fries, hot pot dishes,… Although Coca is delicious, it is harmful to health. Mùa xuân về ngập tràn sắc mai vàng thanh nhã, sắc cúc vàng rực rỡ, hay sắc ly kiêu hãnh.... Nhưng đặc trưng nhất của ngày Tết miền Bắc là sắc đào đỏ với nhiều niềm may mắn...kèm những lời chúc tết cực kỳ ý nghĩa trong dịp tết nguyên đán.

Mỗi dịp Tết đến xuân về, trong gia đình tôi lại có một cây đào. Được cắt tỉa gọn gàng nên cây đào có hình chóp trông như một cái nón rất đẹp mắt. Đào được trồng trong một cái chậu cành rất to và trang trí nhiều hoa văn. Vẻ đẹp của cây đào như được tôn thêm nhờ vẻ đẹp của cái chậu cảnh ấy. Cây đào cao ngang đầu tôi nên thỉnh thoảng đứng gần, tôi thủ thỉ bên tai đào như hai người bạn. Thân cây nhỏ nhưng cứng cáp, mặc một cái áo gilê màu nâu sậm. Từ thân ấy đâm ra không biết bao nhiêu cánh tay tí hon. Những cành nhỏ vươn ra như khoe những nụ đào chúm chím, còn đang e ấp. Từng ngày trôi qua, những nụ hoa ấy cũng khẽ cựa mình khoe sắc thắm, khoe những cánh hoa màu hồng mềm mại, mỏng manh. Khi những cánh hoa xoè rộng, nhị vàng bên trong hé mình nhìn ngắm bên ngoài. Xen lẫn với nụ hoa là những mầm xanh nhú lộc nhưng có khi đã bật mình thành những chiếc lá xanh. Để thêm phân hấp dẫn, bố con tôi còn quàng lên mình cây đào những chòm đèn xanh đỏ nhấp nháy. Buổi tối, khi bật đèn nhìn cây đào càng thêm phần rực rỡ, kiêu sa.....

Cây đào dường như trở thành tâm điểm của sư chú ý. Cả gia đình tôi ai cũng thích cây đào. Không chỉ vì nó mang đến không khí ngày Tết mà còn là nhịp cầu nối mọi người gần nhau hơn. Thỉnh thoảng, cả gia đình tôi lại quây quần bên nhau ngắm hoa đào và thưởng thức những ngụm trà ấm nóng. Đó là khoảnh khắc đặc biệt quí giá với gia đình tôi.

Tết đến xuân về, muôn hoa khoe sắc. Nhưng như đã trở thành truyền thống, hoa đào là biểu tượng mùa xuân miền Bắc và của cả nước ta. Nhìn hoa đào, ta biết mùa xuân đã đến. Những đứa con xa nhà lại chuẩn bị trở về với gia đình thân yêu.

Mùa hè, thứ đẹp nhất là những cây phượng vĩ và tiếng ve. Suốt năm học, hàng phượng vĩ đứng trầm ngâm, dang rộng vòng tay che mát con đường đi vào trường. Và đến mùa hè, những cây phượng vĩ khoe vẽ đẹp rực rỡ của mình với những chú ve đang hòa mình vào một dàn đồng ca mùa hạ.

Từ xa nhìn lại, hàng phượng vĩ như dải lụa đỏ thắm đang uốn lượn giữa bầu trời. Lại gần mới thấy các cây phượng vĩ thật cao lớn, chúng xếp thành từng hàng đều tăm tắp như khi chúng em xếp hàng chào cờ. Thân hình nó vạm vỡ, to lớn đến nổi vòng tay của hai bạn học sinh mới ôm được. Ở ngoài nó mặc một lớp áo giáp dày như một chàng hiệp sĩ đang che chắn những nàng công chúa hoa phượng khoe sắc thắm với những cậu lá non xanh tươi. Lúc này, những tia nắng rực rỡ của mùa hè chiếu vào khiến hoa phượng càng thêm sáng tươi. Trên những cành phượng, những nghệ sĩ ve đang hòa tấu thành một dàn đồng ca mùa hạ. Trên cao, những cây phượng thỉnh thoảng lại tạo thành một khúc nhạc hay nhờ gió. Hai thứ âm thanh đó hòa lại với nhau, tạo thành một âm thanh du dương, khi trầm khi bỗng rất êm tai. Dưới tán lá xanh tươi, những chú ve giấu mình và đang mải miết trình diễn các tiết mục của mình cho mùa hè yên tĩnh trở nên rực rỡ sắc màu. Cả sân trường như ngập tràn tiếng ve ngân. Những nhạc sĩ ve dùng các bản nhạc của mình để đánh thức những nụ hoa phượng còn e thẹn giấu mình dưới tán lá xanh non cùng khoe sắc và hòa vào không khí rộn ràng trên hàng hoa phượng vĩ. Hàng phượng vĩ và tiếng ve như những người bạn thân của màu hè, chúng cùng làm nỗi bật vẽ đẹp của nhau.

Tiếng ve kêu: "Ve...Ve...Ve...", âm thanh báo hiệu mùa hè đã đến. Hoa phượng vĩ khoe sắc cho chúng em biết rằng sắp được nghĩ hè. Mùa hè nhờ có hoa phượng và tiếng ve nên thật rộn ràng, rực rỡ tươi thắm. Hoa phượng và tiếng ve là những người bạn thân thiết với tuổi học trò chúng em.
