When I was in High school, my favorite subject was Literature. Most friends of mine used to fall asleep in the class because they felt the subject was boring and old-fashioned. However, my eyes were widened and I felt excited as the Literature class has started. I thought the subject was leading me to the new world that I had never experienced before in my life.

Through the reading of variety genre of the Literature, I could feel my ancestor's life and culture in the specific era. Especially in old poem, I noticed their values such as loyalty to the nation, religious attitudes influenced by shamanism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Moreover, people started to write an essay which is more narrative and descriptive based on their usual life. Through the reading, I could feel their sorrow, happiness and depicted love of nature and man. For me, it was fascinated to find out someone's feeling through out the short piece of the Literature.

As well as reading and analyzing others' masterpieces, my teacher, Mrs. Huyen asked us to create some of the writing based on the characters of the Literature that we learned in the class. Sometime, I pretended to be a soldier who was filled with loyalty towards the Kingdom and described my emotions in the short poem. In addition, she made us to write a love letter to the main characters in the Literature. At the first time, students including me complained to the teacher because we were not familiar with the work. However, through the writing processing, I learned and practiced how to imagine other people's status and emotions.

Reading and writing process in Literature subject was one of my communication way to the world and history. I could access to various styles of Literature in different ages from old times to the modern ages. It always refreshed my thoughts and feelings during the school years.

Math (toán)
Among many subjects student learns in school, I math the most. This is one of the compulsory subjects from primary to high school ad even university. Math teaches learner about numbers and operation. Being good at math brings us several advantages. Doing math exercise improves one’s brain and its brainstorm. Moreover, people learning math can think more logically and make up one mind. There are many subjects we can apply mathemas to solve the problem: economics, engineering and even business. Math is said to originate from ancient Greece and develop completely as today. In VN it’s an increasing number of mathemaal genius such as Ngo Bao Chau. Therefore, Vietnamese are very proud of it. In my opinion, every student should be good at math or at least learn it. Since human gain lots of achievement related to math, specifically in modern society.

Literature (Văn)
When going to school, there are many subjects; however I still literature the most. First, literature plays an important role in both education and daily life. Literature is not limit to a subject to be learnt at school. Furthermore, this subject teaches human about several aspects of life. From the very first step, student learns to write, read as well as describe things and people. Moreover, literature teaches one to be a responsible citizen and able personality. Literature is more than a subject, it’s an art and it can be applied directly into life such as: journalism, writing skill. People are not born to learn this unique subject, it needs long time to exercise to master. Besides, when learning literature people not only know more works of art but also understand culture, tradition of each country. Literature is the mirror reflecting human and their lifestyle. Studying literature means learning the way to love and live a true life. All in all, with great benefits of literature, it is necessary for each society especially developing countries.

Everyday, we have to go to school and everyday, we have to learn many subjects at school. There are many subjects, such as: Math, Literature, Biology, English, History,... In each subject, we learn about each topic. For example, in Math, we learn about numbers and how to caculate them; in English, we are taught grammar and vocab in English; in Biology, we learn about plants, animals, and even our body. Of course, we have our own favorite subject. To me, I like Math most because of its suitability and maybe its complication. I have Math four times week, in Mon, Tue, Thu, and Sat. Okay, my paragraph will stop here, thanks for reading.

My absolute favorite subject in school is art. The reason why art is my favorite subject is because it can bring out your feelings.
For example, if I were happy, I would draw a happy, colorful picture. I usually am happy and random so I do draw warm pictures.
The kind of art that I enjoy the most and I am best at is pastel. I just love rubbing my fingers on that dusty crayon and making beautiful blends with a rainbow of colors.
As a matter of fact, I drew some lovely pastels last weekend. In college, I would very much love to study some kind of art or box making class.
Someday I am going to be a famous artist and also going to sell my creations on popular Web sites.

English is my favourite subject. English is not difficult to learn, you just need to work hard to gain good results. It’s the fact that English is the most common language spoken in the world, and studying it brings me lots of opportunities. First of all, being good at English, I can talk with foreign people and tourists, which expand my knowledge about each culture in the world. Besides, English documents provides a more accurate and original source of information. As a result, reading them, I can gain a deep knowledge in any field such as science, economics,… Furthermore, I can watch films, read news in English without subtitle. In the future, after graduating, with English skill, I can join international organizations or multi-national corporations and have a good career. It’s also a common sense that people who know English will have a higher salary than the others with a same job. I want to go abroad to study as well so English is necessary. In conclusion, English is an interesting subject and quite important for my future.

The subject I like best in school is geography and the subject I hate is arithmetic. Even from my younger day, I have been longing to know more about other countries and the people who live there.

Geography teaches me not only about my own country but also the neighouring countries and the world in general. From what I have studied, I have a longing to see London, Paris, New-York and Tokyo. I have heard much about Mount Fujiyama, the snow-capped mountain of Japan. I also want to see Japan during the cherryblossom season. I want to see New-York and its sky-scrapers.

Geography interests me because without visiting these places I learn about them in books. For pupils like me who are poor and cannot afford to visit these places, the knowledge of geography is all the most useful. It is perhaps the second best means of knowing more about other countries.( môn địa lý  nhé)Các chủ đề tôi thích nhất ở trường là vị trí địa lý và là chủ đề tôi ghét là số học .
