Talk about a famous place that you like most
One of the most interesting places I have ever come to was Hoi An ancient town. Located in Quang Nam, a central region of Vietnam. This place attracts hordes of tourists every year to come and enjoy the wonderful time in Hoi An.
I went to Hoi An about 5 years ago when I graduated from university. At that time, I never thought I could have a wonderful experience here. Hoi An is really a holiday destination for everyone who loves the breathtaking view and the atmosphere. Every house in Hoi An left me with some memories of the past and also reminded everyone of how prosperous the town had.
I visited Hoi An ancient town because I was craving for sampling the local food in here. The cuisine of the central region was so different from other regions. Although I and my buddies had initially planned on which places to visit, I always ended up going off the beaten track there were too many interesting places to explore. The weather was also a factor that made me love this place much. I believed the cool weather of Hoi An would dispel the heat of summer in the southern area.
I really enjoyed my time in Hoi An ancient town. It was a one-of-a-kind experience, and if I have enough money, I will gladly have another trip back to this town.

Dear [..........],
I hope this email finds you in good health and high spirits. It has been a while since we last corresponded, and I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you the wonders of my beloved city, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I am confident that it will captivate your senses and leave you with unforgettable memories.
Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, is a bustling metropolis that harmoniously blends tradition and modernity. It is the largest city in Vietnam and a vibrant hub of culture, history, and excitement. The city is home to a remarkable array of places of interest that I am eager to introduce to you.
One of the must-visit places in Ho Chi Minh City is the iconic Ben Thanh Market. It is not only a bustling marketplace where you can find an array of local products, but it is also a cultural symbol of the city. Be prepared to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and indulge in delicious street food while bargaining for unique souvenirs.
Another notable landmark is the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, a testament to the resilience and ingenuity of the Vietnamese people during the Vietnam War. These intricate underground tunnels served as a strategic base during the conflict and are now open to visitors. Exploring the tunnels will give you a glimpse into the country's rich history and the challenges faced by its people.
Ho Chi Minh City is also famous for its stunning architecture, with the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office being prime examples. These magnificent structures are a testament to the city's colonial past and are a must-see for any visitor.
To fully experience the charm and energy of Ho Chi Minh City, I would highly recommend exploring its vibrant street life. Take a stroll around the bustling streets of District 1, where you can find an array of trendy cafes, local eateries, and stylish boutiques. The city comes alive at night, with bustling night markets and a vibrant nightlife scene that offers something for everyone.
Now, onto the exciting part! I would like to extend a warm invitation for you to visit Ho Chi Minh City. I believe that experiencing the city firsthand would provide you with a unique perspective and a truly enriching cultural experience. I am eager to show you around and introduce you to the local cuisine, traditions, and hidden gems.
To make your visit more convenient, I would suggest planning your trip during the dry season from December to April. The weather during this time is pleasant and ideal for exploring the city's attractions.
Getting around Ho Chi Minh City is relatively easy. One popular mode of transportation is the motorbike taxis, known as "xe om," which can quickly navigate through the city's bustling streets. Grab and other ride-hailing apps are also widely available and offer a convenient and affordable way to move around the city.
I hope this email has sparked your curiosity and ignited a desire to explore Ho Chi Minh City. I am eagerly awaiting your visit and cannot wait to share the beauty and charm of my city with you.
Please let me know when you plan to come, and I will be more than happy to assist you with any further information or arrangements.
Wishing you all the best and looking forward to your visit!
Warm regards,
Vo Tai Minh Vy

Topic 1: Talk about whether you to be famous?
A person's fame won't help people, but the works speak more louder than anything.
I would to be famous for the following below:
if I happen to publish any book in near future, I would love it to gain favourable response and hope that somewhere it truly helps the readers and connect to their souls.
Or even the actions towards my parents, brother and friends, I would them to remember my genuine feelings towards them.
Or if I get a good chance to volunteer in some place who really needs help or even as a part of my future career if I get to do that, I would definitely want the action to be well known, so that more and more people can take part in it and help out.
Topic 2: Describe the appearance of one of your family members?
The person in my family I really and also love is my mother. She is a very special person and I cannot imagine what I would be without her.
Physically, my mother is petite. She is only about 5 feet tall, and weighs about 110 pounds. She has fine, black hair and a fair complexion. One thing people often noe is that my mother always takes pride in her appearance. Even now, at the age of 80, my mother is a well dressed, well-groomed and elegant woman, with her fine choice of clothes and matching accessories, jewelry and shoes.
Intellectually, my mother always loves learning. Even after her busy day, she won't go to bed without reading the newspaper. She was one of the few members of her family that completed university. She also has many creative and cultural interests such as literature, music and dance. Through her own enjoyment, she passed on this love of culture to all her children, including me.
Emotionally, my mother has a heart of gold. All her life, she has been ready, willing and able to help anyone who needs anything, with a smile on her face. She is of the old school - she remembers to wish friends and relatives on their birthdays and anniversaries, she attends their weddings, dinners and parties, and she visits them when they're hurt, unwell or in mourning. In fact, my mother has always been a kind soul and people of all ages love her as soon as they meet her. I think this is because she is good-hearted from her core, and her authenity is what everyone relates to. She has taught me the meaning of being compassionate, loving, kind, helpful, supportive and so much more. In fact, thanks to the unconditional love of both my wonderful parents, I feel I've been truly blessed in this lifetime.
Topic 3: What is a fun weekend for you?
If the weekends are along with a holiday, even small trips could be planned well in advance.
The idea of a fun weekend could differ from person to person. Well according to me, the idea of a fun weekend would be something spending some quality time with family and friends, and enjoy all that I could do. Since we would be having two days off, I have plenty of time to enjoy around and have fun.
I would love to play outdoor games with my friends all through the day and have lots of fun and enjoyment with them on one day. By evening, maybe I could I spent some time with my family, go out with them and enjoy a good dinner. On the second day, maybe we could go out, spend time again playing games, visiting friends and family and spending some time over their place. Apart from these, I also going for small vacations with my family or small trips along with my friends. This gives lots of enjoyment and fun and would definitely rejuvenate me for the coming week to focus more in my studies and school activities.
Activities for weekends could be planned well in advance in some cases and we have also done it. Short trips, family get together were all planned well ahead of time and we did have great fun during those times too.
Topic 4: Talk about a beautiful place you've been to.
This cue card instantly reminds me of a mountainous city names Da Lat, my all-time favorite city that I have visited and will always willing to revisit again. It is located in the southern parts of the Central Highlands region in Vietnam. It is a famous tourist destination, offering lots and lots of hidden gems which give you a whale of a time exploring the city.
It’s not very difficult to travel to Da Lat. From Saigon, you can drive there yourself or going by bus, it will take approximately 8 hours to get there. If you’re not patient or is someone who’s not fond of driving, you can fly to Bao Loc then catch an 1-hour-drive bus to get to Da Lat. It is becoming easier and easier to travel to Da Lat with all the new and upgraded road. However, during the raining season, it can get very dangerous.
There are so many activities which can cater any needs of tourists. If you are into shopping, there are lots of shops and merchants in the central market of the city. If you look for tranquility, there are roads and corners and beautiful pavement café for you to get around enjoy the quietness. And if you you love adventure, there are hiking trails and mountains for you too.
I have always been a mountain guy so I am in love with this city mostly because of its weather and the landscape. There is nothing more satisfying than waking up in the morning and see the view of mountain range and the birds chirping. Its slow pace of life is also the reason for me to love the city so much.

Last summer, my family and I had a trip to Dalat, which was dubbed as the land of fog. We came to Da Lat by bus because we wanted to visit the scenery along the way. Dalat appeared as a city in the clouds, and we spent all our time here to visit famous places. We visited Bao Dai Palace - the residence of the last king of the Nguyen Dynasty with his family. The whole architecture was is European style, and there were a lot of beautiful flowers which were planted around the Palace. The ground floor was the place for meetings, banquets, greeting foreign guests and government officials. Bao Dai's office, library, games room were also located there. In the office there was a huge portrait of King Bao Dai and Prince Bao Long - who was chosen as the successor of the throne. The entire second floor was the resting place of the royal family, including bedrooms of the king, queen, and their children. There was also a place for the king and queen to watch the moon called the Moon Tower. The next place that we visited was Mount Langbiang, where there was a legend about a love story between a girl called Biang and her lover Lang. Their love was forbidden by their families, so they chose to die in order to stay together forever. Next, we were brought to the top of the Radar hill by a Jeep; from the top of the hill we can see Dalat from above through a dim layer of fog. In the distance were the Golden and Silver streams, and they were like two strips of silk that ran across the forest. After 3 days of exploring Dalat, we finally had to go back home. The clouds and fog in the city still lingered in my mind, and I could not wait for my next visit to Da Lat.

=> The most beautiful city in Vietnam? This is a difficult question, as each place has it's charm. I think Nha Trang is the most interesting city. Nha Trang is one of the 29 most beautiful sea bays in the World. It is a clean and beautiful beach with blue water and white sand. In the city center, the life is very busy. There are a lot of busy streets with shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets,…Besides, there’re some quiet and dreamy streets. The possibly most beautiful street of Nha Trang is Tran Phu Street along the seaside. You can walk along the street to relax after hard day at work. I usualy go around the city with my friends, ex: going out and eating, drinking, listening... Nha Trang city is also a place, which attracts many foreigners from other countries.Although I go away, Nha Trang is always in my heart forever.
