* Những thuận lợi và khó khăn  đối với sự phát triển kinh  tế-xã hội của vùng biển nước ta:

+ Tài nguyên sinh vật ( cá, tôm, cua, rong biển…) là cơ sở  để phát triển ngành đánh bắt hải sản.

+ Tài nguyên khoáng sản ( dầu khí, titan…) là cơ sở  để phát triển ngành khai khoáng.

+ Bờ biển: Các bãi biển đẹp, vũng, vịnh là cơ sở cho ngành du lịch, xây dựng hải cảng.

– Khó khăn:

+  Bão, nước biển dâng…gây thiệt hại nhiều cho kinh  tế và đời sống của nhân dân.

+ Hằng năm có nhiều cơn bão đổ bộ  vào nước ta, gây nhiều thiệt hại về người  và của.

* Muốn khai thác bền vững vùng biển Việt Nam, chúng ta cần phải có kế hoạch khai thác và bảo vệ vùng biển tốt hơn. Ví dụ: phát triển đánh bắt xa bờ, cấm đánh bắt có tính huỷ diệt, chống ô nhiễm môi trường biển…
