There are a lot of volunteer activities in Des Moines. One of my favorites is Meals from the Heartland. Meals from the Heartland allows volunteers to pack meals for the needy. Each shift is only 2 hours long. However, I always want to stay longer because it's fun to help people. These meals then will be shipped out to the needy ones in the city, in different states, and around the world. Meals from the Heartland is one of many fun and helpful volunteer activities in Des Moines. 

Being a summer volunteer is one of the good things we can do in our student time. Instead of wasting our time playing games or wandering with our friends, we can join the Blue Summer campaign at schools. By doing so, we can become young volunteers to help people who are in need. I always remember last summer when our volunteer team had been to a poor countryside. That place even lacked of clean water and electricity, while in many other places people are wasting them. After a day of resting, we started to clean up the old school together, attended in the project of reconstructing a number of local bridges which funded by donors. We lived in some of the houses of the local people, and we spent time doing house chores, playing, and eating together. Although their lives are lacking of materials, their hearts are full of love and kindness. We helped them with our strength and the ebullient spirit of youth, and in return they took care of us so we could be safe and happy while we were away from home. After a month and a half, we successfully restored an old school and one bridge, and we built one more small new bridge. These things really helped children at that place had a better educational environment, and people had an easier road to go to work. Local people were very excited with those new constructions, and we promised to come back next summer to bring better things. When the volunteer trip ended, my parents were very happy when I came back home safely. I felt so proud of myself because I could prove that I was a mature person by helping other people. Summer is coming soon, and I cannot wait to be on my next volunteer trip together with my friends.

     We have done some volunteer works such as donate clothes and money for poor and sick children. We want to do it because they will be very happy when they receive the gifts. They will have clothes to wear in the winter. They can be cured and go to school with our money. We have made decorations and postcards, then sell them to get money.  The actress that I am most impressed with is Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc. In my eyes she is the type of independent woman. Lan Ngoc is 30 years old, but she is always young. She is becoming more and more beautiful and seductive. She has participated in many films in the past but is not known by the audience. In recent years, Lan Ngoc has released the movie “Very old girl”. This is the movie in which she plays the female lead. It has helped the actress receive many prestigious awards and have more fans. With the achievements that Lan Ngoc currently has, along with her talent, she will definitely develop more in the future.

Habitat is a global concern. Environmental pollution and the harmful effects it has on the lives of more and more severe. So to protect the green environment - clean - beautiful is the task of all of all people.

Everyone knows that the environment has a great significance and is extremely important. Environment is the atmosphere, the food, the ecological balance is guaranteed for the life of man. Familiar surroundings and close to us as friends is indispensable in life. But for the immediate interests, man has mistreated the environment, even deliberately damage the environment without knowing that doing so is self-destructive life of his own.

Deforestation, littering, waste water discharge, waste of prescribed occupations of factories and enterprises ... are the cause of serious environmental pollution, directly affecting the lives of children cool. Earth's climate is heating up in an unusual way, and more and more extreme is the cause of natural disasters such as storms, tsunamis, landslides mountains, flash floods, mudslides, droughts ... increasingly intense happening around the world, leaving the terrible harm of incalculable wealth and lives. It is a frightening fact that everyone knows by means of modern tradition.

Mankind must do this in order to save the environment?. There are many solutions, but the problem is still the leading educational advocacy to raise awareness about the importance of the environment and the sense of responsibility of each citizen before the community. Firstly, we must preserve the surrounding environment for clean, not littering the streets, the public places. This small but not easy, to practice the self-consciousness often. The factories have been relocated job away from residential areas. The exhaust fumes, waste water, waste must be checked regularly and continuously prescribed. If factories profession intentional violation, the State must treat very severe punishment, or even revoke operating licenses or prosecution under the law. Besides prohibiting deforestation story is about reforestation must be done regularly and continuously to greening barren hills, maintaining green lungs for the Earth, creating the ecological balance of the environment.

In schools, students at all levels must be educated about the awareness of protecting the environment through participation forms such as examinations to learn the environment, join the voluntary protection of the environment ... to get the basic understanding and self-awareness that accumulated from the creation of green living environment - clean - beautiful.

Protecting the environment is not reserved for a preordained mission. The state should strengthen the inspection team, regular monitoring in public places, the craft to remind park, stop in time (time) acts, environmental vandalism. The term community service refers to a donated activity or service carried out by a person or a group of people for the benefit and well being of the general public. Individuals who offer community service are known as volunteers. However, those are required to do so by the school, the government or a court cannot be termed as volunteers, since they are not doing the service out of their own will. People are involved in community service for different reasons and it is up to the individual to realize if it is worthwhile and why they are helping others. This article looks into some of the main beneficial aspects of community service.

Community service and volunteer work are great things to add to your résumé.  This is especially true if you don’t have a lot of paid job experience.  There are a couple of different ways to use community service and volunteer work on your résumé.  How you use it depends on how much time you spent with the volunteer organizations.

Some people meet their community service requirements by spending a few hours or a few days volunteering with a lot of different places.  If you did this, you should just include a list of all the places you volunteered in a basic ‘volunteer experience’ section of your résumé. This lets you show all the places you have volunteered, but doesn’t give information on what you did there.

If you volunteered with one place for a longer period of time, you can include a more expanded volunteer section of your résumé. If you use this option, you can show how long you volunteered with the agency and what kind of work you did there.  This section looks a lot like a normal ‘work experience’ section, but lists only your unpaid work. This will show what you learned and accomplished through your community service.

As all we know, energy is a limited source. So, if we want to continue living on the Earth, we have to do any ways to save energy. However, some people claim that it is unnecessary. Thus, in this essay , I will show some of the typical benefits of saving energy.

The first benefit of saving energy is that reducing bills. Saving money is an obvious advantage of cutting energy use.
