Road to Olympia is a knowledge contest on television for high school students by VTV3 - Vietnam Television organized, under the sponsorship of the company LG. This annual contest began organizing began in 1999, and the program has the longest lifespan of the TV game show's VTV3. In which every year 36 contests Week, May 12 contest, 4 contests the final quarter and the first to be broadcast live on VTV3. The program is currently recording the 17th year. There are a lot of famous, talented actors and actress in the world, but my favourite who I like and admire is Tom Hanks. He’s well known all over the world.
He was born in 9th July 1956 in Concord, California. Nowadays he’s one of the greatest and bright Hollywood’s stars. Maybe he isn’t as handsome as Brad Pitt or Leonardo Di Caprio, doesn’t have the body as Arnold Schwarzenegger. He can’t fly on the motorbike as well as Pierce Brosnan, He can’t even use gun as smoothly as Antonio Banderas. But He has got something in his look, that makes you sit on the chair without motion in the cinema when he acts.
Tom Hanks plays in his films the kind of nice guy we roof for, not the kind of guy we want to boo off the big screen. He can play everything: hero, castaway, romantic lead and now a street dull- witted guy in love with his childhood playmate. He has played so many memorable roles that it is hard to nail down one part as his most memorable. We should remember him from the films „Philadelphia”, „Forest Gump”, „Cast Away”, „The Green Mile”, „Saving Private Ryan”, „You’ve Got Mail”, „Apollo 13”, „Sleepless In Seattle”. He’s also lent his voice to the computer animated blockbusters „Toy Story” and „Toy story 2”.
He won his first Oscar in 1994 for his moving portrayal of AIDS-stricken lawyer Andrew Beckert in Johnatan Demme’s film entitled „Philadelphia”. The following year he took home his second Oscar for his unforgettable performance in the title role of Robert Zemeckis’ film „Forest Gump”. He also won Golden Globe Awards for both films. Tom Hanks more recently garnered Academy Awards, Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations for his work in Steven Spielberg’s film „Saving Private Ryan” and the last year he won a Golden Globe Award and garnered his 5th Oscar nomination for his role in „Cast Away.”
Tom Hanks isn’t a prima donna in the way Val Kilmer is. He’s a class act in a world that often lacks it. Sure the power that he has now can get to his head sometimes, but in the some position we’d do the same. In my opinion Tom Hanks is the kind of guy you want to have as a close friend, besides he’s a very good actor and his films are never boring.

My favourite programme is To and Jerry.It ia on Disney Channel.It is start at 8:00p.m every envening.It is about a little mouse called Jerry and cat called Tom.Tom is very stupid and clumsybut Jerry is very clever Athought from time to time find ways to catchJerry but Tom was always losing.BecauseTom so stupid should always getting everything back.It can both educate and entertain.I love programme Tom and Jerry.I think children should watch this programme in my free time.

My favourite TV programme is cartoon "Tom and Jerry". It is on HTVT3 on at five o`clock every day. It is about the life between a cat and a mouse. I like the cartoon becausssse it is funny and entertaining.

This’s my favorite film because it deals with all real life problems with al important things in real life such as: relationships, love, and the most important thing is about your true friends. “A Walk To Remember” film is talking about a beautiful girl named Jamie ( most people call her – Mandy Moore) who’s the only daughter of a minister, and she has some problem with her health. During time in her high school, Jamie does not have many close friends. Through some activities she meets a handsome reckless boy called Landon. This handsome – Landon got into trouble which made him joy in a play for the shool’s drama club. Landon has a role in a same play that Jamie do. And after the play, they become close friens, and Jamie get him out all of the troubles. One day, she told Landon was for him to promise that he would not fall in love with her. He didn’t keep that promise. Finally, Jamie told Landon about her cancer and there is no effective treatment. She doesnn’t have lot od time to live. Jamie listed all accomplisments that she really wanted to do before she passed away. One of those things is to get married at the same small church that her father and mother was. Landon helped to make all of her wishes come true. However, unfortunitally her cancer got worse and she died in his regret. I would like to ntroduce this touching movie to all of you, and it make me become a sweet person like me today!

The film I like best is "Boy Hood". It's a school life film with the acting of Karry,Roy and Jackson.It's about school life and basketball competition between the two schools.The film is very gripping and hilarious.It has a sad ending.The acting of the character is natural and excellent.The music,which is really suitable for this film and interesting with a fun rhythm.The visuals are beautiful with a lot of beautiful sceneries.critics say that it is one of the best film with gripping and hilarious scenes.It also includes a meaningful message for the young.And,I think that is one of the best films I have ever-seen.It's a must see film for everybody

The news programs shown on all TV channels at 7:00 p.m. help me to know almost everything about different places in our country and important events happening all over the world. Through these programs, I can also know about the main national and international sporting events.

You can play football every where if you just have a ball with the right size. Not only men play football but also women can play. When World cup took place, a large number of millions people watched it on TV and saw it directly. Now there are many football club in each country, even district, school in the world. In the football today there are much more money involved, especially in sponsors. But player also cost a lot, There are many players as C.Ronaldo, Beckham, Zidane who cost over 50 million euro, even over 100 million euro. Many big and famous club have large stadiums with alot of fan in all over the world. They can get a great number of billion US dollar from broadcasting copywrite every year and a big avenue from sponsors and advertising. That prove the attration of football. To me, I like football because it's a useful, healthful, collective but competitive sport. I like overenthusiastic air on stadium on each match. Anyways football always is the most favorite sport of mine.

House is the place to stay together with part of our family. A good house is the house that makes the dweller fells so comfortable. My dream house is the house that has complete facility and wide garden. I want to try my best to get my dream house in my future later on.

Actually, my dream house is so simple to make if I have a lot of money. Because I ‘m Balinese, I will build my house use Bali style because I am proud as Balinese, it means I respect Bali culture as my culture. In the first floor of my house I want to have six bedrooms, one bedroom for my parents, one bedroom for me, and the other bedroom for my children later on. In every bedroom I want to have complete furniture and facilities such as there are bathrooms, table, chair, television, etc. In every bathroom there are complete facilities such as shower, the thing that use to organize temperature of the water so that I enjoy when take a bath. In the kitchen of my house I want to have complete facilities such as refrigerator to put the foods, vegetable, meat, eggs, cold drink, etc, the stove to cook everyday and the other facility.

In the second floor of my house I will make a big living room, the purpose just as a place together with part of my family. In every side of the second floor there are many windows, the purpose just so that I can enjoy the view from the second floor. In the right side of my house I will make a wide garden filled with complete kind of fruits. Behind of my house I will make swimming pool and small football yard. Because my hobby is playing football I will use that yard to play football together with my friends after work, my life cannot be separated from football. If we already get a lot of sweet we will swim together. Have you ever imagined to have your dream house? I think you will enjoy your daily activity at home and that is like heaven of world. I know to make my dream house will not be easy for me because it needs a lot of money , to get a lot of money the first thing that should I do is I must be successful. I want to make my family, friends, and the other that I love proud to me.

“Home sweet home” is a word that really could express your feeling to have such a great house. My dream house is the house that makes me and my family feels comfortable; enjoy the situation, and safe. Although just small house it can be my dream house for me because the most important things for me is togetherness with part of my family. Luxury house is not always comfortable for me.

 As you know, there are many TV programmes now and each TV programe is very great. But the TV programe I best is The Voice Kids. It's a programe about kid's talent about music. A lot of lovely kids of many ages join this competition. I can watch them dance and perform. I can also listen their beautiful voices. It's so interesting! Beside that, the teachers of them who teach the kids how to sing more beautifully, how to perform more wonderfully are very good at music,too. I think their teachers always learn their students with their heart. When I watch this TV programe, I feel relax after a hard studying and working at school. We can watch The Voice Kids on VTV3 every week. I love the talent of the kids so much! How about you? What TV programe do you best?

Olympia is one of my favorite TV show. This is a television knowledge contest for high school students. It is always shown on VTV 3 at 13 o'clock every Sunday. Candidates are the best students in the country. MC is quite charming and beautiful lady. The program also has a team of consultants who are experienced teachers. In the program, there are 4 competitions, which in turn is the start, the obstacle, accelerate and the goal. Every competition is very interesting and exciting, it requires students not only knowledge from books but also social knowledge. Contestants do not only have knowledge but also must have both brave and self-confidence. The students, parents go cheer for the contestants are very enthusias. In the contestants, competitor that I most is Lam Vu Tuan, he is very talented and funny. My biggest dream is to study well and paripate in the program compete for knowledge.

I very watching cartoons. And of all the film I have seen, “Grave of the fireflies” is one in the cartoons which I most. In Vietnamese it’s called is “Căn hầm đom đóm” or “Mộ đom đóm”. It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. It’s written as a apologize to his sister. With Japanese, this film is understaned as a fable about the respect. Film is been in historical background at the end of the seconds world war from Japan. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphaneds : Seita and Setsuko. They lost mother after a fierce bombing of American air force to Kobe city while their father combat for Japanese navy. So Seita and Setsuko must to struggle to exist between the famine and the resistance to merciless of surrounding people (that have their kinship). They have to live in a shelter-pit and often eat frogs and lizards. At the end, Setsuko have to die for hunger, pictures depict painfulness and the death of little girl can be considered as the most mournful film pictures in the cartoon Japan history. When everybody, who had seen this film are asked, most of them said they cried, and that have me.

My favourite leisure activity is reading. I like reading because it is a hobby that is useful and interesting: useful because you can find a lot of knowledge of all areas that you need; interesting because the books can give you the joy and help you relax after a day of toil etc... Especially, when you join the forum, you can meet a lot of people who have interests similar to yours, comment on the books or novels that interest you.

I love books and also natural as reading books. At the age of ten, I was awarded "The Scarlet Sails" of Alexandre Green by my grandfather. It is the first of book that I have been. I read it does not know how many times (Up to now, I still love it and occasionally read it again). My love for books begun.

I usually spend almost of free time in choosing the book with my friends, participate in dicussion on the forum and reading (of course!). Every weekend and all holidays when I have no work to do, I often read books and ruminate on it. I also help some friends can select the genres of books that they like.

I always hope that I will have my own library in my future. I love books very much and perhaps, I couldn't live without them.

I have many hobbies, but I like reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabularies by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tell me about the world's history, let me see the structure of the brain, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activity.
