IV.  Viết câu dạng phủ định với HAVE . ( Haven’t got / don’t have / doesn’t have / didn’t have)

Ví dụ:  I can't get into the house (a key)  I haven't got a key.

Ví dụ:  I couldn't read the letter, (my glasses)  I didn't have my glasses.

Động từ tiếng Anh được chia theo thì và thể, và hợp (agreement) với đại từ ngôi số ba số ít. Chỉ động từ to be vẫn phải hợp với đại từ ngôi thứ nhất và thứ hai số nhiều. Trợ động từ như have và be đi kèm với động từ ở dạng hoàn thành và tiếp diễn. Trợ động từ khác với động từ thường ở chỗ từ not (chỉ sự phủ định) có thể đi ngay sau chúng (ví dụ, have not và do not), và chúng có thể đứng đầu trong câu nghi vấn.
