Ao Dai the a traditional dress of Vietnam. It is one of the symbols of Vietnam. When one hears about Vietnam, the word “Ao Dai” will most probably be mentioned.

Early versions of the “Ao Dai” date back to 1744 when Lord Vu Vuong of the Nguyen Dynasty decided both men and women should wear an outfit of pants and a gown that buttoned down the front. What wasn’t, until 1930 that “Ao Dai”appear similar to what it looks today. Now, Men wear it less, generally only on ceremonial occasions such as weddings or funerals. During the 1950s two tailors in Saigon started producing “Ao Dai”with raglan sleeves. This creates a diagonal seam running from the collar to the underarm. This style is still preferred today

“Ao Dai”is made individually to fit each customer's shape to create the most flasttering look. Its body-hugging top flows over wide trousers that brush the floor. The pants should reach the soles of the feet and flow along the floor. Splits in the gown extend well above waist height and make it comfortable and easy to move in.

Comfortability is always taken into account for fashions and beauty. Tailors must be skills so as to ensure the wearer has freedom of movement. Despite it being a long robe, “Ao Dai” is cool to wear. Synthetic or silk fabrics are best to use being they do not crush and dry quickly. For this reason “Ao Dai” is a practical uniform for daily wear.

The color can show the wearer's age and status. Young girls wear pure white, fully-lined outfits symbolizing their purity. Older but unmarried girls move into soft pastel shades. Only married women wear “Ao Dai”in strong, rich colors, usually over white or black pants. “Ao Dai”is rarely seen in places where manual work is practiced. In the nineties the Ao dai become popular again. It has become standard and common attire for female students as well and staff at offices and hotels. Ao dai nowadays is very popular with different designs and colors. “Ao Dai”has become the most preferred dress for formal occasions and traditionally ceremonies.

I have many hobbies, such as, playing football, game online and swimming. However, my favourite is reading manga, a kind of Japanese comic. Whenever i have spare time, i would like to lie on my bed and enjoy thrilling and interesting adventures described through beautiful pictures. Moreover, reading these books makes me feel comfortable and relaxed after a hard-working day in my university. Finally, sometimes, they make me think about life's lessons of love, friendship and family by touching stories , which is the main reason why i like this kind of books.

In my daily life, I have several hobbies such as cooking, surfing, listening to music and so on. However, I like reading books the most for some reasons. Firstly, reading makes me feel comfortable after many long stressful hours at school. I actually like comic books because they contain lots of colorful and interesting images that keep my spirit relax. Secondly, reading books provides me a great deal of diverse knowledge of many fields. For instance, I can know more specific culture of each country in The World’s Cultures book. In addition, I can know more things about different life of various animals that are living around the world in the Discovery of Animals World book. Finally, reading helps to enhance my vocabulary in both Vietnamese and English language. In Vietnamese book, I can learn many traditional folks or proverbs that help me understand more deeply the beauty of my mother tongue. About English books, I can improve my English reading comprehension skill in study. Besides, my communication skill with the foreigners will be better, too. In conclusion, I really like reading books, for it brings many good things to me. I see it as an useful activity to learn how to make life more meaningful and beautiful.

2.I agree with idea advanced technology will help students greatly in studying by themselves at home. Firstly, studying at home will help us save so much money. We don’t have to buy so many books and school supplies. It will help us save time and energy too because we don’t have to spend much time on travelling to school. Secondly, you can see there is a lot of traffic on the way especially in rush hours. There are always accidents on the road. Studying at home will help us avoid dangers on the way to school and make traffic less heavy. In addition, we can search for information easily and quickly with a tablet. It’s very convenient. It helps us to save time and we can finish our projects quicker and make them more informative. In conclusion, I think advanced technology really helps us in studying and it brings us more joy in learning new knowledge.

3.I disagree with this statement.Modern technology is mostly seen as blessing for learners. It made learning easier .The internet can provide you with ìnformation in any field, you can easily find that online .Students who are using technology now will find it easy to complete in the future. But the availability of all types of information online ,many students are  becoming lazy. Some students even do not attend classes, they think that teachers are no longer nesessary

One of the most important festivals in my country as well as other Asian countries is Tet, the Lunar New Year Festival. This festival celebrates the beginning of a new year according to lunar calendar, which is around late January or early February. There are three main stages in this festival. Before the New Year's Eve, family members clean and decorate their house with kumquat and peach trees. They also shop for new clothes to wear on the occasion as well as a lot of food for family gatherings. On New Year's Eve, a big meal is prepared to welcome the very first moments of another year with family and friends. People eat, drink and sing cheerfully until the morning. It is our tradition that on the first three days, people visit their relatives and teachers. This is my favorite festival because it is the only occasion when all of my family members gather after a busy year. Besides, during Tet, I can completely relax and forget all about the troubles of the previous year. Lunar New Year has such significance in my country because we believe that, whatever happens during the first days will be repeated throughout the year. So, in order to have a new year full of good lucks, we have to prepare carefully for the most enjoyable festival.

Today I’m going to tell you about one of the biggest, oldest traditional festival and has the widest popular range in Vietnam, which is Tet Holiday.Tet marks (=celebrates) the arrival of spring and is the most important celebration in Vietnamese culture and it has the date falling in (which falls in) = takes place around late January or early February according to the Lunar Calendar.Tết is also an occasion for family reunions. When Tet comes around the corner, most Vietnamese people return to their families to visit their family members, to worship at the family altar or visit the graves of their ancestors in their homeland as a sign of respect. Many Vietnamese people prepare for Tet by cooking special holiday food which includes giò, xôi, canh măng anh banh chung - an indispensable (= absolutely necessary) dish that is tightly packed sticky with meat and mung beans filling, wrapped in banana leavesTraditionally, every household is decorated by yellow apricot blossoms (hoa mai) in the central and the southern parts of Vietnam; or peach blossoms (hoa đào) in the northern part. Many customs are practiced around Tet. Children often receive a red envelope containing money from their elders after giving them traditional Tet greetings. During Tet days people also visit relatives and friends to wish them all a happy new year. Local pagodas are popular spots as well, as people go there to wish for a better year to come for their families.Tet holiday is the only occasion that people that people start forgetting about the troubles of the past year and hope for a better upcoming year.
