Save Environment

Introduction: Our natural environment and surrounding provides us with everything that we ever need. We get air, water, food, and everything else from the environment.

The term “Saving the environment” refers to the practice involved in saving and protecting the environment ensuring its sustainability.

1. Global warming is a serious environmental issue. The continuous emission of carbon dioxide by thermal power generating units is the leading cause for the surge in greenhouse gases.

2. Natural resources are limited. If the natural resources such as oil, coal, etc. are used, one day the world may fall short of these resources.

3. High-level of environmental pollution is detrimental for human and animal health.

4. Forests are fast depleting. It may cause soil erosion and drought situation.

5. Excessive use of pesticides and contamination of soil have negatively affected soil output. These fruits and vegetables are not very healthy for human health.

1. We should save drinking water. Water is a precious component of our environment. It should never be wasted.

2. We should never pollute water. Efforts should be made in making significant reduction in both domestic and industrial disposal in water bodies.

3. As far as practicable, the waste products should be recycled to make new items. The domestic and industrial garbage should be segregated as recyclable and non-recyclable before being dumped.

4. There should be a zero tolerance policy towards deforestation. Each one of us can contribute towards saving the environment by planting just one tree every-month.

5. We can make donations to NGOs that are engaged in planting trees, or in any-way working towards saving the environment.

6. Safer environmental friendly car and vehicles should be used. For short distances, people should be encouraged to use bicycle in place of motor based vehicles.

Last summer holiday, in order to escape the extreme heat of Danang city, my family and I decided to go to Dalat. We went there by bus.

When we got this mountainous and wonderful city, it was getting dark. We felt very excited because of the nice weather and the fresh air. We stayed in Hoa Hong hotel, a little but comfortable one in the centre of the city.

The next day we went shopping in Hoa Binh market and, caught some fresh air by sitting near the Xuan Huong lake. We had lunch in a nice restaurant near the garden of flowers. The food was delicious and cheap especially the vegetables. In the afternoon, we took a taxi to visit the Valley of the Love. How beautiful it was! The following day was for visiting Prenn Waterfall, the Than Tho lake and the Hills of Pine. Every spot has its own beauty, I could say which is the best. People are friendly and polite, especially young Dalat girls with their pink cheeks.

This wonderful holiday helped us to get rid of worries and trouble and gave us health and enthusiasm to resume work again. It was an interesting and unforgettable holiday.

People on the world all know that our environment now are being polluted seriously. Why does this happen? Because of our awareness! We didn't care to the environment, so we throw rubbish away without any attention. And of course, the river now isn't as fresh as in the past, the air isn't fresh as in the past and the food also isn't as fresh as in the past, too. So, what we have to do to keep our environment be clean now? We have to improve our awareness: we mustn't leave rubbish indiscriminately. We have to propaganda for everyone to know about the importance of the environment. We want to live, we have to protect our environment, protect the Earth, and save our life.

These are some ways in which we can keep our environment clean:

*Don’t litter: Please don’t litter in your society and roads. Set a good example. Use dust bins, it will help in keeping the society clean. If society is plagued by litter then consult with your society members and other authorities in order to organize an awareness camp. Work with them and volunteers to clean the litters.

*Plant trees: We should plant trees in your society or we can also adapt any tree and take care of that. Trees will help in controlling the pollution at least a little bit. Having lots of trees in your society will help you have fresh air for you and your kids, maintain good health, and with a beautiful green society you can inspire others to follow the track and save the city and environment.

*Be eco-friendly: Restore water, use eco-friendly things, do not dump electronic gadgets etc. Be eco-friendly by using bicycle instead of cars that makes a lot of noise and increases pollution.

*Recycle plastic materials: Don’t just throw away the plastic bottles or plates that you have used, but instead use them and recycle it for the betterment of the environment. Plastic takes years to decompose and is hazardous If the plastics are burnt or thrown away. So, recycle plastics.

So, we should keep our environment clean and green for a smell-free, disease-free live. By implementing on it we can reduce pollution, get fresh air, live peaceful life without any problems
