The traffic can be a nightmare for visitors to Viet Nam for the first time. Believe it or not, there are transport rules but people don't seem really interested in following them. Three or four people on one motor bike is a common sight, particularly with the young.
The traffic is worst during the rush hour when everyone is attempting to get to work or get home quickly. Some people ride their motorbikes on the pavement rather than waiting in the traffic jam. The people walking are just as likely to get hit on the pavement as they are crossing the roads at such times. It's crazy. Road users become very impatient, constantly using their horns when there's obviously nowhere to go, even shouting at others to get out of the way. You have to be quite aggressive or you get nowhere.
the most annoying thing about the traffic is the way people use their horns. It's a habit which serves no purpose most of the time. A disturbing trend is the fashion for installing air horns on motorbikes. This is really annoying for other people and sometimes it causes accidents.
And imagine how many people are waiting in the traffic jam, it means how many hours of working and how much gasoline we are wasting. The losses we are suffering may be more than that, the losses of health as breathing the polluted air must be taken into account. Driving motorbike in big cities brings to us zero pleasure and much stress. Bad traffic kills more than one. Of course, there’re the accidents we see and fear, but there’s also a more silent killer: traffic jam that hold up ambulances, patients caught in gridlock often don’t receive the attention they need in time and often die because of it.

It is believed that the number of the people who have died in traffic accidents is much higher than that of the people who have died of cancer or any other disease. In Ho Chi Minh City, the problem of traffic accidents is really serious. The following measures should be taken to reduce the seriousness/to minimize the consequences of this problem.

Firstly, the system of the main streets in Ho Chi Minh City must be improved or upgraded. It is awful to move along the streets of Ho chi Minh City because most of them are in bad condition and some are full of holes, either big or small. In addition, during the rainy season many streets are flooded with water after a heavy rain. If we are not careful enough, we easily hit other people or fall off our bike or motorbike.

Secondly, law-breaking and drunken riders/drivers should be punished strictly. These law-breaking and drunken riders/drivers are the “devils” of the streets: they operate their motor vehicles at a high speed and sway from one side/curb of the street to the other whenever they feel excited. There is no doubt that one of the main reasons of serious traffic accidents is the riders’ or drivers’ carelessness and lack of self-control.

Last but not least, calling for every citizen’s obeying traffic laws is crucial. The cit dwellers’ awareness of the necessity to obey traffic law is quite low; consequently, they travel along the streets without paying close attention to traffic lights and other signals. Quite often, motor-cyclists occupy the lanes for cars and other four-wheel motor vehicles while taxi drivers speed up, forcing the riders/drivers of other vehicles to give way to them. It takes a lot of time and energy to draw the attention of anyone who does travel along the streets in Ho Chi Minh City to the well-established traffic laws here in particular and to make each of the city dwellers a law-abiding citizen in general. But it is worth it!

In conclusion, we are all overwhelmed by the increasing number of the traffic accidents in Ho Chi Minh City nowadays. It is time to upgrade the whole system of the main streets in this city and apply strong efficient measures both to punish those who break traffic laws and to call for every citizen’s consciousness of obeying these laws strictly whenever he/she travels along the street in this city. The sooner these suggestions will be taken into account, the less serious the traffic accidents happening in Ho Chi Minh City will be.”

Today, traffic jams and traffic accidents are very big problems in our country. So what should we do to reduce traffic jams and traffic accidents?

There are many following reasons of traffic jams. First, the roads are very narrow. There are too many cars and motorbikes. Second, people don't obey traffic rules. So, what are the solutions to improve traffic jams? First, they have to widen the roads. Second, ask people to obey traffic rules, such as: stop when the lights red, go when the lights green. There are lots of traffic accidents because of many reasons. First, people drive fast or carelessly. It is very easy to have accidents. Second, people don't obey the traffic rules. Third, they don't wear helmets. So, what is the solutions for this problem? First, they should drive or ride more carefully. Second, people should obey traffic rules and always wear helmets when they drive cars.

In sum, you should wear helmet, drive carefully and obey the traffic rules to reduce traffic jams and traffic accidents.

I and Hung are team mates in our school’s soccer team, and that is the reason we became best friends. At first we did not know each other, but we quickly became close after just a few weeks. Hung is a good player, so he always helps me practice to improve my skills. In order to thank him, I become his instructor in some of the subjects in class. I am as tall and slim as Hung, and many people say that we look like brothers. In fact, we are even closer than brothers. We can share almost everything, from feelings to clothes and hobbies. I always proud of our friend ship, and we will keep it like this as long as we can.

She lives in thanh liem, ha nam. Her house is near mine. We have been friends since primary school, when we were at class 2B.

She is tall and thin. Her hair is black and long, her eyes are brown, her face is oval and her clothes are fashionable.
It's said that ,she is a unfriendly girl. But she is very very friendly. During the time she and i studied together , i felt she was good, loyal, humorous and pleasant. specially , she very very crazy, she always makes me laugh very much. Until now, i feel she doesn't change , still is a pleasant girl, and i like that.
When i'm sad, she is always beside me, makes me feel happy, and she always is a understander.i will never forget all. I love her !

My best friend is Luong Anh. She is 13 years old. She is in the same class as me. We have been best friends for 7 years when we were in class 1A1. Because her house is near my house, she often goes to my house to play with me.

She is tall and thin. She has an oval face and a long hair. She is very beautiful.

She is a good student. She always gets good marks. However, she is very friendly. She often helps everybody. When I can't do my homeworks, she help me complete them. When I feel sad, she supports me. I'm very happy because I have her.

Her name is Hoa, one of my schoolmates and we have known each other since we were 10 years old. Everyone would say she is very pretty if they were to describe how she looks. She has black almond-shaped eyes, a small nose, a small pointed chin, and especially long black hair. She is not very tall but not short either, I think such a Vietnamese girl is very nice. She does not like to dress up so her friends usually see her wearing jeans and a T-shirt or sweater. It seems like she and I used to talk or laugh about everything. She has a wonderful sense of humor but she can also get a little depressed sometimes. She and I are interested in many of the same hobbies. We like going to the movies but there are few movies presented in Yenbai. We used to walk around, try to find a new area of Yenbai to explore. We both like traveling, reading, and training to swim. Whatever we did, it seemed always fun to be with her. We still make time to see each other even when our lives get busy now. Since I was better in math and she was better in English, we could help each other if we got confused about a difficult homework assignment. I hope that our friendship will continue and be just as strong although we graduated from high school.

Last weekend, while cleaning my bedroom, I came across an album and found a photo of me on the first day coming to school – a day filled with special emotions. It was a sunny day with many white clouds. My mom was the person that accompanied me to school. On the way to school, i could see many other children around my age are going to school like me, some of them were crying a lot. Fifteen minutes later, we arrived at the school. Mom said goodbye to me and suddenly i bursted into tears.I felt lonely and scared because there was no one beside me then. Then a woman came by my side. She had a bright smile and a gentle face which reminded me of my mom. With a warm voice, she introduced to me that she was my teacher. I had thought that teacher was someone that would punish me when I made mistakes, but my first impression was a little different from my expectation, she was like a sweet angel. Later, she took me to my new class.There are a lot of new friends. Sitting at my place, looking around the classroom, I was impressed by the colourful and lovely space here. It was painted in bright colours with a large book shelf at the corner, filled with comics and toys, which were all well-organised. After that, the very first lesson at school got started. Beside learning to spell and write, I was also taught to sing, to draw pictures and was told a lot of interesting stories, which made me really excited. It was my first day studying at school, quite a long time ago but still gives me a sense of nostalgia for my carefree childhood.

I  dream of studying in a famous high school. It's a beautiful one with nice, lush gardens with green plants and trees. In spring time the blooming flowers are a spectacle. It 'll have a well equipped library, and I will definately go there every day because I fond of reading books. The high school'll also have qualified teachers, who are very caring. They'll teach me with a great deal of patience, and want us to become good and responsible human beings. And, I want to make an effort to make school and my teachers proud of me.

Hello , My name’s Nhi . I’m third - teen  years  old . Now, I want to tell you about my dream school .
My dream school is big and beautiful . It’s has a lot of trees around the school and has enough the stadiums of for students to play. The school has many students and teachers are friendly. The classes are beautiful and have modern equipment. It’s have a big library , there are a lot of good and rewarding books for students. It's has a great learning environment . The school has many clubs such as: Endlish club, Art club , Science club, Football club,Physics Club... My dream school has a big canteen with lots of healthy food so I can eat healthy foods every lunch.The school has many native teacher and wellqulfield teachers. That’s all.

My dream school would be in my country Alexandria..i know there is a lot of schools here but its not mine...i would make a great building surrounded by grass , trees and flowers ..i would make an option in this school that every student choose the language they would love to learn Spanish ,English ,German...etc and this would start after grade 5 after we give them all language we have ...and the school must at least have not less than 5 languages...and i would make for every language an professional teachers, for the students...

They should to talk English all the time in every lesson until they reach their 5th grade then they should to talk in the language that had chosen by them...and if i have a lot of money i would make a modern classes with a small wardrobe in every class for the students to put their jackets or whatever... and putting water machine..there would be a large room for every staff.. English staff sit together in a modern and large room ...and other staff have the same thing ..about the garden i would it to be huge garden to make the students feel free to move and play and do everything they want ..and for sure would put guards in the garden if anyone get hurt or something that ..

it would be from 9 am to 3 pm it would be only 6 lessons in the day and about the curriculum i would not it to be any other curriculum i would to suits our generation and every year must be changed and it should depend on the innovation and challenge ..i would make all my students work hard and i would encourage them by giving gifts for students who worked hard and there will be a sport day in every month ..i would put an extra lesson 3 days in a week called innovation and this will teach students how to innovate anything they could benefit from it with minimum cost ..i would to build a huge library and it would have all the books in all fields that could utilize the students ...and for sure there would be in their break a meal for every student..

Last summer, I had a good holiday. I never forget that meaningful holiday. When I came back my home from my holiday. First of all, I went to visit all my uncles and aunts then I and some my friends went to visit all my old teachers. We talked about our lives and works very much. After that days, I stayed at home with my family. I helped my parents to paint the house and did something else. I talked about my life in Ho Chi Minh city and my work. My parents was very proud of me and I was very happy. After my holiday, I came back Ho Chi Minh city to go on working. I think that I had a good holiday and I’ll never forget it
