What I got was a trip to Sapa - or we can know about it as the real life heaven of Vietnam. We took a flight to Hanoi, and then we travel by bus to Sapa. After going through several hills and corners that were covered in mist, Sapa finally appeared as a fairy land in between the clouds. There are many beautiful hotels and villas in Sapa which were built in classical Europe style, and all of them together create a very old mysterious atmosphere. The famous destination in Sapa is the Gate to Heaven, which is located in the middle of a mountain, and we had to climb and hike for a long distance to finally reach there. Another famous spot is the Silver Waterfall. We can hear the sound of tons of water falling down the high cliffs, and it creates a blurry atmosphere around the bottom of the cliff. We took a lot of pictures there, and they looked like we just came out of the cloud. In the evening, we hang around and bought some interesting things at the night market. I had chance to witness and try some of the featuring food as well as clothes and accessories of the North West mountain area, and they were so different from what I had in Ho Chi Minh City. The next day we spent most of our time going out to enjoy the nature. What we should not miss when coming to Sapa is the terraced rice fields, which are cleverly located along the slope of the hills. Sapa is such a masterpiece of mother nature, and I am so lucky to have a trip there.

was born in Hochiminh City. For four years, i have been away from home and studied abroad in Finland. However, the memories of Hochiminh City are still vivid in my mind. My thought wanders from busy crowded streets to quiet orchards beyond downtown.

Everything seems colorful and quite pretty to me. I have been dreaming about the taste of local food and the smell of steaming buns or sticky rice everyday of my life while i was studying or working abroad.

I wish i could come back and enjoy any dishes made by my mother. One more important thing about this city is because i had met my future husband, that fulfilled my life and completed it thouroughly. To me, every tiny things involved in my city become my soul and dearest memories ever.

     I'm Lan, and today, I visited Hanoi with my family. It is the capital of Vietnam, and it is also said to be a city of a thousand years of civilization. It was very nice today, but it was a bit hot because it was almost summer now. There were many people there, everyone was very friendly and polite. My family stays in a hotel. In the morning, we went to the amusement park, we were swinging, swinging, and also playing roller coaster. After that, we went to the zoo, there were many diverse animals. There are scary animals like bears, lions, tigers, leopards, ... but there are cute animals like zebras, giraffes, pandas, peacocks, ... In the afternoon, we go out. I'm going to talk about our capital city, Hanoi. Hanoi a city directly under the central government and a special urban area of Vietnam.
