There are four people in my family: my parents, my younger sister and I. My father is a 45-year-old engineer. He spends most of his time in the building sites. That’s why he has a tanned skin. As soon as he comes home, he turns on the television to watch the news, relaxes for a while and then he takes a shower. In case my mother doesn’t cook for the dinner yet, my father is very happy to join hand and help her. Talk about my mother, she is a 40-year-old primary school teacher. In every morning, she is the one who wakes up earliest to prepare the breakfast, clothes and necessary things for my father, me and my sister. After we leave home to work or study, my mother will have a quick breakfast and drive to the primary school. After school, she runs fast to the market, buys some fresh food and backs to home to cook lunch. My father doesn’t come home in the noon so only three of us eat and talk to each other during lunch. However, the lunch is still prepared very scrupulous. In general, my mother is a gentel caring woman and sometimes she is very strict. I have a younger sister who will be 8 years old in the next October. My sister is pretty, docile and hard study. On every weekend, I take her to the park to have fun and we will buy some tasty ice creams. We quite close and sometimes she makes me very angry because of her negligent habit. The last person in my family is me. I am studying in the second year of Business Administration major at Hong Bang University. My schedule is changed frequently and I am also trying to get a scholarship to study abroad in Canada next year so I don’t spend much time to my family. But any time when I am free I try to help my mother in household chorces and take care of my sister. In my family, each person has a different responsibility but we always stand together to enjoy happiness moments, overcome the difficult time and solve the problems. I understand that there is nothing that is more important than my family. I love my parents and my lovely sister so much.

Dịch: Gia đình tôi gồm có 4 người: bố mẹ tôi, em gái tôi và tôi. Bố tôi là một kĩ sư xây dựng 45 tuổi. Hầu hết thời gian trong ngày ông ở công trường. Đó là lý do vì sao ông có làn da rám nắng. Ngay khi về đến nhà, ông ấy bật tivi lên để nghe thời sự, thư giãn và sau đó thì đi tắm. Trong trường hợp mẹ tôi vẫn chưa nấu xong bữa tối thì bố tôi sẽ rất vui vẻ để phụ một tay. Nói về mẹ tôi, bà ấy là một giáo viên tiểu học 40 tuổi. Vào mỗi buổi sáng, mẹ tôi luôn là người dậy sớm nhất để chuẩn bị bữa sáng, quần áo và những đồ dùng cần thiết cho bố con tôi. Sau khi chúng tôi đã rời khỏi nhà để đi làm hay đi học mẹ tôi mới dùng vội bữa sáng và chạy đến trường tiểu học. Sau khi tan trường mẹ tôi chạy thật nhanh đến chợ mua những thực phẩm tươi rồi về nhà nấu bữa trưa. Bố tôi không về nhà vào buổi trưa nên chỉ có ba mẹ con chúng tôi ăn uống và nói chuyện suốt bữa trưa. Dù vậy, bữa cơm vẫn được chuẩn bị rất chu đáo. Nói chung, mẹ tôi là một phụ nữ hiền lành đảm đang và đôi khi rất nghiêm khắc. Tôi có một em gái sẽ tròn 8 tuổi vào tháng 11 tới. Nó rất dễ thương, ngoan ngoãn và chăm chỉ học tập. Vào mỗi dịp cuối tuần tôi hay dẫn em đến công viên giải trí và đi ăn những cây kem tươi ngon. Chúng tôi khá thân thiết nhưng đôi khi nó làm tôi phát cáu bởi vì thói quen cẩu thả của mình. Người cuối cùng trong gia đình tôi chính là tôi. Tôi đang học năm thứ hai ngành Quản Trị Kinh Doanh tại đại học Hồng Bàng. Lịch học của tôi thường xuyên thay đổi và tôi đang cố để giành được học bổng du học Canada trong năm tới nên tôi không dành nhiều thời gian cho gia đình. Nhưng bất kì khi nào rảnh tôi luôn phụ mẹ công việc nhà và chăm sóc em gái. Trong gia đình tôi mỗi người đều có một trách nhiệm riêng nhưng chúng tôi luôn sát cánh bên nhau để tận hưởng những giây phút hạnh phúc, vượt qua thời gian khó khăn và cùng giải quyết vấn đề. Tôi hiểu rằng không có điều gì quan trọng hơn gia đình. Tôi yêu bố mẹ và cô em gái dễ thương rất nhiều.

Hello, everyone! I’m glad to introduce my family. There are four people, including Mom, Dad, one brother and me. My mother’s name is Mai, and she is 50 years old. She is a beautiful woman with long black hair. My father’s name is Truong, and he is 55 years old. And my brother is Duy. He is 17 years old, and now he is a student of Minh Khai High School. As a traditional family in Vietnam, I have a big one. My family has 5 members, including Mom, Dad, Grandma, sister, and me. My mom’s name is Giang. She has long hair and black eyes. She is a teacher. My Dad’s name is Trung. He is tall and very strong. His job is doctor. For me, my mom is the most beautiful woman, and my dad is the most wonderful man. And my grandma’s name is Tam. She is 95 years old, and next 5 years, we will organize the 100th longevity wishing ceremony, and I look forward to taking part in this ceremony. Besides, another woman who I love so much is my sister. Her name is Linh. She is 26 years old, and she is a beautiful woman Mom. Now, she is living in Ha Noi capital, because of her jobs. I really love my family, and I hope that we are always together anyway.

Last Summer Holiday I went to Ha Long Bay with my family . We went there by plane .  First , we took a boat trip around the island. In the morning , I and my brother swam in the sea and built sandcastle on the beach . In the afternoon we went to Tuan Chau Island to see water pupets and then I had seafood in the big restaurant  . In the evening  , we went for a walk along the seaside . It was a wonderful holiday last summer .

Over time we live and develop, each of us will choose a unique habit. My friends have a habit of playing games on the weekends. Personally, I have a habit of reading in my free time every day.  This habit of mine is formed from the shape of my hobby. Since childhood I have enjoyed reading. The types of books that I often read are books about life, manners, and economics. Ever since I could read, I have always enjoyed reading. However, when I was a kid, the kind of books I read were usually comic books. Currently, studying time is quite busy so I don’t have a fixed time for reading. However, whenever I have time I will read. I usually carry a book that I am half-reading in my bag. This ensures I can read ns anywhere and at any suitable time. I think the habit of reading has helped me improve myself a lot. In the future I will keep this useful habit. If you are free, you can practice reading habits like me.

Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam is relic and rich diversity of the city's leading Hanoi, located in the south of Thang Long. Currently, it was the Prime Minister Vietnam put on the list ranked 23 national monuments in particular. Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam mallet brick walls surrounding, inner space divided into five classes with different architectures. Each class that space is limited by the brick wall with three gates to communicate with each other (including the door between the two parties and two side doors). From outside to inside with the ports respectively: port of Literature, University of China, Dai Thanh and ergonomics. With over 700 years of operation has trained thousands of talents for the country. Now, the Temple of Literature where sights of domestic and foreign tourists as well as where the compliments for excellent student and also a place to organize the annual poetry on the fifteenth day of January. Emperor Ly Thanh Tong founded The Temple of Literature in 1070. Now it is considered as one of the historic and cultural sites of Vietnam. And then in 1076 Emperor Ly Nhan Tong built The Imperial Academy as the first university of Vietnam.In 1484, Emperor Le Thanh Tong built the first Doctor’s stone tablet there to memorize the devotion of Doctors. Now it is recognized as the World heritage by UNESCO. In 2003, the Ha Noi People Committee built four statues of Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, Emperor Ly Nhan Tong, King Le Thanh Tong, and Chu Van An who founded and developed Temple of Literature – Imperial Academy.

Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) was constructed in 1070 during Ly Thanh Tong's dynasty. Its original purpose was to honor Confucius. In 1076, the first university of Vietnam called Quoc Tu Giam (The Imperial Academy), was established within this temple by Emperor Ly Nhan Tong. That's the reason why the complex has the name of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam up to now. Initially, Quoc Tu Giam was the school for princes and children of royal families and then expanded in the following year to admit top students from around the country. Nowadays, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is one of the most famous tourist destinations for both Vietnamese people and foreigners. It's also a place to celebrate doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam. One special thing about this place is that there are 82 Doctors' stone tablets. They are tombstones with names and origins of 1304 doctors placed on the backs of stone tortoises. If you come here at the beginning of the year or in May, when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous families and students who come and pray for luck

I live in a small and beautiful house with my family in the countryside. There are 4 rooms in my house : a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom.We have a big yard and a big garden in front of my house. In the living room, there is a television on a big cupboard, 3 tables, some chair, a bed and a bookcase. My family often eat lunch and dinner in living room. Next to the living room is a kitchen. There is a stove, a fridge, some chopsks, bowls, cup on the shelf.In the bathroom, there is a toilet, a big mirror, a sink, some towels and some soaps. Fnally room is my bedroom. There is a bed, a desk, a closet and some pictures I draw when I was a child. I want to say : I love my house so much.

My house is in Ha Noi capital. It is a big house. It has five rooms: one living room, one study room, one bedroom, one kitchen and one bathroom. In front of my house there is a yard. Behind my house there are three storehouses and a garden. In my living room, there is a big TV, two tables, two benches, four chairs, a computer and some pictures,…In my study room, there are two desks, three chairs, three closets, some books, a bookshelf and a computer. There is a small TV, two mattresses, five pillows, four blankets, and a teddy bear. There are some bowls, some cups, a fridge, a stove, a table, a cupboard and some pots,… in the kitchen. In my bathroom, there is a mirror, a toilet, a sink, some towels, some toothbrushes and some soaps. To the left of my house there is a wall. To the right of my house there are some trees. I love my house very much.

My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the necessary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contains many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.
