It's called Red Planet because iron minerals in the Martian soil oxidize, or rust, causing the soil and atmosphere to look red. One day on Mars takes a little over 24 hours. Being a volunteer is one of the best things you can do with your life. It's a great way to help other people. It's also very satisfying to know that you are not wasting your time and are helping people who need help.
Many of us could and should be out there doing voluntary activities of some kind. So many volunteer organizations need extra hands. It really is easy. Just pick up the phone and offer your services.
I think too many of us settle into a lazy lifestyle. We just want to come home and watch TV. Life is much more interesting when you're a volunteer.
I've found it really opens your eyes to how some people live. It's sometimes sad to see how the government lets people down, but at least I'm doing my bit.

I want to provide food, clothes and blankets for street children. I want to do it because I want to share the things I have with children who are in need. I hope no child will be hungry and cold. I will cook food and bring it to street children on the weekends. I will also encourage my friends to donate clothes and blankets to them.

As you know, community activities are convenient activities that help people develop better and become more mature, and that's why last year I participated in some community activities. Firstly, I went to the orphanage to help children without families, I cooked charity meals for the children, which showed my love for the children and the children were so happy when they had the meals I cooked.
