Today, in Vietnam often encountered many natural disasters such as floods, droughts, hail, tropical storms and other natural disasters. These are the most frightening things people are concerned about. Tropical storms often occur and cause most harm. It usually occurs in the rainy season and occurs most often in central Vietnam and coastal areas. It causes a lot of damage to people and property. First, killing people, livestock and poultry by the flood. Second, crop loss due to flooding. Humans become homeless and lose all their possessions. and many other damages caused by the storm. To prevent and fight against tropical storms, before it takes place, we must make preventive dikes, prepare adequate tools and food and other necessities. When storms occur, people must find safe shelters not to go out. After that, we have to overcome what hurricanes destroy, such as rebuilding houses, and many other things, if we live in that area, we should plant trees, protect the environment and many other pracal things.

We all know that natural disasters happen all over the world, and they can be utterly devastating for people’s lives and the environments we live in. There are many different natural causes leading to natural disasters, and being aware of these causes enables us to be better prepared when they do arrive. One of the most common natural disasters is flooding, which occurs when a river bursts its banks and the water spills out onto the floodplain. During wet periods, flood warnings are often put in place because of a great deal of heavy rain. There are other risk factors for flooding that we have to mention such as steep-sided channels cause fast surface run-off, the lack of vegetation and woodland break the flow of water. In other words, there is little to slow the floodwater down.

Usually occurs in cold or temperate countries. Sand tornado: also known as sand demon, is a phenomenon of sand swept up very high, occurring at noon in desert areas. To: is the phenomenon of wind speeding up suddenly, accompanied by strong thunderstorms. Thunderstorms: are storms accompanied by thunder, heavy rain or hail. Tornado: is a phenomenon of a circular swirling air stream extending from a thunderstorm cloud down to the ground, especially in that a thunderstorm can descend on empty fields (rural areas) and cities. Fire storm: is a way to call intense fires that have created their own convection system and wind, making it extremely large and difficult to control or extinguish. Tropical cyclones are rapidly rotating storm systems characterized by a center of low pressure, strong winds and a spiral cloud structure that produces heavy rain. lots of homes. The bigger the storm, the more loss of life and property. Storms often break trees and damage homes. A hurricane with a tornado can sweep people and houses away, break trees, cause crop damage, and cause accidents to planes and boats. Therefore, we must take timely measures to prevent storms, we must resist our house carefully, so we can prevent a little hảm from storm.

Flood is considered as one of the most dangerous disasters in the world. There was a “historical flood” that happened in Hanoi in 2008. This must be a year that Hanoians can never forget because the rain was so heavy and lasted for many days consecutively that inundated many streets of Hanoi. The rain was considered heaviest in the last 100 years, which caused people to suffer from a lot of damage. According to statistics, many families even suffered from inundation as high level of water flew into their houses. Offices or schools had to make emergency announcement to let their employees and students be at home to avoid any potential accidents that may caused by the pouring rain. Life then had a lot of disturbance and people had to wait until it stopped raining. The rain triggered inconvenience for people in different fields as high death toll was recorded, traffic was in no order or people stood a high chance of dangerous epidemics. Luckily, after a few days, life began to come back to the way it was thanks to concerted effort of both local authority and many people of the city.

Natural disasters are catastrophic events that occur due to natural processes and can cause significant damage to the environment, infrastructure, and human lives. They are often unpredictable and can happen anywhere in the world. Some of the most common types of natural disasters include hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, wildfires, tornadoes, and tsunamis, etc.
Natural disasters can have a wide range of effects on various aspects of human life, the environment, and the economy. One of the most devastating consequences of natural disasters is the loss of human lives. Disasters can cause immediate fatalities due to the impact of the event itself, such as collapsing buildings in earthquakes or storm-related casualties in hurricanes. Injuries and long-term health impacts can also occur, requiring medical attention and rehabilitation. Futhermore, natural disasters can cause significant damage to physical infrastructure, including buildings, roads, bridges, power grids, and water supply systems. This damage disrupts essential services, hampers rescue and recovery efforts, and requires extensive resources and time for rebuilding and repairs. As a consequence, disasters often result in the displacement of populations as people are forced to evacuate their homes due to immediate threats or the destruction of their dwellings. Temporary shelters and evacuation centers may be established to provide assistance, but prolonged displacement and homelessness can occur, leading to social, economic, and psychological challenges.
But, how to lessen the effects of natural disasters? Mitigating the effects of natural disasters involves implementing measures to reduce the vulnerability of communities and minimize the impact of such events. One of the effective measure is early warning systems. Stablishing effective early warning systems is crucial for providing timely information about impending natural disasters. These systems can include technologies such as weather monitoring, seismic sensors, and flood gauges. When a potential disaster is detected, warnings can be issued to the public, allowing them to take necessary actions to protect themselves and evacuate if needed. Proper land-use planning and zoning regulations help ensure that vulnerable areas are not heavily populated or used for critical infrastructure. This includes avoiding construction in flood-prone zones, landslide-prone areas, or earthquake-prone regions. By limiting development in high-risk areas, the potential impact of natural disasters can be reduced.
In conclusion, it's important to for individuals and communities to be aware of the potential risks and take proactive measures to protect themselves and their surroundings. This includes developing emergency plans, having disaster supply kits, and staying informed about weather conditions and evacuation procedures. Additionally, efforts to address climate change and promote sustainable practices can contribute to reducing the frequency and intensity of some natural disasters. Also, to note that while mitigation measures can reduce the impact of natural disasters, they cannot eliminate the risk entirely. A comprehensive approach that combines mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts is necessary to effectively manage the consequences of natural disasters.

Environmental pollution has become a controversial issue that puts severe pressure on our rhythm of life. The pollution on Earth has reached such an alarming level that immediate involvement from governments and individuals collaboration now are of great importance. First and foremost, industrial activities are considered to be the main cause for air pollution. Along with the global industrialization, the burning of fossil fuels, motor vehicles and factories are contaminating the air by their emission of harmful fumes. In the second place, pervasive deforestation for land use, overuse of fertilizers and the dumping pollutants such as plastic or non- biodegradable packing in the ground has affected the ecosystem and led to soil pollution. This puts bad long- term effects on vegetation and soil fertility. Serious attempt to relieve the effects of pollution and preserve the environment need to be made as soon as possible. Governments can monitor the exhaust purification process of large factories so that they can prevent dangerous exhaust from the environment. Moreover, stricter regulations and laws against forests exploitation can help preserve pristine environment. Individuals should be responsible and raise awareness for the protection of environment. In conclusion, pollution has increasingly become a threat to the globe, directly affects our life and for the sake of environment and all citizens around the world, we should work hand in hand to protect our friendly house- the earth.

After three industrial revolutions, human keeps on taking steps to develop modern technology, making themselves the dominant species on the Earth. However, there is a high price to pay since pollution has become one of the most serious problems we have to confront. The first factor that is under great strain is the source of water. In the modern times, a number of factories have been built, leading to a huge amount of waste that needs to be dealt with. But with a lack of sewage treatment systems, most of this is dumped directly into rivers or lakes, destroying marine life. In addition, oil spills from tanker ship accidents also contribute to water population, which killed thousands of seabirds and aquatic animals. Not only water, the air is also contaminated seriously. It is shown that most of the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere comes from coal burning power plants and motor vehicles, causing global warming and greenhouse effect. The situation became worse since our green lungs have been damaged seriously due to the alarming rate of deforestation. As a result of air pollution, human health can be threatened and put at risk of respiratory problems and hives.Last but not least, soil pollution is another example of our negative impacts on the environment. With modern farming practices and the abuse of chemical pesticides, the quality of soil is increasingly degraded on account of the loss of important minerals and microorganisms in it. Moreover, it can be polluted by improper disposal of waste or heavy metals from factories and power plants. These substances will enter the waterways and then our food chain, which gradually do harm to our health. In all likelihood, arable land will turn into desert or be lost to erosion and water logging. To conclude, the environment is polluted at a high rate, affecting our life negatively in many ways. Therefore, there is a need to take measures to save the Earth before it is too late.
