Bat Trang Porcelain Village is a traditional pottery-making village, which is located in the Northern of the Red River, Bat Trang town, Gia Lam district, Ha Noi. The pottery here is made of a special kind of clay – the white clay.
The craftsmen only use their hands to knead the clay into the shape of the bowl, flower vase, etc. Then, they draw lively pictures or patterns on the products and glaze them. After that, these kneaded-clays will be put into the kiln for heating.

The pottery products of Bat Trang Porcelain Village are always famous for the skillfulness, subtleness and the diversity of product’s shapes such as small bowls, large bowls, flower vases, pots, thuribles, etc. Especially, all the handicrafts of this pottery-making village are waterproof and fade-resistant.

The glaze of Bat Trang is also very subtle and unique with the secret recipe, which is handed down from generation to generation. Those values have created such an irresistible attraction and appealing feature for Bat Trang village. This is the reason why this traditional handicraft village can attract so many tourists as well.

Life in modern cities truly causes a lot of nuisances. In the first place, citizens have to deal with traffic congestion every day. This problem is even worse in the rush hour when so many people run out to work and are stuck on streets for hours. Next, high cost of living is also a serious issue in the city, especially in metropolitan cities. More and more people find it difficult to live on their modest salaries when prices are going up all the time. Financial pressure makes city dwellers become constantly stressed and tired. Finally, the polluted air caused by exhaust emissions from millions of vehicles, construction dust and the lack of green trees negatively affects residents’ health. Many people suffer from respiratory problems such as cough, sore throat or asthma. Indeed, city life brings a number of difficulties as well as challenges to its citizens.

Have you ever been to Vietnam? If you have been there, I am sure that you want to go to Vietnam once more. Vietnam is known not only as a developing country, as a country that has just been out of a war and is still poor but it is also known as a beautiful, peaceful and friendly country.
Although Vietnam still have many difficulties in economy, in some years, Vietnam has proved by its worth by increasing its economy, culture, society and quality of living.
Every year, there are a million of turns of foreigners arriving in Vietnam. They come to Vietnam not just for their holidays but they also want to join the Vietnamese culture and the Vietnamese lifestyle.
The culture of Vietnam is the culture of Asia but we have our own culture and it is different from other. Vietnamese are friendly and kind, the foreigners can do everything in my country and we are pleased to help them. Wherever you go, you can see the traditional clothes “ Ao dai”, from Noi Bai International Airport in Ha Noi capital or Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh city to in the streets in Vietnam. We are proud of it and there are many foreigners wear “Ao Dai” in Vietnam and other country. It is the symbol of Vietnam culture and especially is symbol of the Vietnamese women.
About delicacy in Vietnam, although there are many kinds of food from other countries, “Pho”, “Bun bo”, “Nem”, Cha” are still the exciting and attractive food for foreigners and they are very cheap, of course, they contain the Vietnamese style deeply.
Beside clothes and food, everyone comes to know Vietnam because of its beauty, “ Ha Long Bay” , beautiful beaches, landscapes which the foreigner will never forget. Ha Noi, the capital of Vietnam, is famous for ancient streets and traditional culture. Ho Chi Minh city is famous for modern culture, busy life and shopping. If you need a silent place, you should arrive in Ha Noi and if you like noisy and activities, please go to Ho Chi Minh. Everyone is usually glad to welcome you.
With a short tour around Vietnam, you spend only one week for your holidays for each city. It is really cheap and valuable for your choice. Vietnam is the destination for the new millennium.

Today I want to talk my friends about my country -vietnam - beautyful country lie in SouthEast Asia. Vietnam has tropical weather, so it is wonderful for travel everyday in year. You can visit Sapa (Lao cai) to feel cold, fresh air, visit Can Tho to travel by boat on river maket, eat a lot of delicious fruits, go to the Hue to hear folk songs, go to Hanoi capital and Ho Chi Minh city, you will feel warm air by people and taste Pho also other special foods. People in my country is very friendly. They are ready to help you such as guide street athought you can't talk Vietnamese, hihi because they are intelligent.I want to introduce very much but i write slowly, the next i will talk more than now. 1.Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

2.Environment is an essential part of our life. A clean environment is necessary for a peaceful and healthy life. An environment is the natural surroundings which helps human beings, animals and other living things to grow and develop naturally. But nowadays, our environment is disturbing in many different ways. Any type of disturbance in the nature’s balance affects the environment totally. It does not only ruin human lives but also affects on all living beings. We can save our environment with the little step taken by everyone on the earth. We should reduce the amount of waste, throwing wastes properly to its place only…and many other simple ways. It is very important to save environment for human existence. When we protect the environment, we are protecting ourselves and our future as well.

3.I live in Vietnam and there are a lot of traffic problems in big cities in my country. Firstly, there are too many people using the roads especially in the rush hour when people run out to work and school or get home from those places. Secondly, there are too many vehicles on the road that leads to traffic jams. Another problem is that many roads are narrow and bumpy. Fourthly, there are traffic accidents every day so a lot of people lose their lives or are injured. So in order to travel on the roads safely, I think we should obey the traffic rules and traffic signs as well. Moreover, carefulness is very necessary.

The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. It's very famous, more than 250 million people have visited the tower since it was completed in 1889. As one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, the Eiffel Tower has been the inspiration for the creation of many replicas and similar towers. I really want to visit Paris to see this tower.

While all of the well-known wonders in the world are definitely worth visiting (why else would they be well-known?), it’s sometimes nice to get a bit off of the beaten path and experience the cultural and natural wonders of the world – especially if it means fewer crowds.
