Hello everyone! I am Nga. I am delighted to be here today to tell you about weather in Vietnam.  Vietnam is located in both a tropical and a temperate zone. It is characterized by strong monsoon influences, but has a considerable amount of sun, a high rate of rainfall, and high humidity. Temperatures are high all year round for southern and central Vietnam; but northern Vietnam has a definite cooler season as the north monsoon occasionally adverts cold air in from China. Frost and some snow may occur on the highest mountains in the north for a few days a year. In the southern Vietnam, the lowlands are sheltered from outbreaks of colder northerly air and the dry season is warm to hot with much sunshine. I  hope that my presentation today will help you with what I said. Thank you for listening!

1.Hi. My name Chi. I'm in from Vietnam. In Vietnam, there are four season: spring, summer, fall and winter. In the spring it is often warm,sometimes it's rainy.In the summer it's hot and sunny.The weather is cool in the fall and in the winter it is cold and windy.I fall because I can do many activities.When it's ,I usually play badminton and go sailing.Sometimes I climb the mountains with my family.

In North Vietnam there  are  four  seasons:  spring,  summer,  autumn  and  winter.  It  is  hot in summer and it is very cold in winter. In South Vietnam there are only two seasons: the rainy season and the dry season. It rains a lot from May to November. In the dry season it is very hot. Sometimes there are storms in the North and floods in the South.I love spring. Because the weather at that time is very nice. it’s breezy and mild. The landscapes are very beautiful. I love going out in spring to see sky. Sometimes, I take photographs and they’re so nice.

This spring is beautiful, the weather is warm. spring the spring wind in the early sun, so how many flowers are blooming,

Winter is my favourite season. I love everything about it. I the cold weather, which always makes the sky seem so blue. I also being able to see my breath in the cold air.

In summer, it's difficult to keep cool outside, but in winter, it's easy to keep warm. I really hiking in winter. The cold really makes you feel alive.

It's also great getting home to a nice warm room. Winter also has the best holidays. I love getting together with my family and then celebrating the New Year.

Winter is a really good time to go on vacation because the sights are usually empty. If you go anywhere in Europe in winter, you can be sure of getting a hotel room and you never have to wait to get into a museum.

Spring is the beginning of a year. Around this time, the climate is still cold and humid. There are still some small drizzles outside but they seem not be able to stop the hundreds of colorful flowers blooming. Peach blossoms, apricot blossoms and lime trees are the most favorite plants for the Lunar New Year. Apricot blossom is yellow, peach blossom is pink, these color brighten up the sky. Spring arriving means that with New Year is coming. At this moment, everyone's heart is throbbing. The roads are filled with vehicles, everyone is happy, they go shopping to prepare for Tet holiday such as buying trees, clothes, foods.Traditionally, all of houses hang red sentences in front of the house, plant trees, wrap green cake to eat with melon onion. This is a characteris that only Vietnam has, leaves impression on the tourists. Children are especially happy to wear new clothes and receive red envelopes, are taken to visit the relatives. For me, the spring is so special, it carries so much love and happiness.

Mùa xuân là mùa khởi đầu của một năm. Vào khoảng thời gian này, khí hậu vẫn còn se se lạnh, ẩm ướt. Ngoài trời vẫn còn một số cơn mưa phùn nhỏ nhưng dường như chúng không thể ngăn cản được trăm hoa đua nở rực rỡ sắc màu. Hoa đào, hoa mai và cây quất là những loại cây cảnh được ưa chuộng nhất vào dịp Tết. Hoa mai màu vàng, hoa đào màu hồng, nó làm bừng sáng cả một mảng trời. Xuân đến đồng nghĩa là tết về. Vào thời điểm này, lòng ai cũng rộn ràng. Những con đường chật kín xe cộ đi lại, ai ai cũng náo nức đi mua sắm đồ đạc cho năm mói, nào là cây cảnh, quần áo, thức ăn,... Theo truyền thống, nhà nào cũng treo câu đối đỏ trước cửa nhà, trồng cây nêu, gói bánh trưng xanh ăn với dưa hành. Đây là một nét rất đặc trưng mà chỉ Việt Nam mới có, hấp dẫn các khách du lịch phương xa. Đặc biệt những đứa trẻ thì vui mừng được mặc quần áo mới và nhận những phong bao lì xì đỏ thắm, được đưa đi thăm họ hàng gần xa. Đối với tôi mùa xuân thật đặc biệt, nó chất chở bao yêu thương và hạnh phúc.

Any way I prefer spring because the weather at that time is very nice, and the landscapes are very beautiful.

Việt nam là một nước nhiệt đới. Khí hậu thường nóng và ẩm ướt. Ở miền Bắc Việt nam có 4 mùa: xuân, hạ, thu và đông.Vào mùa hè thì nóng, và thỉnh thoảng rất nóng nhưng mùa đông thì rất lạnh. Ở miền Nam Việt nam thì chỉ có 2 mùa: mùa mưa và mùa khô. Mưa nhiều từ tháng 5 đến tháng 11. Vào mùa khô thì rất là nóng. Thỉnh thoảng có những trận bão ở miền Bắc và nạn lụt ở miền Nam.
Dù sao tôi cũng thích mùa xuân hơn vì thời tiết lúc đó rất đẹp, và có những phong cảnh rất đẹp.

_{Tet, also known as Lunar new year festival, is the biggest traditional festival in Viet Nam. Tet is usually from the end of January to early February. Before Tet, Vietnamese prepare many things for the three main days. They clean their house and decorate with flowers such as kumquat tree or peach blossom. A huge amount of food will be bought before Tet for making traditional dishes. Banh Chung, Banh Tet, Gio cha, Xoi and Mut, and candies are the foods that must have on Tet holidays. During Tet, people visit their relatives’ homes and give wishes. However, the Vietnamese believe that the first visitor a family receives in the year determines their fortune for the entire year, people never enter any house on the first day without being invited first. Another custom is giving lucky money, which is put into a red envelope as a symbol of luck and wish for a new age. Traditionally, elders will give lucky money to children and the oldest people in the family. However, nowadays, people can give it to anyone including friends, parents, neighbors. Besides, Vietnamese usually go to pagodas or temples to pray for health, wealth, success. To Vietnamese, Tet is the happiest time of all year around, members in a family can gather together, which is a meaningful messages of Lunar New year festival. All in all, Tet is all about back to origins, be good to others, enjoy the precious moment, and wish for the best to come.}

Do you know ? In Vietnam , New Year called is Tet.Vietnamese have New Year is very special.Tet is usually start the end of January or in February.In Tet, Vietnamese usually go to Tet Market and buy some peach blossoms, kimquat trees,apricot blossoms and many flowers.Can called Tet is busiest time in the year but we have a smile, a time is happy , family gathering, right?Ok , what do you do in Tet ? I'm usually  cook banh chung, go to shopping with my family, go to Tet Market, buy flowers,trees,new clothes , sweets and pie. Ah, I make cu kieu ,sticky rice , jam and i have banh tet by my grandmother, clean the house , decorate the house.This is work we must do before Tet.And How about in during Tet?Oh, I go to visit relatives, got to pagoda and make a wish and I get lucky money, eat special food...

That is my Tet holiday .How about you?I want listen your New Year.

I leart some beliefs about tet from my parents. At tet people present rice to wish for enough food ,red fruts for happiness. Dogs are lucky animals.Their barking sounds 'gold'. But one shouldn't present a cat because its cry sounds the Vietnamese word for poverty. Don't eat shrimps. they move backwards and you will not succeed in the New Year.

Nowadays, energy is very important for our life, so we should use it more efficiently. We should use motorbikes and cars less to avoid increasing the tax on petrol. We should use low energy light bulbs, remember to turn off the light when you leave or go to bed to reduce our electric bills. We also should use public transport when you travel.

Nowadays, energy is necessary for our life. There are many kind of energy : ocean energy, electric energy, solar energy, wind energy... But energy also limit , so we must save energy. We can make some following ways.
To save petrol energy, we should:
+ Limit travel by car, motorbike, train...
You can using bicycles or walk.This not only help you save energy but also avoid traffic jams and can save your money any more.
- To save electricity energy, we should:
+ Turn off the light , the fans, the air-conditioner, you should close it after using.Avoid ironning close at peak hours...
+ When buying somethings, we should choose devices with costly a low electricity.
There are many ways to save water:
+ Turn off the faucet after using it
+ Don't let children play with water, if you let chidren play with water , this ill a lot of water.

- In the kitchen we should save gas energy by many ways:
+ turn off gas after cooking
+ don't use gas too much
+ when the food ripe, we should turn off gas immidiately to save gas.
- saving energy is our duty.
If you follow ways above, you can not only save energy but also save money very much and protect the environment.
