My family have 4 people. There are my mother,my father,my elder sister and me.My parents are both the same age, 50 years old.My father is a teacher ,he is very kind and hard-working. My morther is a nurse, she is interesting, I think she is the most funny person in my family. My elder sister is 18 years old, she is a student and she is very pretty,she not only learns well but also plays the piano very well, I think she will become a pianist in the future. And me, I’m 16 years old and I’m a pupil, in the future i'll be a marketing staff. I love my familly very much.For me, family always is the assured a reliable support.

 And my brother is a good student at Nguyen Ngoc Binh Primary School.He is a active boy in many activities as well as studying. When my brother and I have free time, we often play many many sports and games such as : badminton , volleyball , hide - and - seek , ect....

 And my name is Nhi. I'm a student at class 6/1 at Tran Phu Secondary School. I'm very good at English.

 When all the members in my family have free time , we usually talk about studying as well as working together.Also , I can have meats with my family.I'm so happy and really fun so much. At the weekend , we visit many places such as : park , zoo , beach , ....  I love all the people in my family.

I don't play badminton

1Badminton is a racquet sport. People play it by using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. The most common forms of badminton are singles (with one player per side) or doubles (with two players per side). So there are two or four players. There are three games in a badminton match. A player wins a game when he/she scores 21 points first. A badminton match lasts for 45 to 75 minutes. I love a quite strange sport for everyone, and it is ping pong. Not many people in Vietnam who are interested in ping pong, and it is also hard to find a place to actually have enough equipment to play it. Ping pong, or it also known as table tennis, consists of two or four players hitting a lightweight ball back and forth on a table. The table is divided in two halves by a net, and it marks the playing zone of each team. The basic rule for amateurs is pretty simple as players need to let the ball touch their side of the table one time before bouncing back. They then hit the ball back to their opponent’s side with a small paddle, and this time the ball also need to touch the other side of the table as well. A point is counted when a player fail to return back the ball, let it touch the net, or make it land outside of the table. Since it is played on a table, so the area is not big enough for us to wait and think about the next move. Therefore, we need to play it with fast reactions and nonstop motions. We only have one second to act the next step right after hitting the ball, and it does not take much time to complete a set. In a competition, and match usually consists of five or seven sets, and the first one to score 11 points wins a set. Many people do not take this sport serious, but I think it is a very good sport to train both of our physical and mental health as we need to be tough and have quick reactions at the same time.

Of all the subjects taught in school, I Geography best. It is the only subject which teaches me everything I need to know about the world we live in, for example, vegetation, way of life of people, climate, agriculture and economy.

I learn about the countries around Malaysia and in other parts of the world and, since I cannot visit and see for myself every country in the world, I get at least a good picture of these countries by studying Geography. I am very interested in finding out more about other countries especially those that experience snow when winter comes. I often wonder about the life of the people in these countries. What would it be to be dressed in thick clothes and boots and living in snow-covered houses amidst fir trees? Then, there are the hot desert lands that stretch for miles and miles without a tree in sight. They, too, fascinate me. I marvel at the inhabitants who are able to tolerate the intense heat of the burning sun, traveling along miles of barren, hot land on camels where the only vegetation found would be the few palm trees growing at an oasis. The wide range of food which we enjoy daily such as butter, cheese, fruits, bread that comes from wheat and many others lead me on to find out how they are processed and imported into Malaysia and finally make their appearance in our homes.

As I study more in Geography, I understand better the changes in weather conditions, for example, why there are hot and dry seasons or cool rainy days during the monsoon season and how deserts are caused.

I play a lot of sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, but my favorite one is soccer. It quite simple as the twenty two players of both team try to lead the ball into their opponent’s goal. However, there are some other rules that players need to follow in order to have a fair game. There is an offside rule which prevent players from running towards the opposite goal before anybody else. There is one main referee who has full authority to enforce the laws on the players. He has the power to stop the game temporarily to check on the players’ fault, to give a yellow or direct red card or to give a penalty decision. His decision is the final one, and nobody can argue about it even though he also has two or four other assistants. An international standard soccer field need to be 100 to 110 meters in length, and 64 to 75 meters in width. A domes standard soccer field is a little bit smaller or bigger, which is 90 to 120 meters in length, and 45 to 90 meters in width in provided that it do not become square. A soccer match consists of two half of 45 minutes each, and there is a small break of 15 minutes before both teams entering the second half. If there is no goal in that official time, they need to play for another extra time, which consists of two other 15 - minute periods. If there is still no goal in that time, the players then enter the penalty shootouts. There are five times for each team to score, and the one with the most scores becomes the winner of the whole match. Soccer can be known as the king sport, and people will never stop playing it.

My favorite sport is badminton, and I think it is a suitable sport for girls me. I have been playing badminton since I was 12, and it is very good for me to improve my height. It needs at least two players to play, and we have to use rackets to hit a shuttlecock over a net. However, we can always play it in double form with two players each side or in larger teams. Points are counted when we can strike the shuttlecock across the net, and it lands within the opponent’s side of the court. We can also score when our opponent hit the shuttlecock but it does not go over the net or within our side. There are three sets in a match, and whoever win out of two sets, he or she wins the whole game. This is a quite simple sport without too many rules, and it does not require an ideal base of strength. Most of my girlfriends choose it as their main subject in Physical Education class, and we can both have fun and improve our health by it.

My hobby is swimming. It is also my favorite sport since I was little. I learned it from my father. He’s a good swimmer.

Swimming has four main strokes. They are crawl stroke, breast stroke, back crawl stroke, and butterfly stroke. My favourite swimming styles is breast stroke. In this stroke the arms and legs work in turn. First the arms pull, then the legs kick and the whole body glides forward with arms and legs straight. I also butterfly and I can do crawl and backstroke, too but not very well.

I go to the swimming pool four or five times a week., and in every week. I prace a lot to improve my swimming skills. I want to achieve good results. Last month I paripated in a swimming competition in town with twenty – five more swimmers and I won first prize.

Swimming is not just a leisure time’s activity but has many advantages that are good for human’s health. It helps me to keep fit. With swimming, I can burn 25% of my body’s fat. Besides that, with swimming I can free from asthma. Swimming also keeps you safe in the water. Swimming is interesting and pleasant, it is a good choice for a hobby.

My secondary school is a place that bears all the hallmarks of my childhood memories. It is placed in the center of my district. Surrounded by a paddy-field, it enjoys lined- trees and colorful garden, which creates a wonderful view. Moreover, this school was designed with a large- scale plan. It is a 2 storied building of u shape with capacity of 1000 people and it was invested heavily in infrastructures with well- equipped classrooms. In a good environment, students are given many precious chances to discover and develop their inner talents. Besides modern facilities, this school is also well- known for enthusiastic and qualified teachers who are always dedicated and devoted themselves to teaching career. In conclusion, studied in this school for four years, it has become an indispensable part in my life.
