My best friend and I have been studying in the same school since kindergarten. We have been classmates each year at school. We share a very close bond and have a special friendship that we cherish and treasure.
My friend is my partner, sitting beside me in class. She is kindly and helpful, and if I have any difficulties in understanding any topic in my studies, or in completing my homework or school project, she helps me.
She is brilliant in mathemas and the sciences, while I am good at English. So we both help each other in whatever way possible. She helps me without ever belittling me. I greatly appreciate the quality in her. She does not make me feel obliged.
When I am ill at school or hurt myself on the playground or in the craft room, she is the one who readily helps me. She helps me get first aid in the school’s medical room. When I once fell ill at school she took me to the medical room at school and then helped me reach home safely. I am always very grateful to her.
We travel to school on the same bus, and sometimes when we both miss our bus, we go together to school in her car. Her mother is also friendly and sweet. She loves to host me when I go visiting my friend. She loves to bake cakes and whip ice cream for us during our summer vacations.
My friend and I do our co-curricular and extra-curricular activities together at school and at home. When we have projects to do as part of the holiday homework from school during the summer vacations we do them together. It becomes more fun and easier this way. Our parents also take us wherever we need to go to complete our projects.
We also enjoy doing our art and craft activities together. When we have to do embroidery work or needlework we work together. It is fun because we listen to music and chit-chat as we complete our work. It becomes easy this way.
We also go for yoga classes in the mornings or evenings together depending on whether we have holidays or have to go to school. Doing yoga regularly is good for physical health. We also prace meditation as it is useful in experiencing balance, clarity and peace in our minds. We attending these classes together

It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. It’s written as a apologize to his sister. With Japanese, this film is understand as a fable about the respect. Film is been in historical background at the end of the seconds world war from Japan. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphanages : Seita and Setsuko. 4, My dream home would be on the ocean, well not on the ocean but beside it with a white sandy beach. The house would be an A frame backed against a hill. The upper floor would be a half floor master bedroom with a kingsize water bed and ensuite with a hot tub and sauna. The front wall would be glass with a stairway coming up to the bedroom. On cloudy nights you could watch the floresents in the waves coming into the beach while you went to sleep. Other nights you could counting the stars in the western sky.
On the main floor would be the kitchen-dining room combination, with all the newest appliances and an island in the middle of the kitchen with the stove top and hanging pots and pans over it. The sink would be under one of the windows. Under the other window would be the nook for family meals. Between the kitchen windows, which look out to the field where the horses would be enjoying the warm weather are the cupboards. The dining room would have a six chair pine table set and hutch china cabnet. There will also be a three piece bathroom off the kitchen. The living room is in the front with the big front window. The fireplace is on the side wall with small long windows overlooking the driveway to the road a half mile away. The three piece sectional is perfectly positioned to watch the sunset into the western sea. The basement has the laundry room at the back with sewing machine for mending before folding and taking clothes upstairs. Half of the front of the basement is a guest bedroom with ensuite and small fridge and two element stove. The computer room is also at the front of the basement. Both have views of the beach and sea. Opposite the laundry room is my husband's workshop. I don't know what he has in there as it is his domain. In the garage at the side of the house is our wine colored 94 Toyota Crasada and my husband's hog. We often ride the bike along the beach on warm evenings to visit friends.

" Tet" holiday is always in Vietnamese's heart.
Tet Holiday is the biggest annual celebration of Vietnam in the first days of lunar New Year. During these days, people welcome a new coming year with good health, lucks and success. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite and celebrate together.
The preparation for Tet holiday is taken place very soon because it requires many steps. All members of families clean and redecorate their houses together. Then, they buy food, drink such as cookies, sweets, candied fruit, melon seeds...to offer their guests and to store because in this occasion, many shops are closed. A branch of peach flower or a kumquat tree cannot be absent from every home during these special days. Children are the most eager, as their parents will buy them new clothes. In addition to buying things, many Vietnamese families make Chung cake, pickled onion, frozen meat, which are our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. We decorate ancestral altars with a five-fruit tray, vegetables, sweets, and flowers.
In the last day of the previous year, people become more excited as they feel that the New Year is very near to them. Everybody all waits for the sacred moment when the clock points 0 am and fireworks light up everywhere to wish for health, lucks and happiness in the next year. Streets are extremely crowded. On contrary, in the first morning of the year, everything seems peaceful and quiet as people want to sleep longer to enjoy the moment with their cozy family. However, there are some families getting up early to come back to their hometown to visit their ancestors' graves and relatives. From noon on, everybody go to their neighbors' houses to wish them a happy new year. Children in new clothes are very excited, as they will get lucky money from adults.
There are many activities to welcome new coming spring in this occasion. Children usually take up pens to write their first essay, hoping for good results in school. In spring festivals, everyone especially the young takes part in the traditional games such as rollercoaster, tug of war, cooking rice, cock fighting etc. to express their happiness while farmers wish for bumper crops. Women often go to pagodas to show Buddha their hearts and wish their families good things and power to avoid bad lucks. During the first days of New Year, Vietnamese people do things that are supposed to be good for themselves and their loved ones such as wearing red clothes, buying salt, taking chance or praying... and avoid saying taboos(related to death, breaking...). Each region in Vietnam has it own customs to celebrate Tet, which are very special and unique.
"Tet" is the word that is very familiar to Vietnamese people whenever we think about our country. This is the time for family reunion, for festivals, and for people to give love to their loved one. As for me, I enjoy the warm and cozy Tet's atmosphere when all members of my family stay and talk together.
Tet is one of the most important traditional holidays of Vietnamese people. It often occurs around the end of January or the middle of February. Even nowaday, it still carries many old customs. They often say: “Tet is coming, children are all glad while adults start to worry”. Every Vietnamese children love Tet because they can be out of school, go out for a vacation or visit their grandparents who usually live far away. They also receive new clothes and lucky money – it’s given in a red envelope and hoped to bring luck and happiness – from adults. Actually, lucky money is more expected by “big children” like teenagers and young adults than pupils. It’s considered an extra of their allowance. Unlike children, adults have to prepare so many things for Tet. First of all, sticky – rice cake – a kind of Vietnamese cake made by rice, bean and pork – is a must. Some family will make it while others decide to buy from supermarket. Those cakes are often put on the ancestor altar and afterward eaten during Tet. People also give the cake to each other as gift. Because Tet is the beginning of a year, people clean their house, decorate it with an apricot blossom tree or a cherry blossom tree to make it beautiful. And not just the house, they want to keep their body clean. That’s why they will have a bath the night before new year. People use Tet holiday as an occasion to visit others, too. That makes Tet the gathering time. Family stay together, friends meet each other. But they often try not to come to others’ house on the first day of a new year, it means trying not to become the first visitor of a year. Because they believe if their Chinese zodiac does not match the house owner’s, it will bring bad luck for the whole year. People also invite an acquaintance who has suitable zodiac to come over their place. On the second and third day, people feel free to visit everyone, wish them luck and health, bring some gifts decorated with red and yellow and give children – if there is some – lucky money. Tet is a good holiday. No one can escape from it. It drags people out of their routine life, brings those who is far away back home.
