Tet is the most important celebration for vietnamese people . We have Tet to celebrate Lunar New Year . Tet occurs in late January or early February.

Before Tet about a week, we often clean and repaint our house.We go shopping and buy many things such as: new clothes, red envelopes,food and drink ....Before Tet about 2 days , we decorate our house , so it looks very beautiful . We make and then cool " banh chung" and "banh tet"

On the New Year Eve , all family members gather and watch firework, then we enjoy a lot of delicious food. On the fist day of New Year is the most important day of Tet . We often wear new clothes and visit reatives . Children often get lucky money from parents and grandparents.

Tet is great tim for me and for every vietnamese people

To many Vietnamese, Tet holiday has to be one of the most important celebrations throughout the year that contains both important cultural and spiritual values. Tet usually takes place in late January and early February each year. Tet is also the time for family reunion, when people are off from work and can vist relatives, friends and colleagues frequently. To conclude, Tet is a really terrific holiday for the Vietnamese to relax, have fun and prace traditional customs as well.

Lunar New Year, or Tet, is Vietnam's main holiday. It is the grandestand most important occasion in the year which falls sometime between 19th January and 20th February on the Western calendar. Tet marks the beginning of spring and for agrarianpeople, the start of a new year.

Tet's preparations and celebrations used to be spread over months, but nowadays the holiday is much shorter. A great deal of excitementstill builds up well before Tet. Streets are decorated with coloured lights and red banner. Shops are full ofgoods. People are busy buying gifts, cleaning and decorating their houses and cooking traditional foods.

Homes are often decorated with plants and flowers at this time. Peach blossom is traditional at Tet in the North while apricot blossom is traditional in the South. The kumquat tree with its ripe deep orange fruits is popular throughout the country. One of Tet's most special foods is banh chung, which is made from sticky rice, green beans and fatty pork. Mut, which is candied fruits such as sugared apples, plums or tomatoes, is also popular.

On the days of Tet, everyone tries to be nice and polite to each other. People believe that what they do on the first day of the year will influent their luck during the whole year. Thus, only positive comments should be made. People visit other family members or friends and they exchange New Year's wishes. Children receive their "lucky money” inside red envelopes. Many people go to pagoda to prayfor a happy year for themselves and their families. Both children and adults take part in games and various forms of entertainment. Tet is really a time of fun and festivals throughout the country

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

All of the special holidays in my country, I Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods ...

Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!

It's time for summer holiday. What are you going to do during three months off? To me, I planed to do many things. I'm going to take a tour to another province with my family members in some days to relax. The tour is going to start on middle of June and lasting for a week. It must be tired a little bit but I like travelling and am exciting to wait for that. After the tour, I'm going back with my study. But they will be some extra subjects that I like. When I studied in school, I didn't have time to learn them. Can you guess what they are? You know, I'm going to learn drawing and kungfu. My parents also want me to learn English because they think it's good for me in the future. It's ok. I still have much time for that. I also like learning English. Besides studying, I'm thinking of finding a part time job. Most of my friends are searching for a job to earn some money. This will help us get more experiences and be independent too. I'm going to ask my parents for their pemission. But I think they will accept since it's useful for me. With this plan, I think I'll have a interesting and meaningful holiday. How about your plan?

This city is famous for its roman places, bright weather and delicious food. Additionally, it is known as love city in VN because it attracts large number of couples to visit, peaceful and beautiful landscape. When my family got there, we hired a hotel room in city center near Ho Xuan Huong lake and walked by the lake every nights. Beside, we also had good time to take part in several outdoor activities such as: visiting night market, flower park; tasting spring roll and soy milk. My sister and I brought many souvenirs from a store in order to give them for our friends and relatives. In second day, my family had a chance to visit Clay Village- a mini model, which describes ancient and modern Dalat. The construction is a masterpiece of art and attracts both Vietnamese and foreign tourists. Moreover, there is Langbiang so that visitors can hike climbing and enjoy roasted meats at the top of the mountain. However, my family chose to move by a jeep because nobody wants to be exhausted when getting there. It’s such a wonderful sightseeing trip. In the next few days, we went to Crazy House, which used to belong to Hang Nga- daughter of Truong Chinh. The villa has strange architecture with unique style as a mysterious castle. The tourists are really impressed with this house. After a week in Dalat, we decided to come back home. My parents go back to work at the office and I go bạck to school for a new year study. It’s an enjoyable holiday and I hope having a chance to go back Dalat in a near future. 

Last summer, I went to Cua lo with my family. We went there by  car, it is very far from my house, it is about 400 km, so we were very tired, but at one we felt better when we saw the sea.

Cua lo beach is really interesting, the beach is very large, flat, and it has a lot of sand. Waves are very strong, you will be very excited when you play with it. There are  a lot of beauty spots,  and good seafood there

We stayed in Binh Minh hotel. It was a very nice and comfortable hotel, it’s also rather near the sea.

The weather was hot and sunny all day. The sea was cool and clear, because it was very windy in the afternoon. We went swimming twice a day. My children was excited about it. The food was extremely delicious but not very expensive.

          We took a lot of Photograps of the sea, bought a lot of seafood especially octopus and some sea present for our relatives

After a week in Cua lo beach we felt happy and stronger.

We hope to go there again.

Hè vừa rồi, tôi có một kì nghỉ hè đáng nhớ cùng gia đình tại Đà Lạt. ĐL cách thành phố HCM khoảng 300 cây số về hướng bắc. Thành phố này nổi tiếng bởi khung cảnh nên thơ, thời tiết trong lành và nhiều món ăn ngon. Hơn nữa, nó được biết đến như thành phố tình yêu ở VN bởi thu hút rất nhiều cặp đôi tham quan và khung cảnh yên bình tuyệt đẹp. Khi gia đình tôi tới, chúng tôi thuê một phòng khách sạn ngay trung tâm thành phố gần hồ Xuân Hương và đi dạo bên bờ hồ mỗi tối. Ngoài ra, chúng tôi còn tham gia vào rất nhiều hoạt động giải trí ngoài trời như: đi chợ đêm, vườn hoa và ăn nem uống sữa đậu nành. Chị tôi và tôi còn mua rất nhiều quà lưu niệm tại các của hàng để làm quà tặng bạn bè và người thân. Vào ngày thứ hai, cả gia đình tham quan làng đất sét- mô hình thu nhỏ của ĐL xưa và nay. Công trình này là một tuyệt tác nghệ thuật thu hút không chủ khách VN mà còn du khách nứơc ngoài. ĐL còn có núi Langbiang cho mọi người đi bộ và thưởng thức thịt nướng ngay trên đỉnh núi. Tuy nhiên, gia đình chúng tôi chọn cách di chuyển bằng xe zip bởi vì không ai muốn mệt mỏi khi leo tới đỉnh núi. Đó là một cuộc thưởng ngoạn tuyệt vời. Vào những ngày tiếp theo, chúng tôi có dịp tham quan nhà kì quái, từng thuộc về bà Hằng Nga- con gái bí thư Trường Chinh. Ngôi biệt thự có kiến trúc lạ với phong cách độc đáo như những toà lâu đài huyền bí. Khách du lịch rất ấn tượng trước ngôi nhà này. Sau 1 tuần ở ĐL chúng tôi quay trở về nhà. Bố mẹ lại quay lại làm việc tại văn phòng còn tôi bắt đầu 1 năm học mới. Đó là kì nghỉ thực sự thú vị và tôi mong sẽ có dịp được quay trở lại ĐL.

Everybody loves holidays because during our holidays we can relax and have fun. We get enough time to travel, play our favorite sports and prace our hobbies. My Favorite holiday is Last Holiday. Below I will tell you about my last holiday.

I had always dreamed about going to XYZ (name of a city) and near places. On 27th July I , my family departed ABC (name of a district) towards our first destination, XYZ . As soon as we reached there after a long journey, I was stunned by the beautiful scenic views that I only saw in pictures. I was totally lost in the scenic views that I forgot to blink my eyes. We stayed in the 5-star hotel in front of the beach. Next day, we hired a boat for a trip to see small islands. It was simply amazing.We swam all day and return our Hotel. Following day we hired a car and saw historical place, visited museum and doing shopping. It was a beautiful and excited.The holiday was a perfect.

We did so many activities which included Swimming, Football, Scuba diving, Boat trip,Visiting museum, Paragliding etc. We also watched the sunrise of BBB summit, it was very roman. It was the most amazing and spectacular experience of my life that I was stunned by God’s creation of a heaven- place on earth. Our journey ended on 4th of August. On our way back we traveled by bus again. During the trip I thought, ‘Those days were amazing and unforgettable, I wished if I had more days to spend over there’. 

My holiday was exciting and full of joy. I enjoyed it immensely. I am looking forward to going there again soon.

The summer holidays are the best time to relax and enjoy with family and friends, this is a time I have always been looking forward to waiting for every year. These summer vacations are very special for me as it is my first time spending time with my colleagues. We had a good time in Vung Tau - the city with the best beaches in Vietnam. We stayed for 2 days in a small but convenient motel. The first day, we got up early to watch the sunrise on the beach. It was the brightest thing I have ever seen. After that, we swam and lay on the sand enjoying the beautiful sun and clear blue skies. We also tasted delicious seafood and fresh coconut water. Next day we took about 30 minutes to walk to Little Mountain to visit the lighthouse. But it really doesn't work! The lighthouse offers a panoramic view of Vung Tau city and is a really interesting place. On top of a small mountain, there is a huge statue of Jesus, 28 meters high, overlooking the South China Sea. This is the largest sculpture of South Vietnam. The statue's shoulder is also a series of balconies, each of which can accommodate up to six people, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The weather during our stay was very nice and the locals were very friendly. We have taken a lot of photos to preserve this memorable vacation and we also bought a lot of souvenirs. I have a lot of good memories of the whole trip. All good, but what makes the trip even more wonderful is the fact that I have built stronger relationships with my colleagues.

Anyone can enjoy summer vacations the way they like. However, according to me the best way to enjoy summer vacation is to learn or read something. Also, learning and reading not only help you in your school and college life but also proved very useful in the future. But everyone has their opinion about enjoying the summer vacation. Did not know how now, beautiful golden apricot trees appeared before me at home. Just remember that brief, his grandfather brought it on when going out New Year market. Listen to your mother said, was to bring it about, it's really very small. Yet now, it was a beautiful apricot trees, charming. Radiating trunk branches each branch is a lot of fresh flowers. The petite flower buds are pink sapphire carrier shy, waiting to be uncovered. Each flower bud is a red flame, miracles brought to light last year.
Every year the festival is bordered on two brothers with stripped leaves the airport tomorrow. Old leaves, young leaves, fallen leaves as many as sifting down, covering the whole tree. It looks like a green carpet. When stripped of all leaves, apricot trees are left bare body carrying a plate full of flower buds. nearly 29 festival, apricot trees start to grow leaves. The young leaves on the trees gradually grow tight. Foil and velvety.
1st Year, apricot trees begin to flower. The shy bud any day now in full bloom, showing bright yellow sheet of it in the sun shimmering on New Year's. In mai petals spreading wide. When the wind comes, apricot flowers sent away by the wind and slightly sweet fragrance of it. Ecstatic aroma, can not describe the appeal of it. And every time the wind through the surf, the gently flew off tomorrow with the wind, beautiful magical fairy paintings. When the wind settled that, the flowers come again fell to the ground, forming a carpet of gold as the sun cover.
1st Year, three to play, choose a beautiful apricot branches into evidence at the altar grandmother. It's nothing more beautiful. It is through this that the lunar new apricot trees, the family has received many admiring eyes and admiration.

Tet is festival important in Viet nam, It bring so big special significance with Vietnamese people when there, all the people in family will gather together and share a lot of things fun or sad from there, all people will strengthen solidarity. I love Tet because when come Tet, I also have lucky money althought I'm a adults. Special, Tet days will eat many foods I liked
