Olympia is one of my favorite TV show. This is a television knowledge contest for high school students. It is always shown on VTV 3 at 13 o'clock every Sunday. Candidates are the best students in the country. MC is quite charming and beautiful lady. The program also has a team of consultants who are experienced teachers. In the program, there are 4 competitions, which in turn is the start, the obstacle, accelerate and the goal. Every competition is very interesting and exciting, it requires students not only knowledge from books but also social knowledge. Contestants do not only have knowledge but also must have both brave and self-confidence. The students, parents go cheer for the contestants are very enthusias. In the contestants, competitor that I most is Lam Vu Tuan, he is very talented and funny. My biggest dream is to study well and paripate in the program compete for knowledge.

Thí sinh dự thi không chỉ có kiến thức mà phải hội tụ cả bản lĩnh và sự tự tin. Các bạn học, cha mẹ đi cổ vũ cho thí sinh rất nhiệt tình. Trong các thí sinh dự thi, em thích nhất anh Lâm Vũ Tuấn, anh rất giỏi và vui tính. Ước mơ lớn nhất của em là học tập thật giỏi và tham gia chương trình, tranh tài kiến thức.

I would love to watch cartoons. And in all the movies I've seen, "The Famous Detective Conan" is one of my favorite animated films. It's a story about a great detective and a journey of revenge to find yourself. It was adapted from the famous comic book of the same name by Aoyama Gosho. Talk about the crime story but it still has a bit of love. It makes the reader curious as to little by little discovering the case. Each episode has a separate case that does not coincide with previous episodes and does not cause boredom. It is really a good movie and story book for anyone who likes the crime thriller. I like to listen to music because it helps me work comfortably when tired. Or talk to your friends, just like this makes me feel comfortable and not too much cornered the work.

 One of my hobbies is listening to music, especially English songs. My hobby started when I was a first – year student at Da Nang University of Technology. I spend much time on it. I can listening when I am doing my housework such as clean the floor, wash clothes, wash dish…or when I sleep…I love Taylor Swift, Rihana…they are great singers. I can learn English vocabulary when listening to English songs and it also make me feel relaxed.

I think it a good hobby and I will never stop it.

Một trong những sở thích của tôi là nghe nhạc, đặc biệt là các bài hát tiếng anh. Sở thích của tôi bắt đầu có khi tôi là sinh viên năm thứ nhất tại Đại học Bách khoa Đà Nẵng. Tôi dành nhiều thời gian cho nghe nhạc khi đang làm việc nhà như quét nhà, giặt quần áo hay rửa bát…hoặc khi tôi ngủ. Tôi thích Taylor Swift và Rihana…họ là những ca sỹ rất tuyệt vời. Tôi có thể học từ vựng tiếng anh khi nghe nhạc và nó cũng làm tôi cảm thấy thư giãn nữa.

Tôi nghĩ đó là một điều tốt và tôi sẽ không bao giờ từ bỏ nó.

I think listening to music is my hobby. I love listening to all kind of music when I do my housework, when I do not have anything to do, or even when I have meal. I love all kinds of music; country, pop, rock and roll, and other kind of music. I am interested in hearing them because all songs bring me back my lovely memories. And they bring me energy to clean my sould. Most of the time, I love listening to music to relax my body. The music can make everything funier. Listening to some new songs is awesome. You can see the life is more beautiful

At school I learn many subjects but English is my favourite. I like learning English because som of reasons. First of all, English is an interesting subject. I can enjoy and undrstand many song that I like. I can read stories and watch movies in English. Beside English is an international language. Learning English well help me know many things around us and over the world. It can help me learn other subject easily. More over, I needs for future job. I want to be a tour guide in the future, in order to communicate with foreigners, therefour English is my favourite subject, I will try my best to learn English well.

My favorite hobbies is discovering and reading books. I’m interested in reading books when I have free time it or when I have class assignments. I love reading books that are mystery, scary, or comedy. Reading comedy book is very fun for me because it can make me laugh. Mystery books bring me wondering. Scary books can terrify me and sometimes it can make me can not sleep at night. Reading book at home warms up my brain for school, and also makes my reading better. I love reading and hearing stories of all kinds. No matter if the story is real or fantasy, I would probably like it. This’s my last reason of why I like doing this hobby, reading.

Tôi vô cùng hứng thú khi nhắc đến việc đọc sách nhất là khi tôi có thời gian rảnh rỗi hay khi tôi có bài nghiên cứu trên lớp. Tôi thích đọc các loại sách bí ẩn, đáng sợ, hoặc truyện hài. Đọc cuốn sách hài hước là rất thú vị đối với tôi vì nó có thể làm cho tôi cười. Các cuốn sách bí ẩn mang lại cho tôi nhiều điều cần suy ngẫm. Cuốn sách đáng sợ có thể làm tôi hoảng sợ và và đôi khi nó có thể làm cho tôi không thể ngủ vào ban đêm. Đọc sách giúp bạn hoạt động trí não cho các hoạt động ở trường học, và cũng làm cho khả năng đọc của tôi nâng cao hơn. Tôi thích đọc và những tất cả các thể loại sách. Kể cả các câu chuyện là có thật hay viễn tưởng đều làm tôi thích thú. Đây có thể là lý do lý do tại sao tôi thích đọc sách đến vậy.

Almost every body has some kinds hobbies, my hobbies is reading books because of the following reasons. Firstly, reading books help me find a lot of useful information, I can lurn many things from reading books, I lurn many life experiences, I can get a lot of useful information about people, life, tradition, customs and cultural of many countries in the world, this makes me broaden my mind, enrich knowladge. Secondly, reading books is a cheap activiti. I can borrow books from my friend or my teacher. Finally, reading books helps me study many subjects at school better. Every day I always spend an our in the evening reading books. I thing reading books is very useful for to get information. I hope there will be many people who are have the same hobby as me.

My best friend is my classmate at school. She and I have been studying together since we entered school in kindergarten. We have studied together all these years. We also travel by the school bus together because we stay close to each other. Her home is only a ten minute walk from my place.

My friend is kindly and sweet-natured. We are always happy to be with each other. We enjoy studying, playing and eating together. If I am sad she will do all she can to make me smile and feel happy.

She has always been kind and helpful to me. When I miss school because I am unwell she comes to my place to share with me all that has been done at school. When she misses school I too help her with all that has been covered at school. We also play badminton together in the evenings.

My bedroom is the most comfortable place in my house. It becomes my favorite room since I lived in this house five years ago. Actually it is not too large, the width is just 4 x 4 meters, but it is clean enough. It looks like a small cottage with a bed placed in the corner of this room. The color of the bed cover is pink, so soft and calm. On this bed, there are a pillow, a bolster, and 15 cute dolls that always accompany me when I am sleeping. If you enter to my bedroom, you can see a table and a chair next to the bed as my place for study. You can feel the wind blowing from a big window that always make my room cosy and bright near the bed. You can also see a beautiful garden that is full of wonderful flowers from this window. It can change your bad mood to become more cheerful. At the opposite of the window, there is a large cupboard with Bali’s carving. The carving is so smooth and gorgeous. It looks like a carving in the great temple. If you see around my bedroom, you will find a colorful wall. It is combination of attractive colors like pink, violet and blue. The colors are mixed perfectly and it shows the girlie room. It is also completed with some artificial flowers near the window that decorate my room beautifully. I like to spend my time in this room. For me my bedroom is my little palace.

My school is ten kilometers away from my home, and I go by the school bus every morning. I love to go to school. I learn so many new things at school every day. There are many different subjects I study at school. I study languages like Sanskrit, Hindi and English, and other subjects like mathematics, science and social studies.

My school is very beautiful. There are nice, lush gardens with beautiful plants and trees. In spring time the blooming flowers are a spectacle. My school has a well equipped library, and I enjoy reading books. There are also computers in the school for our use.

I love my school and my teachers. My teachers are very caring. They teach us with a great deal of patience, and they want us to become good and responsible human beings. I want to make my school and my teachers proud of me.

I want to tell you about my best friend, her name is Hieu. We were classmate during our five years at Le Van Tam primary school.

Hieu is tall but slim. She has long black hair and big bright eyes make i feel she is so beautiful and attract me. That thing makes she very good-looking. I and Hieu had many things in common, especially is our hobbies. We to read books, listen to music, see film and walk in the park together.

She has a kind heart and cheerful with everyone, Hieu outgoing with any hard students so everyone loves her a lot. She is very cautions in working or studying, so any test, she is always at the top. Hieu is good at every subject but she never complacent, opposite Hieu always tries to learn harder.She is my real friend.

We share together about family. Hieu is expansive so she shares with me everything about her family. Hieu's family is not rich. Her father is a welder, her mother is a housewife but she is a good student so her parents to be proud of her.

In the future, although i'm where, Hieu always my true friend.

I have a best friend. She went to the same high school as me. We sit at the same table together. Her name is Thuy. She is tall and beautiful. Thuy has a lot of pursuers, but she doesn’t love anyone. She has a very good academic record. At the same time, she also has a very good voice. When my school has a program, she will join. I was impressed by her confidence and friendliness. She often tells me funny stories. Every time I have a sad story I will tell her. She knows how to comfort others. I always feel better after talking to her. She is a kind girl who helps out with friends. She sings well, but her hobby is drawing. Although she is not good at drawing, she is constantly trying.
