Fiona is my neighbor. She turned twelve recently and her parents held a birthday party for her. I was one of those invited.

The party began at about three in the afternoon. There were about twenty of us children gathered in Fiona's house. We were all dressed in our best clothes. Everyone, especially Fiona, wore a happy smile.

We gave our presents to Fiona and she happily opened them. It must really be exciting to receive all those presents.

After that Fiona's mother served us soft drinks and delicious tidbits. We then played some games like "Musical Chairs" and "Treasure Hunt". The winners were given prizes.

At about four-thirty Fiona's mother brought out the birthday ***e. It was beautifully decorated with pink and white icing. Twelve colorful candles sat in the middle of the ***e. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to Fiona after which she blew out the candles and cut the ***e. We clapped out hands eagerly.

We helped ourselves to slices of the delicious ***e. Then we continued our games.

Finally at about six in the evening the party came to an end. We were all tired but happy. The parents of the other children came to collect them. I helped Fiona and her mother clean up the mess we made. After that I walked home which was only two doors away

I would like to talk about a birthday celebration that I attended 2/3 months ago. It was one of my friends' birthday who turned 25 that day. My friend's name is Ryan and his parents wanted to celebrate his birthday just before his departure to the United Kingdom. Ryan invited almost all of his close friends and 6-7 of us attended the birthday celebration together. Apart from us, there were as many as 100 other people present on the occasion. I did not know most of them but my guess is that they would be mostly Ryan's relatives, neighbours and his father's colleagues.

The party was celebrated at my friend's house at (...tell a city name....). We went there together and bought a present for the Ryan. After reaching there, Ryan and his parents warmly welcomed us. Later on, Ryan introduced us to his relatives and to some of his neighbours. We were astonished when we saw the huge birthday cake. 25 candles of different colours were lit around the cake and the whole house was redecorated for the occasion. Anybody could say that some occasion was going on in this house without knowing anything.

We sang the birthday song when Ryan cut the cake. We congratulated him and wished him a prosperous life ahead. Then we ate cake and had a good feast. The foods were delicious and good. We, friends of our circle, went to visit a nearby place and sang different songs. In the evening we went to Ryan's house again and attended a raffle draw. That was a very exciting part of the birthday celebration. Then after few minutes we left the party and went our homes.

It doesn’t walk, it jumps. It is vegeterian and it’s favourite food are carrots.

To make the air cleaner, people should take a bus or bicycle to minimize the amount of smoke emitted by the air to pollute the air. And in the measures, the use of recycled items is quite common: reusable plastic bottles, paper, ... to make everyday items. Does everyone feel the environment is heavily polluted? Because of a green environment - clean and beautiful, each contributes a little bit of energy to protecting the environment.

1. My dream house is a large villa. It is near the coast, surrounded by rows of coconut trees and the blue sea. There are sixteen rooms in my house and half of them for relaxation and entertainment. It has a big garage so that I can store my super cars trere. My house has wind power or solar energy. I use hi-tech and automatic machines such as a smart clock, morden fridge, automatic dishwasher and washing machine. They can be controlled by voice and help me tell the time, forecast weather, preserve food and wash dishes and clothes. There is a super smart TV in my house. I might surf the internet, watch my favourite TV programme from space or contact friends on other planets by this fantasic TV. I might also join online classes on TV and not have to go to school.

My name is Quynh. I’m from Vietnam. I live in Quang Tri Province, Hai Lang District. I was born in January 14^th 2005. I’m 12 years old. I go to Hai Lang Secondary school. I like cycling most because it gives me freedom. I don’t like playing games because it's not good for our health. In my free time, I often learn on hoc24. After school, I often play badminton with my friends or just read book and listen to music. My best friend is Anh because she is funny, polite, kind and active. My favourite subject is Art because I like drawing. My favourite kpop group is BTS because their songs aren`t just cheesy love\break-up songs, but instead touch some really important subjects - youth, temptation, education, death. Their choreography is always on point, their relationship is good, too. I have one brother. In the future, I’d like to become a tour-guide. I like it because of the following reasons. Firstly, being a tour-guide, I can have a chance to travel to many different places in our country as well as around the world. I will know a lot of people and their cultures. Secondly, because I am fond of eating, I will be able to enjoy many kinds of food such as pho, sushi from Japan, curry from India and spicy soup from Thailand. Finally, it is a hot career nowadays and people can earn a lot of money through this job. To sum up, to be a tour guide is the best choice for my future job.

If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.

What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.
