A bowl of noodles with white noodles, pieces of pig’s trotters… will make unique impression about Hue cuisine. The major ingredient to cook “bun bo Hue” is beef and pork. Beef is chosen carefully, pork would be taken from elbow down to the pig’s feet. Then take them washed, shaved pork, boiled them about half an hour. The broth is prepared by simmering beef bones and beef shank with lemongrass and then seasoned with fermented shrimp sauce and sugar for taste. Spicy chili oil is added later during the cooking process. My best friend is my classmate at school. She and I have been studying together since we entered school in kindergarten. We have studied together all these years. We also travel by the school bus together because we stay close to each other. Her home is only a ten minute walk from my place.

My friend is kindly and sweet-natured. We are always happy to be with each other. We enjoy studying, playing and eating together. If I am sad she will do all she can to make me smile and feel happy.

She has always been kind and helpful to me. When I miss school because I am unwell she comes to my place to share with me all that has been done at school. When she misses school I too help her with all that has been covered at school. We also play badminton together in the evenings.

My bedroom is the most comfortable place in my house. It becomes my favorite room since I lived in this house five years ago. Actually it is not too large, the width is just 4 x 4 meters, but it is clean enough. It looks like a small cottage with a bed placed in the corner of this room. The color of the bed cover is pink, so soft and calm. On this bed, there are a pillow, a bolster, and 15 cute dolls that always accompany me when I am sleeping. If you enter to my bedroom, you can see a table and a chair next to the bed as my place for study. You can feel the wind blowing from a big window that always make my room cosy and bright near the bed. You can also see a beautiful garden that is full of wonderful flowers from this window. It can change your bad mood to become more cheerful. At the opposite of the window, there is a large cupboard with Bali’s carving. The carving is so smooth and gorgeous. It looks like a carving in the great temple. If you see around my bedroom, you will find a colorful wall. It is combination of attractive colors like pink, violet and blue. The colors are mixed perfectly and it shows the girlie room. It is also completed with some artificial flowers near the window that decorate my room beautifully. I like to spend my time in this room. For me my bedroom is my little palace.

My school is ten kilometers away from my home, and I go by the school bus every morning. I love to go to school. I learn so many new things at school every day. There are many different subjects I study at school. I study languages like Sanskrit, Hindi and English, and other subjects like mathematics, science and social studies.

My school is very beautiful. There are nice, lush gardens with beautiful plants and trees. In spring time the blooming flowers are a spectacle. My school has a well equipped library, and I enjoy reading books. There are also computers in the school for our use.

I love my school and my teachers. My teachers are very caring. They teach us with a great deal of patience, and they want us to become good and responsible human beings. I want to make my school and my teachers proud of me.

Vietnam is famous for its several holiday and festival, especially Tet holiday. It takes place from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar until at least the third day. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience.

I want to tell you about my best friend, her name is Hieu. We were classmate during our five years at Le Van Tam primary school.

Hieu is tall but slim. She has long black hair and big bright eyes make i feel she is so beautiful and attract me. That thing makes she very good-looking. I and Hieu had many things in common, especially is our hobbies. We to read books, listen to music, see film and walk in the park together.

She has a kind heart and cheerful with everyone, Hieu outgoing with any hard students so everyone loves her a lot. She is very cautions in working or studying, so any test, she is always at the top. Hieu is good at every subject but she never complacent, opposite Hieu always tries to learn harder.She is my real friend.

We share together about family. Hieu is expansive so she shares with me everything about her family. Hieu's family is not rich. Her father is a welder, her mother is a housewife but she is a good student so her parents to be proud of her.

     As you know, different people have different tastes in music. Personally, I like all types of music, but my favourite music is piano music because the melodies are gantle and deep. Listening to piano music makes me fell better after hard-working hours. The first school plays an important part in the impression of a child. To me, it’s Nguyen Thai Hoc primary school that grow me up. It is located at Ba Cu street, which is always busy in rush hour. I remember the first day going to school, I spend much of my time discovering the school instead of fear or newness to surrounding. There are a great number of classrooms equipped with new desk, wood table, large board, fan and modern projector. On the yard, there are many big evergreen trees, which provide shade to avoid the heat of summer. Terminalia catappa and flamboyant are two main kinds of tree in school area. Especially, in summer, the flamboyant blooms red flower and the student always pick and put it in a notebook so as to keep memory of their school. Besides, the school is known for its educational quality with a group of well-qualified and devoted teachers. At school, the student has a chance to acquire thorough knowledge of all subjects. Therefore, everyday going to school is happiness. Since we not only study in friendly environment but also play in cosy atmosphere. Although I no longer learn at the school, it obtains a lasting impression about my childhood with good friends.

Hơn nữa, trường học được biết đến bởi chất lượng giảng dạy với đội ngũ giáo viên được đào tạo tốt và cống hiến với nghề. Ở trường, hoc sinh có cơ hội tiếp thu nhiều kiến thức về mọi lĩnh vực. Bởi thế, mỗi ngày đến trường là một niềm vui bởi vì chúng tôi không những được học tập trong môi trường than thiện mà còn vui chơi trong không gian ấm cúng. Mặc dù tôi không còn học ở trường nữa, tôi vẫn còn những án tượng sâu sắc về ngôi trường và những người bạn ở đây.

Teacher plays an important role in every child’s soul. To me, miss Dung-my head teacher. She taught literature from grade 10 to 12. She is tall, young, slim body with round face and bright smile. She is a devoted and responsible teacher as she always prepares carefully all the lessons before going to class. She teaches us the way to love people and becoming a good citizen for the country. Moreover, student love the way she teach, mark the score and correct the mistake. In my opinion, she is not only my teacher but she also works as my second mother at school. She helps student through thick and thin in life. Whenever facing up with any problem, I have no hesitation to share with her then she finds out the best solution or gives me some helpful advice. Additionally, if we don’t attend the class for some reasons, she immediately contacts us and asks whether we are fine. It seems that she spend her youth to learn and give deep knowledge to young generation and she really enjoys the job. Most of the time she spend for taking care of children from education to daily life. She is one of my idols because of her talent, personality and career. Therefore, almost student look up to her and thank her for kindness and responsibility.
