From my understanding our parents don’t need money or giving them material things. I believe what would make them happy is to see us becoming upright and responsible individuals who can take care of themselves. Or when we study well, for instance score good grades at school, and most importantly work hard and succeed in our daily activities. Or being self-reliant, accountable, focused and respectful, we give our parents a sense of gratitude that their parenting role was worth the effort. In the above ways, my parent will feeling proud of us, they feel their efforts are not in vain. I think this would be the best way to repay them back for their love and sacrifices.

We are having an interesting time in Hoi An. The streets here are so narrow that cars are not allowed to the center of the town. Therefore we have to walk. The houses are very old but beautiful.
