         Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

We live in a small house in the center of Hanoi. My house is small but it is very beautiful. There are 3 floors in the house and it has 3 bed rooms, one kitchen and living room together, others is bed rooms. It is not a fantas house but comfortable. In my bedroom, we has bed, wardrobe, a piano, desk and computer, TV, CD payer…. The living room is small but it is very nice and the kitchen is very convenient. In bed room of my children, there is bed, desk and or wardrobe. In fact, it has very litter of decorating things pictures or painting. I prefer the comfortable than the fabilous. My house also has a small garden with some trees and flowers that my husband is planted. My house isn’t large but it very beautiful, and I love this house so much. My husband and I had try so much to get it and the most important thing it is the place where all members of my family share the happiness and sadness and hurts together.

Describing my house

My mother is a person I admire most. She devoted a lot of time and energy to the upbringing of my brother and I. Despite working hard, she always made time to teach us many useful things which are necessary and important in our later lives. Moreover, she is a good role model for me to follow. She always tries to get on well with people who live next door and help everyone when they are in difficulties, so most of them respect and love her. I admire and look up to my mother because she not only brings me up well but also stands by me and gives some help if necessary. For example, when I encounter some difficulties, she will give me some precious advice to help me solve those problems. She has a major influence on me and I hope that I will inherit some of her traits. I want to say one thing with her: "I love you so much, the best mother"

Do you have someone who is great, spends time with you, cares for you, and is an important person? Well, I do, and she has black hair, brown eyes, and a caring touch. That’s my mom.

My mom talks to me about many things. One of the things she talks to me about is what will happen when I grow up. She tells me what to do in case of an emergency. And one day I had a really bad day with my friends, and she told me what to do about it.

My mom and I spend a lot of time together. We play games, bake cookies, make necklaces, and draw doodle tricks. But our favorite thing to do is read. Our favorite book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.

Mom takes me shopping at the mall. We buy toys and clothes, and we eat at the café. We usually get Chinese food or go to a McDonald’s restaurant. When we ride the escalator, my mom pretends to fall back and says, “My shoestring’s stuck!”

My mom always laughs, and when she laughs she sounds a hyena gone crazy! She doesn’t laugh every day, but when she does, it’s hilarious, and I have to laugh, too!

My mom is the greatest. I love how she jokes around. She is always fun no matter what, and she gives me great advice. My mom is more than a mom; she is my best friend.

This is my room. The room is not too large, its area is only about 16m. On the left side of the room there is a bed. On the right side of the room there is a wardrobe and next to the wardrobe there is a fan. Opposite the door there is the shelf and next to the shelf there is desk. Under the desk there is a small drawer where I put the bag and all my school supplies in . My father s the light color so he paints it blue. On the walls, there are two glass windows as a result the room is always full of light. This is probably the largest room in the house and quite convenient. The floor is covered with a soft purple velvet rug. In the center of the room is a beige sofa, sitting on it feels very soft. Next to it is the glass shelf to contain TV. I put on it a lot of teddy and a flower vase to decorate. The left corner of the room is a wooden cabinet, with many drawers. The largest drawer is the place my father storage wine, there are many types of wine such as claret, vodka, .... In other drawers, mother puts many books, photos, certificate of merit and have a desktop phone, all are arranged neatly. At the ceiling there is a colorful chandelier, it is often turned on the holidays, celebrations. On the wall, I hang a lot of artwork to decorate the room. In the corner of the room, this is also the place where I love best because there is a small aquarium. Mother bought so many colorful fishes such as sailfish, carp. Every day, I supply them with food so they look so chubby. All members in our family love this room so much, we keep it always clean and neat. In the future, it will definitely be furbished more, becomes more comfortable to welcome the members back home after a stressful day.

Nhà mình có rất nhiều phòng nhưng có lẽ đẹp nhất là phòng khách. Nó nằm ở tầng trệt, thông với cửa ra vào, nhà bếp và phòng ăn. Bố mình thích màu sáng nên đã sơn nó màu xanh da trời. Trên những bức tường, có hai cửa sổ bằng thủy tinh bởi vậy căn phòng luôn tràn ngập ánh sáng. Đây có lẽ là phòng rộng nhất nhà và khá tiện nghi. Nền nhà được phủ bởi một tấm thảm nhung màu tím rất mềm mại. Ở chính giữa căn phòng là bộ sô pha màu be, ngồi lên nó rất êm ái. Cạnh đó là kệ thủy tinh để kê TV. Mình để trên đó rất nhiều gấu bông và một lọ hoa để tô điểm. Góc trái của phòng là một chiếc tủ gỗ, có rất nhiều ngăn. Ở ngăn to nhất là nơi đựng rượu của bố, có rất nhiều loại rượu như là rượu nho, vodka. Ở những ngăn khác, mẹ đựng biết bao nhiêu là sách, ảnh, bằng khen và có cả một chiếc điện thoại để bàn, tất cả đều được sắp xếp một cách ngay ngắn. Trên trần nhà là một chiếc đèn chùm sặc sỡ sắc màu, nó thường hay được bật lên vào các dịp lễ tết, tiệc mừng. Trên các bức tường, mình treo rất nhiều những bức ảnh nghệ thuật để tô điểm cho căn phòng. Nơi góc phòng, đây cũng là nơi mình thích nhất vì có một bể cá nhỏ. Mẹ mua biết bao những em cá sặc sỡ sắc màu, nào là cá cờ, cá chép. Mỗi ngày, mình đều cho chúng ăn nên con nào nhìn cũng rất mũm mĩm. Mọi người trong nhà đều rất thích căn phòng này, giữ cho nó luôn sạch sẽ và gọn gàng. Trong tương lai, chắc chắn nó sẽ được tu sửa thêm, ngày càng trở nên tiện nghi hơn để đón những thành viên trong nhà trở về sau một ngày căng thẳng.

I often call (viết tên trường vào đây mà nhớ là không viết dấu nha, vẫn viết hoa câu đầu) Primary School is my second home. School children, though not very large but very spacious and clean. High school entrance and spacious,the two sides is the flower corridor leads straight to the playground and the classroom. School Grounds are wide, around the yard Poinciana trees and ancient shade cover, with flower beds and lawns green. Listed under the tree row of stone for us to read books and talk after each lesson. The classrooms are full of tables and chairs, cabinets for learning and also exhibited the post office corner, nice arle. In addition, you also have the other classrooms as music room, computer science, library, classrooms English. I even loved the school because here we have good friends and the teachers are always interested to teachand impart knowledge to us. I loved my second home!

I am studying in a gifted school of a big city, so my school is a very interesting place to talk about. We have about 20 classrooms which are divided into three stairs, and they are not including rooms for teachers, canteen, sport and computer rooms. All of our classes are equipped with computers, projectors, microphones, loudspeakers, and some of them even have air conditioners. Next to the classroom block is our library. It is pretty big with a lot of books, and sometimes I think that it contains all of the books that one student may need. Behind it is our mini indoor stadium, where we spend our Physical education classes. Since most of the area is used to build rooms, we have very little place for our school yard. It is only enough for us to sit really close to each other to salute the flag on every Monday. There are just some big trees on the yard, and we have some benches under those trees to rest and enjoy the fresh air. Most of the students stay in their classrooms or go to the canteen during break time since we cannot play anything on the school yard. Fortunately, the canteen is big and comfortable enough for us to spend a good time. There are many different kinds of snacks, drinks as well as chairs there, so we can sit there while eating our favorite food. Because this is a gifted school, studying hours can be very stressful. We need to study for about 8 hours a day, and summer vacation only lasts for a month. Although we have to try really hard to be good enough for the school, I am sure we will miss it very much once we graduate.

My favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and paripate in the inter-school competitions.

My favorite sport is badminton. I playing it because I think it is a good sport. Every sport will make people feel hot and uncomfortable, but when you play badminton, you will be comfortable because in the badminton court, there are many air-conditioners.

I usually play badminton on Sunday. I always play with my friend, Linh. She is good at badminton. But I am not very good at this sport so when we play badminton, she hits the ball on my both sides. She makes me run and run, and I feel very tired. Sometimes I must jump high to hit the ball to the opposite side.

Although this makes me tired, I still always practise because I will be healthier and fitter than before. Anyway, I think badminton is the best sport.

In my freetime, I love to dance. When I was a little girl I danced all the time. My mother put me in dance school  when I was 3 years old. My first dance dress was pink and it was love a ballet dress. Our dance group’s firts show was when we were 5 years old. We looked pinguis. In 9 years we have had a lot of dance shows. I have danced for 9 years in the same dance company. But now everyone has joined other dance groups.

When I dance I forget everything else and I focus only on danceing. It was relaxing and it makes me happy. I to take care of my body and dancing enhances your condition.

But now when I’m in High school  I do not have time to dance. It’s so sad. I miss dancing . I hope that I have time to dance again day.
