My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.

If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.

I think it is desirable for secondary school students to wear casual clothes when they are at school.

Firstly, casual clothes make all students feel comfortable. They don't feel constrainted to wear uniform that they don not like.

Secondly, for one thing, casual clothes can also give students freedom of choice. They can choose what sizes, colors, and fashions of clothing they love. And for the other, parents do not worry about their clothes because their children can wear any clothing to school as long as it is clean and tidy. I have three friends. Their names are Linh , Ha Anh and Loc. Linh is kind and she likes read book, she can read many book on a day. Among many programs and channels available on TV these days such as the current news programs, sport programs, entertaining programs, educational programs and movie programs, etc., I like the program "the World of Animals" most.
This program is usually shown on VTV2 everyday at 8.30 in the evening. It often lasts about 45 minutes. In this program, stories of the life of many animals in the world are told in a very lively way. At school, I have to learn a lot of subjects such as Maths, Literature, Biology, History, English,....but my favorite subject is English because of these reasons: English is my favorite subject at school for many reasons. Firstly, it's an international language so it's a compulsory subject in most of countries in the world, and study English well gives us more changes to have a better job in future. Secondly, studying English is very fun and interesting, you can study English through books, newspapers or English programme on TV, radio. Finally, speaking English well gives us more confident to speak before everyone not only in English but also in Vietnamese. English is one of the most interesting languages that you should try to study.
