Michael Jackson is one of my favorite singers. He is very famous, so most of all people in the world know him, at least his name. I began to listen to his songs because I was recommended them by my friend, and I was really attracted by them. I have two reasons why I like him.

One of my reasons is that I like his voice and performance as well as his songs, as both “Michael Jackson” and “Jackson Five”. Michael Jackson sings songs very well in his particular high-pitched tone as it can be proved by the big hits of his songs, for example, “THRILLER”, ” BILLIE JEAN” and “MOTOWN 25″ etc, and by the many prizes he got, for instance, the first prize of male pop vocalists, of records and of R&B singers on Grammy in 1984. Besides, he entertains us with his sharp dance great performance like ” moonwalk”. When I listen to his songs in the morning before I go out, I can feel cheerful and powerful. I am a fan of Jackson Five as well. Before he began to sing by himself, he was the main vocalist of Jackson Five. When Michael was eleven years old, their first single CD, “I Want You Back”, was released, and it was a very big hit all over the world. Michael was still little and cute, but his voice was very vigorous and rhythmical. His songs make me happy and energetic.

Another reasons why I like him is that I am interested in his behaviors. There are always some topics around him. For example, he was under suspicion he treated a little boy cruelly, who was ten years old and Michael’s best friend. Michael insisted on his innocence, but he paid 26 million dollars for reconciliation finally. Though he asserted he paid just to settle the commotion, people said he admitted he was guilty. When I saw these news, I considered the problems about child-abuse and human race. How does child-abuse hurt the child’s heart? His or her hurt will not disappear forever. Which human race is inferior or superior? It is not impossible to judge a man by his or her appearance and race. When a famous person such as Michael Jackson has a problem or an event, people all over the world consider it. He always has a topic, which is sometimes worth to think over, so I am very interested in him.

My hobbies are listening to music, watching films and travelling. I love many kinds of music; especially, when I fill myself with the sorrow, I love the songs which can share my sadness. I also watching some US sitcoms such as: How I met your mother, Once upon a time, Sabrina. Additionally, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places with plentiful cuisines and nature, especially walking along the beach in the dusk that make me comfortable and peaceful.

Today is Tuesday, and it is also a special day for me. This morning I started everything with a delicious breakfast from my mother. She cooked me noodle with pork, egg, and vegetables. I went to school with my best friend Trinh, and we just had enough time to talk about our favorite TV show last night. I had a Math test today, so I was a little bit worried when the class started. It turned out that I was able to do well on the test, and I felt so proud about myself for the rest of the day. In the afternoon, I came to Trinh’s house to have lunch with her because her parents rarely came home in the middle of the day. We made a perfect meal from the ingredients that her mother had bought in the morning. We took a quick nap before having some other classes at school. We had a Physical Education class; today we learn how to have a badminton match. Trinh and I were a team; and although our team failed totally, we had a great time playing outside with other friends. I thought everything was just being ordinary as usual, but I had no idea there was a big surprise that was waiting for me at home. When I first stepped into my house, I saw the entire family gathering around a box in the corner. It turned out that my father had brought home a puppy, and it was the most beautiful creature to me. After finished all of my homework, I ended the day with a cup of hot milk. Now the puppy is sleeping right next to me, and I have to turn off the light so she can sleep peacefully. Today is such a happy day.

Each summer vacation, I am taken to the countryside by my parents so as to relax after a hard working term. I really the life here. In rural areas, there are not as many houses and vehicles as in the city. As the result, the atmosphere is quite fresh and cool. Most people mainly travel by bicycle or on foot. The landscape is very poe and picturesque. There are many gardens, rivers here. We can grow vegetables or chickens, fish,... on our own. The local are very kind, generous and friendly. They are willing to give directions to strangers and help each other in difficult times. Whenever we are away, we can relievedly ask our neighbors to keep our houses and children . Another thing that we especially is that in the countryside, we are reconciled to nature so that the soul is always open and the body is healthy. Living in the countryside is fun and wonderful. In the future, I really want to live here.

In the modern life, there is an increase in the people leave the countryside and migrate to the city. The objective reason is that in the city, it brings them comfortable life and favorite job. Enviroment is the most important thing for our life. Enviroment is the air we breath, the water we drink and is everything we need for our life. But now that most important thing for our life is being polluted and by many different ways. This pollution affects the health of living things. Air is damaged by car and lorry fumes, and power stations create acid rain which destroys entire forests and lakes. When fossil fuels i.e. oil, gas and coal are burned to provide energy for lighting, cooking etc. they form polluting gases. Not only on land but also in the sea, oils spills pollute sea water and kill marine life; chemical waste from factories and sewage works, and artificial fertilisers from farmland, pollute river water, killing wildlife and spreading disease. Everything is being caused by human’s existence. Humans create such a lot of rubbish! Each household produces about 1 tonne of rubbish every year! Most of this is taken away by dustmen and buried in enormous landfill sites or burned in incinerators - both of these actions can be dangerous for the environment. 

But only we can change it and solve it. Pollution can be prevented by thing we do everyday. First we can use recycled paper to help save trees. Second try to avoid buying plas. It's hard to recycle. One way to cut down on plas is to refuse to use carrier bags. If we can’t avoid buying plas bags, we should use re-use plas bags over and over again, until they wear out. Finally we should take your old clothes to charity shops, some are sold. To protect environment we also have to save energy. Use less energy by switching off lights when rooms are not in use, not wasting water; don’t forget to switch off all electric things when they are not in use, use a bicycle or walk instead of using a car for short trips we can save energy, keep clean atmosphere and keep healthy life. Lighting accounts for 10 percent to 15 percent of the electricity bill. However, this amount can be reduced by replacing an ordinary 100-watt light bulb with an energy-saving bulb and we still trying to invent the new thing to save money as well as conserve the Earth’s resources. 

Keep clean environment isn’t only all ways are mentioned before but also to protect natural resources. That is the way to conserver wild life. First we need to conserve the old forest, rainforest, build more safari and national park, and plant more trees to make place to live for wild animals. Second we need to prohibit hunters who hunt animals too many out of the law allowance. 

Finally, we now know that enviroment is the most important thing for life and we know how to protect and use it scientifically. Everyday we invent and find more and more way to protect enviroment. I hope that in the future the earth will be cleaner.
