Last Sunday, my class organized a trip to Son Tinh is land camp. We set off at 5 hours and it took us 3 hours to get there. On arrival, everyone was quite excited and happy. That day, the weather was very beautiful, the air here is fresh. On the island there are many stilt houses and swings. We were assigned to build tents. Then, all of us paripated in some amazing games such as cat chasing mouse, hide and seek, ... Everyone was all excited and active. Someone losing must receive fines, that make the cow face. It looks so funny. On that day, the teacher also celebrated a birthday for some of our classmates. At noon, most people feel hungry, we return to the tent, eat the food prepared from the day before, then, tell stories and sing, take pictures together. In the afternoon, we were cruising by boat. This was the first time I've experienced go on water surface, it feels great. At 5 o'clock, we all had to arrange luggage to come back home. I bought myself some lovely souvenirs. On the way, looking at the island away, I hope that there will be more interesting excursions this.

Chủ nhật tuần trước, lớp mình tổ chức một chuyến đi dã ngoại đến đảo Sơn Tinh camp. Chúng mình xuất phát từ lúc 5 giờ và phải mất 3 tiếng mới đến nơi. Trên đường đi, mọi người đều khá hồi hộp và háo hức. Hôm ấy, trời rất đẹp, không khí trong lành. Trên đảo có rất nhiều nhà sàn và xích đu. Chúng mình được phân công dựng lều. Hôm ấy, cô giáo còn tổ chức sinh nhật cho một số bạn trong lớp. Đến trưa, đa số mọi người đều cảm thấy đói, chúng mình trở về lều, ăn những thức ăn đã được chuẩn bị sẵn từ hôm trước, sau đó, ngồi kể chuyện và ca hát, chụp ảnh chung. Buổi chiều, chúng mình được dạo biển bằng tàu thủy. Đây là lần đầu mình được trải nghiệm đi trên mặt nước, cảm giác vô cùng tuyệt vời. Đến 5 giờ, mọi người phải thu xếp hành lí để trở về, mình mua được một số món quà lưu niệm nhỏ. Trên đường đi, nhìn bóng hòn đảo xa dần, mình mong rằng sẽ có nhiều hơn nữa những chuyến dã ngoại lí thú như vậy.

              Kể về buổi cắm trại

Chủ nhật tuần vừa rồi lớp em tổ chức đi cắm trại ở ngoại thành. Đó là buổi đi chơi để lại trong em nhiều ấn tượng nhất.

Buổi cắm trại được lên kế hoạch cách đó hai tuần, cô chủ nhiệm và tất cả các bạn trong lớp cùng đi. Khi chiếc xe khách dừng ở cổng trường lúc 6h sáng thì tất cả các bạn đều đã có mặt đầy đủ, mang theo thức ăn và đầy đủ nước uống. Cô giáo cũng đến từ rất sớm để tập hợp đội hình để buổi cắm trại có thể diễn ra tốt đẹp nhất.Mọi người ai cũng vui vẻm hào hứng và háo hức vì được xả hơi sau một tuần học hành căng thẳng. Những tiếng hát hò vang lên suốt dọc đường đi. Khi đến nơi, mọi người tìm chỗ nghĩ ngơi và tìm địa hình thuận lợi để cắm trại.

Lớp em căm hai trại, chia thành hai đội. Khoảng đất trống đủ cho lớp em vui chơi, ăn uống và nhảy múa. Khoảng đất này nằm bên cạnh một con suối nhỏ nên rất mát mẻ và thoải mái. Cô giáo yêu cầu các bạn chuẩn bị phông bạt, dây buộc, các hình trang trí, cờ tổ quốc để có thể trang trí trại đẹp nhất.Các bạn rất hăng hái tham gia cắm trại và mỗi người làm một việc nên công việc diễn ra rất suôn sẻ. Những bàn tay khéo léo đã tạo nên hai chiếc trại vừa đơn giản, đủ độ rộng nhưng lại rất đẹp. Không anh tranh giành ai, không anh tỵ nạnh ai, mỗi người một việc cùng làm để có thể hoàn thành tốt công việc được giao.

Buổi cắm trai hôm ấy thời tiết rất mát mẻ nên mọi người không ai thấy mệt, mà còn rất vui nữa. Trại đủ rộng để mọi người vào đó vui chơi, ăn uống và hát hò. Cô giáo rất vui vì tinh thần đoàn kết của lớp rất cao.

Lớp em chuẩn bị rất nhiều thức ăn như bánh kẹo, bim bim, đồ uống, đồ ăn vặt để khi các bạn đói là có thể ăn uống.

Khi mọi người vui chơi thoải mái, thỏa thích thì cũng đến lúc đã ra về. Lớp chúng em ai cũng nuối tiếc vì buổi đi cắm trại rất thú vị.

The summer before my junior year in high school, my family and I took a trip to a completely new world. Being from a small town, I had never really been exposed to the elements of a large city such as New York City. My trip there was discovering an entirely new way of life that I had only heard stories of previously.

For about the tenth time the morning of the flight, I checked my room to make sure I didn’t leave anything essential behind. My stomach was doing flips as we arrived at the airport and made our way to the gate. It didn’t get much better than this: I watched through the window as the runway zoomed by and the buildings and houses became smaller and smaller as the plane gained altitude. An exhilarating feeling overcame me as I realized that I would soon be in one of the most amazing cities of the United States.

As we stood waiting for a taxi outside of the airport, it was immediately apparent to me that New York City was not the same as New Caney, Texas. It seemed everyone there was in a hurry to get to another place. The loud and constant sound of cars honking was heard throughout the entire trip. As soon as a car seemed to be going slower than the person behind him d, he would hear the horn of that car to let him know that he was apparently holding everybody else up! When we found our hotel in Times Square, I noed that it wasn’t just the cars that were in a hurry. Everyone in the streets was walking at a brisk pace that indicated a rush to be somewhere. The transportation of the city was also far different than anything that I had ever been exposed to. In my little town, a bike, a car, or even walking was perfectly suitable for getting around town, but in this foreign land, there were many more ways for one to get to another destination. Everywhere you looked, there were people hailing taxis, waiting on buses, rushing underground to the subway stations, walking franally, or desperately trying to maneuver their own cars through the busy streets. Just standing and watching the many people rushing their own separate ways was an interesting observation.

In addition to the people and transportation, the buildings were also an incredible sight. Each street was crammed with buildings that were built side by side with no room in between them, and a number of skyscrapers were present throughout the city as well. I was awestruck again as we went inside some of these buildings such as the Empire State Building and made our way towards the top. Standing outside of one of the top stories of the Empire State Building was awesome. I could hold the entire city in my hand from this view. I could even see Ellis Island a distance away from there. The stores were also large compared to the ones of my little town. A small retail store in New Caney would be a huge store that took up an entire building in New York. This would make it seem logical that the prices of everything in New York were almost triple those back home. It was as if the little peaceful neighborhood where I lived was magnified by 100 to make up the wonder city of New York.

My visit to New York City was a life changing experience. For the first time in my life, I was exposed to a little taste of what the real world is . The incredible modes of transportation, the huge skyscrapers, and all of the thousands of people made me anxious to grow up and perhaps move to an incredible city such as this one. Either way, my first trip to New York was one of the most incredible experiences of my life, one I will always treasure.

I had always wanted to visit South Korea and I recently had the chance to spend a week in this amazing country. Un its northern neighbor which is pretty much closed to visitors, South Korea is a welcoming and hospitable country. It is an interesting place with a unique culture and a highly developing economy.

I flew into the capital Seoul. On arrival in the city, it was the marked contrast between modern skyscrapers and high design shopping malls and shanty towns that was immediately striking. Wide streets lined by fancy boutiques lead to a labyrinth of narrow alleyways with tiny traditional shops and eateries and there is a clutch of great tourist attractions.

My tour itinerary began on Seoul’s main boulevard, Sejongro, because I wanted to see the Royal Palace (Gyeongbok), the President’s residence, known as Cheongwadae or the Blue House, and the American Embassy. From here it’s a fairly short walk to Bukchon where there is the city’s largest collection of privately owned traditional wooden houses. It’s a charm with beautiful architecture and small courtyards, with the houses interspersed with quaint cafes and art galleries.

Taking the same route the next day, I took a trip into the mountains that peak behind the President’s House, and climbed the one known as Bugaksan. This affords the opportunity to pass through the Sukjeongmun Gate and through the city’s ancient fortress wall. From here the Seoul Fortress is easily accessible and there are also amazing views of Seoul.

Shopping in the Orient is an amazing experience so I made sure to pay a visit to the Shinsegae downtown department store. This huge emporium sells probably everything you can imagine and is a complete charm in the way the bottom floors sell all the basic staples of daily life - including the ubiquitous kimchee (fermented cabbage) and are frequented by Korean housewives while the upper floors cater to the well-heeled and brand conscious. As fascinating as it is, the new rooftop garden is a welcome respite. But, if you are going to shop in Seoul, it’s a must to visit the street stalls and hawkers of the Namdaemum Market where the wares seem to be spread out in a blanket of never-ending stalls. Be prepared to be seriously jostled by the crowds, but it’s also the chance to feast on the best street food.

One of the most surprising sights and a rue delight is the Cheonggyecheon Stream. Running for just under 4 miles through the city, the stream is remarkably quiet given its location, because it is 15 foot below street level. The serene setting, accentuated by waterfalls and bridge is a favorite strolling spot for roman couples.

With a flying visit to Itaewon, the popular ex-pat neighborhood near to the main US army base, my time in Seoul came to an end. I was enthralled and captivated and hope I get to return one day.

Moreover, my house can not be lack of a large garden surrounded by thousands of different colors of flowers and fruits. I it the most when having a breakfast or enjoying night views in my own garden. Simplicity is beauty, this explains why I would prefer an airy space rather than a well- equipped house. However, the house should have basic necessities in the kitchen and bathroom to serve all my demands in daily life. In addition, I will use bright color tones for the whole house, especially my bedroom to make it more spacious. My bedroom will be more perfect and ideal if it has a balcony where i could smell the fragrance from the garden as well as enjoy the sound of the birds in the morning. Besides, I also have an intention of having a small garage and storage. In conclusion, nothing but a suitable house for my lifestyles will fulfill my future dream.

I am living in a apartment with my parents in Hanoi. It is located in the center of Hanoi which you can easily find. The streets are crowded with people but is has a convenient traffic. My apartment looks quite spacious and fresh. To describe my house regarding the design, it is simple as possible as because my parents doesn’t sophisated decoration. There is a living rom, one kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms in my house.

The living room should be the biggest one where my family welcomes friends or entertains together after a long day. In each room, there is an own unique design with a bathroom is always very clean. I my kitchen where my family gathers in ther evening. To me, my house is a place where I feel the best in the world.

After a stressful semester, my parents decide take me to the country to visit grandparents, leave the noise of city behind. Homeland is a small and peaceful land, beside the Red River. The atmosphere here is very fresh, there is no noise, no pollution as in the city I am living. On two sides of the road there are the rows of green trees and birds singing beside the ears. In front of my grandparents’s house is a small garden. Every morning, after sweeping the house, I am taken to the garden to water vegetables, feed chickens. The feeling of watching the little yellow chickens run around the legs is really amazed. In the afternoon, my brother leads me to fly kites on the long dyke with children in the neighborhood. These children also think some interesting games such as chasing, hide and seek ... For me, everything here is new and amazing. After the trip, I know how to swim and learn many many things. I hope next summer parents will take me to visit the grandparents again.

Sau một kì học đầy căng thẳng, mình được bố mẹ cho về quê thăm nội, bỏ lại cuộc sống ồn ào chốn thành thị. Quê nội là một mảnh đất nhỏ bé, thanh bình bên cạnh dòng sông Hồng. Không khí ở đây rất trong lành, không ồn ào, ô nhiễm như ở thành phố mình sống. Hai bên đường là những hàng cây xanh mướt và tiếng chim hót véo von bên tai. Trước sân nhà bà có mộ mảnh vườn nho nhỏ. Mỗi buổi sáng, sau khi quét nhà, mình lại được bà dẫn ra vườn để tưới rau, cho gà ăn. Cảm giác nhìn từng đàn gà nhỏ vàng tơ chạy loanh quanh bên chân thật là thích. Buổi chiều, mình lại được anh dẫn đi thả diều trên chiều đê dài với lũ trẻ con hàng xóm. Bọn trẻ còn bày ra một số trò chơi thú vị như đuổi bắt, bịt mắt bắt dê, ... Đối với mình, mọi thứ ở đây thật mới mẻ và thú vj. Sau chuyến về quê ấy, mình đã biết bơi và còn học được bao điều hay ho khác. Hi vọng hè năm sau bố mẹ sẽ lại cho mình về nội chơi.

Ở nhà, chúng ta chỉ có một con chó, còn mọi người ở đây thì có tới bốn. Chúng ta chỉ có một hồ bơi trong vườn, còn họ có cả một dòng sông. Chúng ta thắp sáng bằng những bóng đèn điện, còn họ đêm đến lại có rất nhiều ngôi sao tỏa sáng. Nhà mình có những cửa sổ nhưng họ có cả một bầu trời bao la.
