I love a quite strange sport for everyone, and it is ping pong. Not many people in Vietnam who are interested in ping pong, and it is also hard to find a place to actually have enough equipment to play it. Ping pong, or it also known as table tennis, consists of two or four players hitting a lightweight ball back and forth on a table. The table is divided in two halves by a net, and it marks the playing zone of each team. The basic rule for amateurs is pretty simple as players need to let the ball touch their side of the table one time before bouncing back. They then hit the ball back to their opponent’s side with a small paddle, and this time the ball also need to touch the other side of the table as well. A point is counted when a player fail to return back the ball, let it touch the net, or make it land outside of the table. Since it is played on a table, so the area is not big enough for us to wait and think about the next move. Therefore, we need to play it with fast reactions and nonstop motions. We only have one second to act the next step right after hitting the ball, and it does not take much time to complete a set. In a competition, and match usually consists of five or seven sets, and the first one to score 11 points wins a set. Many people do not take this sport serious, but I think it is a very good sport to train both of our physical and mental health as we need to be tough and have quick reactions at the same time.

I have many hobbies, but I reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabularies by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tell me about the world's history, let me see the structure of the brain, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activity.

Badminton is one kind of exercising that will make people enjoy it. It’s also good for our health. That’s why, I’m taking badminton as one of my hobby.  
Badminton is a very easy game, everyone can play it. In fact, you can play it anywhere with rackets and a shuttlecock. The shuttlecock is made from goose feathers pushed into a small piece of cork. Badminton rackets are very light. They normally weigh from 90 grams to about 110 grams. The smash of the shuttlecock can travel up to 260km per hour. 
There are six main shots: the serve, the clear, the drop, the smash, the forehand drive and the backhand drive. The court on which badminton is played is in the shape of a rectangle and is divided in half by a net. There are two or four players, each team is on each side of the net.

Badminton takes its name from the home of the Duke of Beaufort, Badminton House in Gloucestershire, England where the first game of badminton was played.  

There are many benefits of playing badminton for our health. It reduces bad cholesterol and increase in good cholesterol and increases the levels of HDL good cholesterol while decreasing the levels of bad cholesterols. When you play badminton, basal heart rate drops a few beats per minute and blood pressure is reduced, which protects you from heart disease. It also can reduce weight for overweigh people and attain optimal weight for their height and age. That’s why it keeps you feeling well, strong, motivated, enthusias and young.

    I don’t sports basically, but badminton are special. I have always been enjoying play that. I’d to continue play this sport as my hobby and have fun.

I think listening to music is my hobby. I love listening to all kind of music when I do my housework, when I do not have anything to do, or even when I have the meal. I love all kinds of music; country, pop, rock and roll, and other kinds of music. I am interested in hearing them because all songs bring me back my lovely memories. And they bring me energy to clean my soul. Most of the time, I love listening to music to relax my body. The music can make everything funnier. Listening to some new songs is awesome. My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the necessary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contains many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

Hello my name is Kiet. Today, I would to introduce about my neighbourhood. My neighbourhood is in Quang Ngai province. It is noisy but it is clean and convenient. There are Shops, Schools, Restaurants, hotels, market and so on. The streets are busy and crowded during the day. I restaurants best because the food are very good. The people here are very friendly and kind. I living here so much because every thing I need is only five minutes away

I live in the suburbs of Nha Trang city. There are many good things about living in my neighbourhood. First, it has beautiful parks, sandy beaches, and sunny weather all year. So, it's very good for outdoor activities and events. Second, the traffic here is also great because the roads are wide and people follow the traffic lights very well. Also, my neighbours are incredibly friendly and helpful. You can make friends with them and ask them for help easily. However, there is one thing I don't about living here. It's quite inconvenient because if you want to hear some live music or watch a movie at the cinema, you have to catch a bus to the city centre. Despite that, I still love living here.

I was born and grew up in a small village of DAI TU district, in THAI NGUYEN province. It is about 150 km from here.

It is a small village because it has only a population of 1000 with a size of 3 square kilometers

There is a  primary school in the village, so it is very convenient for children to go to school. There is a small market with a lot of fresh food. The food here is cheaper and fresher than the one in the city.

My village has some nice view, such as: large fields where we can fly a kite and Cau river, where I could swim and my mother usually wash clother there.

Centre of my village is a khuon ga pagoda, it has a large yard,where we usually play badminton, tabletenis or meet each other to chat, next to the pagoda is a large lake. I going fishing here very much.

Especially, I tea of my hometown a lot, because it very delecious, I usually drink a cup of tea before I start working.

The people in my village are very hospitable, friendly, helpful and generous. They are all hard working people. They mainly live on farming and business…

Being a learner of Tran quoc Tuan university, I only come home once a month , so I miss my hometown very much.

Life in the city is full of activity. Early in the morning hundreds of people rush out of their homes in the manner ants do when their nest is broken. Soon the streets are full of traffic. Shops and offices open, students flock to their schools and the day’s work begins. The city now throb with activity, and it is full of noise. Hundreds of sight-seers, tourists and others visit many places of interest in the city while businessmen from various parts of the world arrive to transact business.

Then towards evening, the offices and day schools begin to close. Many of the shops too close. There is now a rush for buses and other means of transport. Everyone seems to be in a hurry to reach home. As a result of this rush, many accidents occur. One who has not been to the city before finds it hard to move about at this time. Soon, however, there is almost no activity in several parts of the city. These parts are usually the business centres. With the coming of night, another kind of actịvity begins. The streets are now full of colorful lights. The air is cooler and life becomes more leisurely. People now seek entertainment. Many visit the cinemas, parks and clubs, while others remain indoors to watch television or listen to the radio. Some visit friends and relatives and some spend their time reading books and magazines. Those who are interested in polis discuss the latest polial developments. At the same time, hundreds of crimes are committed. Thieves and robbers who wait for the coming of night become active, and misfortune descends upon many. For the greed of a few, many are killed, and some live in constant fear. To bring criminals to juse, the officers of the law are always on the move.

Workers and others who seek advancement in their careers attend educational institutions which are open till late in the night. Hundreds of them sit for various examinations every year. The facilities and opportunities that the people in the city have to further their studies and increase their knowledge of human affairs are indeed many. As a result, the people of the city are usually better informed than those of the village, where even a newspaper is sometimes difficult to get.

The city could, therefore, be described as a place of ceaseless activity. Here, the drama of life is enacted every day.

There are many things to tell about my friends. If I think about friendship, I will think about my best friend firstly. Her name is Hoa, one of my schoolmates and we have known each other since we were 10 years old. Everyone would say she is very pretty if they were to describe how she looks. Since I was better in math and she was better in English, we could help each other if we got confused about a difficult homework assignment.
