I really want to tell you about my friend, one of my best friend is Tuan. We were classmate during our five years at Da Nang University of Technology. He was a good student of my class. Tuan’s family is not rich. His parents are farmers. He often spends most of his free time doing useful things to help his parents. I like Tuan very much because of his honesty and straight forwardness. He is always ready to help his weak friends in their study; as a result, lots of friends, thanks to his whole-hearted help, have become good ones.

I live in Ha Noi, the capital of Vietnam. My neighbourhood has many gardens full with thousands of flowers and trees. In every street, there's no cars or motorbikes. It only has railway stations and bus stops. There's no traffic jam in rush hour. Besides, it also has cinemas with cheap ket fees, beautiful parks and big malls with everything you need. There're some cafe shops that collaborate with bookstores where everyone can relax here. The people are always friendly and hosptitable.

Although the life is very difficult, but the people is very friendly, and studious. In Duc Tho, there is a Tung Anh village where called “Doctor village”. Duc Tho is also the home of Tran Phu Secretary General, and marked many memories of the great leader Ho Chi Minh.
If you come to Duc Tho, you will feel many interesting things, visiting Tran Phu tombstone, La Giang dyke, rowing on La driver, and enjoying the traditional songs. In the evening, they can enjoy a special food which is “mussel rice” – just only eat one time, you will never forget.
Beautiful and unobtrusive! Duc Tho always tries to grow, and to improve the life of people, but keeping the traditional culture.

My neighbourhood is in the center of Cao Lãnh city . There are many places like : pagoda, supermarket, cinema and so on . The people in my neighbourhood are extremely friendly , polite and humorous . There are many trees so the air is always fresh and clear . The streets here are wide , busy and crowed during the day. On the weekends , I often play badminton in Van Mieu Park with my friend . I think my neighbourhood is beautiful and interesting .

I’m writing from the most beautiful and incredible place in the world that I have ever seen during my 15-year career as a travel writer in more than 70 countries. I’m writing to you from Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.

There is a saying that if you have not visited Ha Long Bay you have not yet been to Vietnam. I say that if you have not visited Ha Long Bay you have not yet seen the most beautiful place in the world.

180 km from Hanoi City, towards the northeast, it takes around 4 hours by bus due to the speed limit, and then you will arrive to Ha Long City and the wonderful Ha Long Bay.

1969 limestone islands of various shapes, sizes, and in different green and amazing colors rise above the sea level in an area of more than 1,500 square kilometers that creates this World Heritage site. Ha Long Bay still retains its historical and culture values.

The guide told me that Ha Long Bay has been twice recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1994 and 2000, and also that Ha Long Bay is in second place in the worldwide competition of the World’s Seven Natural Wonders. My high school is located in a small village of a countryside; therefore it is not very big and modern. There are only about one thousand students from grade ten to twelve studying in 16 classrooms, and we have go to school at different hours in a day so there will be enough rooms. Around the school is an empty grass field which will soon be projected as a part of our school, and we hope our little sisters and brothers can have a bigger and more comfortable school to study. The gate is very old and rusty, but it can still keep the students from running outside of the school during break time. Next to the gateway is the parking lot where we park all of our bikes. There are many trees and flowers which have been planted through many generations of students, and today we still keep on planting more of them to have a greener space. Those trees bring a lot of shades to us, which also provide us an ideal playground on break time and after school. There is a small soccer field in the corner, and most of the time the boys have to fight in order to play on it. We do not have a room specialized for studying sports, so we spend our Physical education class right on the school yard. The walls are painted in a light yellow color, but some parts of them had become flaked off due to the impact of time. Despite being old, my school is always clean and tidy thanks to the effort of both students and teachers. We try our best to keep the school as a healthy and friendly environment for everyone. It is not the best school someone can find, but it is still the beloved place for many generations of students include me.

My favorite sport is volleyball. I have been passionate about this sport since I was a boy. Growing up, I used to play with my friends after school every hour. We got together on the volleyball court in the school, then split into two teams to play. Every team tries to score points by hitting the ball over the net, and the ball must touch inside the field. If the team bounces off the pitch, the score belongs to the other team. Additionally, each team can get points when their opponent makes a mistake. I can name a few common mistakes when playing this sport such as: the ball hits the outside of the bounds, the ball hits the arm or the net, throws the ball away or catches the ball, … Volleyball’s intentions seem quite complicated, but we still love to play the sport. It has helped me improve and exercise my own health. Besides, it also helps me feel more at ease after every stressful class in class.
