Nowadays, environmental pollution is a hot issue, causing huge waves in public. There are a lot of scientific studies on this issue. Do you know that the cause of pollution originates from the tasks seeming small in our daily lives such as littering, deforestation, or the direct discharge of smoke from vehicles, factory into the environment without treatment. However, if these actions are repeated many times, gradually, the amount of pollution is increasing and has the opposite impact on our lives. The manifestation of environmental pollution is an increase in the carbon footprint in the air, soil and water, which is a gas that does not sustain life. Environmental pollution is also a direct cause of global warming, leading to a series of phenomena, such as the greenhouse effect, ice caps melting, natural disasters such as droughts, floods, volcanic eruption and so on. Environmental pollution has made negative effects on the life of every living things on Earth. Nearly all of our achievements in the fields of industrial progress, science and technology have been realized at the cost of our health so far. Even our flora and fauna have been found to be at risk of extinction.

All this really makes us wondering whether all our gains and industrial civilization really enable us to climb the peaks of prosperity or simply bring us down the blind alleys of adversity. Many programs against environmental pollution are strenuously implemented against the indiscriminate violations committed daily in the name of development.

The environmental pollution is not only caused by the emission from nuclear tests or industries. The smoke from the automobiles and other vehicles, the increasing use of synthe detergents, nitrogen insecides and fertilizers contaminate both air and water.

The water we use to drink the vegetables are all contaminated. As a result, our world is suffering from a number of incurable diseases.

Nothing in this world is immune, no life is safe and the prospect of this world is bleak.

The factories are mostly built in residential areas and the smoke-emitting vehicles ply through the congestion areas. Besides causing immense disturbances, it also leads to increasing number of case of pulmonary thrombosis and tuberculosis and various sorts of brain and heart complications.

Air-pollution may cause severe lung diseases, brain-disorder diseases, asthma etc.

Soil-pollution may negatively affect farm output ratio. It can also contaminate the ground    water.

Noise-pollution have negative effects on hearing ability. It can also cause deafness, tiredness, and mental losses.

The heat generated by industries and vehicles causes thermal pollution by raising the environmental temperature of the nearby areas.

The birth of mills and factories is the result of the growth of industry in this machine-predominated period. As long as they will be there, they must emit smoke, pollute the air and hasten our end by slow-poisoning.

- Use compact fluorescent light bulbs: it may be  more expensive, but it can be used  longer, the more money you can save , the more money paid on  the electric bill is reduced.

- Rainwater: we can use it for many different purposes.

- Walk or cycle: the car or motorbike is the biggest cause of pollution. we should decrease the amount of usage as much as possible

- Donate: You have tons of clothes or things you want to get rid of. If they are still usable, give them to someone who needs them..  Not only will you protect the environment, but you will also contribute to a good purpose. If  you want to throw away somewhere, you will  destroy that land.

- Turn off your devices

- Paper or plas? Better yet, take a canvas bag to the grocery and re-use it each time you shop.

- Plant a tree. Trees absorb carbon dioxide – a greenhouse gas

- Làm quà tặng : Khi bạn có quần áo hoặc vật gì đó muốn bỏ đi, nếu còn sử dụng được hãy mang đến cho những người cần nó. Bạn không chỉ bảo vệ được môi trường mà còn làm một việc có ích. Còn khi bạn quẳng nó đi, bạn sẽ làm ô nhiễm mảnh đất đó.

I was born and grown up on the poor land in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province. That’s where deeply attaches to me 24 years of life. If anyone who asks me that “What’s the thing your most proud of?” .I will answer that’s my hometown. Duc Tho is the land poor where the people live by rice cultivation, breeding, and fishing. Although the life is very difficult, but the people is very friendly, and studious. In Duc Tho, there is a Tung Anh village where called “Doctor village”. Duc Tho is also the home of Tran Phu Secretary General, and marked many memories of the great leader Ho Chi Minh.

If you come to Duc Tho, you will feel many interesting things, visiting Tran Phu tombstone, La Giang dyke, rowing on La driver, and enjoying the traditional songs. In the evening, they can enjoy a special food which is “mussel rice” – just only eat one time, you will never forget.

Beautiful and unobtrusive! Duc Tho always tries to grow, and to improve the life of people, but keeping the traditional culture.

I was born and raised in Minh Duc, Tu Ky, Hai Duong. Here is the place where I love the best. It is a peaceful place. The air is fresh. The space is quiet. Hanoi is a dreamy city has been infatuated human heart. Besides the noise and busyness, that is the poe and peaceful beauty. From long time ago, Hanoi was famous for thirty-six streets… Each street is a village, has unique characteriss unique. In general, people here are very elegant, open-minded and friendly. They are very willing to give directions to tourists and even invite them home. Besides, they are also very hardworking people, always try their best in life. Most of their time they spend on working and raising their children. Coming to Hanoi, we can not ignore the tourist attractions such as Bat Trang pottery village, the Temple of Literature, President Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, one pillar pagoda, ... They are associated with the existence and development of Hanoi, also Vietnam. Here, we will be attracted by the special dishes such as Vong Rice, Trang Tien ice cream, Ho Tay shrimp cake ... They are very delicious and are special characteris of Hanoi, not similar to anywhere. For me, Hanoi is a beautiful and poe city. Hope that one day, I will meet the dream of a travel to Bat Trang pottery.

I live in Vinh Long city, and my hometown is very beautiful. It is located in Vinh

Long province, a small area in the South West of Vietnam. Vinh Long has a

combination of rural and urban values which include landscapes and modern

structures. It is very easy to get to my hometown. All we have to do is follow the

national main road, and then cross one of the biggest bridges of the West – My

Thuan bridge to step into Vinh Long area. The uptown region is full of grass fields,

ponds and cattle. There are not many houses there, and the atmosphere is still fresh

and free from the exhaust fumes from traffic or factories. If we go further, we will

get to the center of the city. It is not a very big and modern city, but it has enough

facilities for citizens. Vinh Long is famous for tourism, and tourists love spend a

day on the boat that goes along the rivers and floating markets. There is nothing

much about my hometown, but I suppose that it is the best place for me to live

In Vietnam, the most recently representative event is the mass death of fish from Ha Tinh province to Quang Tri province, causing huge damage to the government till hundreds of billion Dong, affecting the lives of inhabitants here. Not only Vietnam, some other countries in the region and in the world also suffer from severe environmental pollution. For example, in Beijing, China, the amount of air pollution is in excess of the permitted level, most of people here have to live with respiratory diseases. To overcome this current issue, the governments of many governments have the different measures to minimize the amount of pollution emitted to the environment. Many activities have been encouraged such as recycling, reusing, reforestation, waste collection, using alternative energy and so on. There have been a number of global campaigns to raise awareness of citizens like the Earth Hour with slogans, posters such as 'Protect our Earth', 'Green Environment', etc. In Vietnam, the government has also passed many laws fining heavily the organizations and individuals. Step by step, we are trying our best to protect the environment, turning the Earth into a wonderful place to live. Hope that in the future, the environmental pollution will no longer be a concern.

Nhiều hoạt động được khuyến khích như tái chế, tái sử dụng, tái trồng rừng, thu gom rác thải, sử dụng năng lượng thay thế,...Đã có rất nhiều những chiến dịch mang tính chất toàn cầu nhằm nâng cao nhận thức của công dân như sự kiện Giờ Trái Đất với các tấm khẩu hiệu, áp phích như ‘Bảo vệ Trái Đất’, ‘Môi trường xanh’,... Ở Việt Nam, chính phủ cũng thông qua nhiều chế tài xử phạt nặng các doanh nghiệp, cá nhân có hành động phá hoại môi trường như săn bắn bất hợp pháp, vứt rác bừa bãi, phá rừng... Từng bước, chúng ta đang cố gắng hết sức bảo vệ môi trường trong lành, biến Trái đất thành một nơi tuyệt vời để sống. Hi vọng rằng trong tương lai gần, ô nhiễm môi trường sẽ không còn là vấn đề đáng lo ngại nữa.

The toxic chemicals will change the color of water, increase the amount of minerals, change the temperature of water. The sewage and waste water that is produced by each household is chemically treated and released into sea with fresh water. The sewage water carries harmful bacteria and chemicals that can cause serious health problems. Pesticides and herbicides are used by farmers to protect crops from insects and weeds. They are useful for the plants growth. However, when these chemicals are mixed up with water produce harmful for plants and animals. Also, when it rains, the chemicals mixes up with rainwater and flow down into rivers and canals which pose serious damages for aquatic animals. -
Effects of Water Pollution The effects of water pollution are varied and depend on what chemicals are dumped and in which locations. The main problem caused by water pollution is that it kills life that depends on these water bodies. Dead fish, crabs, birds and sea gulls, dolphins, and many other animals often wind up on beaches, killed by pollutants in their habitat (living environment). Humans are affected by this process as well. People can get diseases such as hepatitis by eating seafood that has been poisoned. In many poor nations, there is always outbreak of cholera and diseases as a result of poor drinking water treatment from contaminated waters. Ecosystems (the interaction of living things in a place, depending on each other for life) can be severely changed or destroyed by water pollution. Many areas are now being affected by careless human pollution, and this pollution is coming back to hurt humans in many ways.

I was born and raised in Minh Duc, Tu Ky, Hai Duong. Here is the place where I love the best. It is a peaceful place. The air is fresh. The space is quiet. We can enjoy healthy natural conditions without worrying much about environmental pollution. As for social security, my village is a safer place than a city. Morever, people here are friendly and ready to help each other. Most of them live on agriculture and breeding cattle as well as poultry. So the food there are always fresh and tasty. Although I go anywhere, I still think of my village, Minh Duc.

There are so many vehicles on the streets and alleys, from buses, cars, to motorbikes, bicycles. The city has the most motorbikes in this country.Moreover, the streets are very narrow and bad. They are easily flooded when it rains so heavily. The streets and alleys become bumpy after the rain.Many traffic users don’t obey the traffic rules. They usually drive and ride very dangerously.As a result, there are traffic accidents every dav in this city

I love to live in my city. My city is the capital of my state. The city is neither big nor small. It is just the right size that I . My city has some big and small malls and many parks. When I walk down the street, I see many restaurants, local shops, and franchises. There are many colleges and universities close to my house. Other people usually have to go to a different state or country for undergraduate and graduate education, but I can do it all within driving distance. There are not a lot of crimes happen in my city. The police are always patrolling and keeping the city safe. Other cities might be bigger and better for tourists, but my city is the best for having a family life.
