Hi, Nick. Last week, I had a summer vacation in Da Lat with my family. We stayed in the weird hotel. That hotel looks like a shoe of the giant. I have never seen a hotel like it. It's in the corner of the city. It isn't a famous hotel so it doesn't cost too much. There are three single rooms and one double room. All of things in that hotel was made from wood. The bed makes me scared because it looks like a real tiger. Very special, isn't it?

In Da Lat city, Lam Dong, there is a house very famous for its unique and peculiar architecture. The house was originally named "Hang Nga mansion" but later it was renamed "Crazy House". Its owner is the female architect Dang Viet Nga.
Inspired by the poe and natural environment around Dalat City as well as from Gaudi's works, architect Dang Viet Nga designed the "Crazy House" located at 3 Huynh Thuc Khang Street.
Right from entering the premises of the house, one feels going into a forest in a fairy tale: the intertwined, green vines surrounding the shaggy old trees 2 people hugged incessantly. Around the house are animals, huge mushrooms - all cast in concrete. Outdoors, the webs were made of steel wires hanging from above and looked real. The house has rugged, rugged architecture with black, yellow and brown concrete plates with bizarre shapes creating a mysterious feeling.
Step up the zigzag stairs around the tree will come to the small room quite fully furnished. The rooms are located in niches caves and named after the animals: bear rooms, tiger rooms, eagle rooms, kangaroo rooms ... The rooms are very special, not repeated. again, the architecture and design and interior are bizarre, short, carved to fit the curved walls. From the ceiling to the doors and the roof, the corridors leading to the rooms are designed according to the owner's inspiration.
Crazy House currently has 10 rooms for visitors to stay. Room rates here are not cheap. The house is considered one of the tourist attractions of Da Lat and is mentioned in many travel handbooks. Many foreign magazines also praised the special architecture of the house. Rediff Business voted Hang Nga villa into the top 20 most unique houses. And China's People’s Daily voted one of the weirdest houses in the world. Most recently, Britain's Dailymail praised the architecture of this mansion.
"Hang Nga mansion" (named after architect Dang Viet Nga) was built in 1990 on a land of nearly 2,000 m2. The designs of architect Dang Viet Nga are made by local craftsmen. Up to now, this project is still being completed and expanded.

Xung quanh nhà là muông thú, những cây nấm khổng lồ - tất cả được đúc bằng bê tông. Ngoài trời, những mảng mạng nhện được kết từ dây thép chăng nhằng nhịt từ trên cao thả xuống trông như thật. Ngôi nhà có các mảng kiến trúc gồ ghề, lồi lõm với các mảng bê tông đen, vàng, nâu với những hình thù kỳ quái tạo nên một cảm giác kì bí. 

Bước lên những bậc thang ngoằn ngoèo quấn quanh gốc cây sẽ tới những căn phòng nhỏ khá đầy đủ tiện nghi. Những căn phòng được đặt trong những hốc như những hang động và được đặt tên theo tên của các loài thú: phòng con gấu, phòng con hổ, phòng đại bàng, phòng kangaroo... Các căn phòng đều rất đặc biệt, không lặp lại về kiến trúc và thiết kế và nội thất đều kỳ lạ, thấp bé, được tạc đẽo cho hợp với những vách tường cong. Cửa sổ trong phòng có hình thù cũng khá đặc biệt, cái thì lồi, cái lõm. Từ trần đến cửa và mái, hành lang dẫn đến các phòng đều được thiết kế theo cảm hứng của chủ nhân.

Crazy House hiện có 10 phòng để cho du khách lưu trú. Giá phòng ở đây cũng không hề rẻ. Ngôi nhà được coi là một trong những điểm hút khách du lịch của Đà Lạt và được nhắc đến trong nhiều sách cẩm nang du lịch. Nhiều tạp chí nước ngoài cũng ca ngợi kiến trúc đặc biệt của ngôi nhà. Rediff Business bình chọn biệt thự Hằng Nga vào top 20 ngôi nhà độc đáo nhất. Còn People’s Daily của Trung Quốc bình chọn là một trong những ngôi nhà kỳ dị nhất thế giới. Mới đây nhất, Dailymail của Anh có bài khen ngợi kiến trúc của ngôi biệt thự này.

“Biệt thự Hằng Nga” (lấy theo tên của kiến trúc sư Đặng Việt Nga) bắt đầu được xây từ năm 1990 trên một mảnh đất rộng gần 2.000 m2. Những mẫu thiết kế của kiến trúc sư Đặng Việt Nga đều do những thợ thủ công địa phương thực hiện. Đến nay, công trình này vẫn đang tiếp tục được hoàn thiện và mở rộng.

When finding somewhere to escape from the hustle and bustle of life, my bedroom is always an ideal place. My bedroom is on the second floor. It is not exactly a large room but it is spacious enough to become my private world. It is a fully-furnished room with a single bed on the left and a wardrobe on the right corner. And there stands a wood table with a shelf that contains many interesting books and is decorated with lots of souvenirs and birthday gifts on the left corner. With two small windows on the two sides of the room, I use bright color tone for the wall to make my bedroom airier and warmer. My childhood memories is coupled with every corner of the room. In my deep thoughts, it is not only a place where greets me after strained long hours at work, brings me sweet dreams but also a friend that witnesses maturity in every step of my daily life. My bedroom- a small room but unintentionally becomes a vital piece in my whole life.

After stress and pressure in life, one always has a place to come back called home. I love decorating my own bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor near my parents’ bedroom. There is a double bed for my younger sister and me. I usually lie above her so that it is easier for me to study late at night without annoying her. The room has a big wood wardrobe, which contains all of our clothes such as: dress, jean, t-shirt and sock. Beside, my mother bought us a dressing table on my 15^th birthday; therefore, I put all the makeup-stuff and bandeau here. In the corner stand a large bookshelf in order to store books, academic document as well as family passe-partout. Next to it is a table with a desktop so as to help us investigate more knowledge on the internet. My sister and I really enjoy decorating the room with sker such as: mickey, boo bear, hello kitty, angry bird and so on. Beside, we also sk glow-in-the-dark tape on the ceiling and it turn out to light when darkness comes. Moreover, the room is designed with pink and deep blue so it brings us cozy and fresh feeling when putting step into it. The bathroom is in my room too. It is quite small but always clean and restful as we tidy it up every week. My father suggests having a bathtub; however, we don’t agree since we enjoy having a shower instead of lying in tub. Bedroom is a resting place after a hard studying day; hence we always clean it up so that it is neat and comfortable.

My room is medium-sized (big enough to fit two single-beds), with laminated flooring. I love sky/baby blue, so I had the walls painted in that colour. The colour-scheme is primarily blue and white. 

I have a lot of storage, which is good, because I have just too much stuff (which I want to get rid of). I must be a pack rat, lol. There's a small built-in cupboard, where I keep my magazines, books (mainly romance genre, yet to be read, lol), shoes, and a few cleaning and laundry products. Recently, I've bought a couple of new furniture: three-door pine wardrobe (with a mirror on the middle door), and matching (and uniquely designed) chest of drawers. On the chest, is my radio, a lamp, a few cosmetics, small jewellery box, keepsakes/decorative items and a couple of pictures. A keyboard (which I cannot play.... yet) is on top of the wardrobe, along with a fibre optic lamp, which I love but barely use. 

My bed has two big drawers built-in, where I store my remaining clothes and bedding. Two teddies happily sit on the wicket laundry basket (I am obsessed with cute things), which is at the end of the bed, which is somewhat close to my small transparent bin. 

A few picture frames on the walls - a cute motivational poster with cute kids sharing a small kiss, two cute tiger cubs, a newspaper clip of me holding up a certificate (Yay, I was in the newspaper! I love poetry.), and finally a cat calendar (I love cats too). There's also a cute silver clock, and a beautiful light blue lamp shade that everyone admires. And a small foldable blue chair. 

Oh, and not forgetting the PC, printer, chair and desk! (Hardcore internet addict, lol) 

Sounds crowded, doesn't it? In fact, many people have commented that it is very neat and organised, though I have my stressful, messy days. I would say I'm in the average category when it comes to neatness. But I find I'm never completely organised/clutter-free. :-/
