My favourite hobby is reading. I enjoy reading a book when I am free. I
started to do it when I was four years old. The first time I did it, I felt interested. So I
kept reading. The teachers always taught me to read the difficult words. I was happy
when I read a story with a happy ending. I was thrilled when I read a detective story.
I enjoy reading because I like to explore the imaginative world of my
favourite author, J.K.Rowling who writes “ Harry Potter” . There are a lot of
advantages of reading. Reading can make me relaxed and calm. I can also learn new
vocabulary items. Then I can further improve my English. Moreover, it can give me
an unlimited imagination, so I can write books in the future. I can learn the different
cultures and customs of other countries in the world too.
I read at least one hour every day. I read books by myself. I usually read it
at home. I wish I could read different kinds of books because it might be very
challenging.

I read news, story books and novels and especially have passion for discovery books. Reading is an incredibly inexpensive hobby that provides so many benefits. Book help me widen my knowledge of the world. When I am sad or disheartened, I often mix myself with book. I realize that the life has many meanful things than i thought and i need to try my best for my bright future. Book also bring me more motivation and joy of life. All of parents want to give their children a quality education. I think the best method is let them read book, regardless of any kind of books, as long as those book are wholesome books. I have no intention of of this useful hobby. In future, I want to read and more book.

I have many hobbies, but I like reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabulary by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods of time. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tells me about the world’s history, let me see the structure of the human body, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes or Einstein, .v..v. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activities.
I have a number of things I like to do in my free time. They are my hobbies. I am sure other people have their hobbies too.
The hobby I like most is playing my guitar. The guitar was given to me by my mother for my tenth birthday. My uncle, who is an accomplished guitarist taught me how to play it. Now I can play a few simple tunes. I have even begun to sing while playing the guitar but I have not been too successful at this. My uncle tells me that all I need is a lot of practice and I should be able to do it. He is very good accompanying himself and I admire him very much.
Another hobby that I spend time on is keeping tropical fishes. I have a modest little glass aquarium where I keep a variety of little fishes. Some of them were bought from the shop while some of them were caught from the streams near where I live. They look so beautiful swimming about in the aquarium and I love to just watch them. It is very relaxing to do so. Even my uncle loves watching them.
However they do die and it is not very pleasant to have to remove the dead ones. Also it is quite a tedious job cleaning the aquarium. I have to do this whenever it gets dirty which is about once in two months.
I keep stamps too. However I would not call myself an avid stamp collector. Actually I just take the stamps from discarded envelopes that my relatives and friends give me. Mostly I get local stamps. Once in a while I get stamps from places like Sweden, Australia, Saudi Arabia and others. I keep the less common ones inside a small album The common ones I usually give away to others or if no one wants them I simply throw them away.
There are other hobbies that I indulge in once in a while but they are not as interesting as the one I have mentioned. Those mentioned really keep me occupied and I am glad I am able to do them.

When I have free time, I usually listen to music. Except school time, music lives with me for almost the rest of the day. I listen to it when I am on the bus when I do the house chores, or even when I am taking a shower, and whenever I feel like I need it. Music is always a new thing because it changes each day. Some of my favourite types are Pop, Country, Ballad, and Dance. Each of them gives me a different feeling, so I choose the songs to listen to according to my current mood. I listen to Pop songs when I am comfortable and happy, Country and Ballad is for relaxing, and Dance is for when I want to move my body. Sometimes when I go outside, I just put my playlist on shuffle mode, and it is very interesting not to know about the upcoming song. I do have some of my favourite singers, and I usually download their whole album to my phone. Music helps me to relax, cheer up my mood, and ease my nerves after a long exhausting day. Since it does not take too much of my time, effort and money, I will feel free to consider it as my favourite activity of all time.

Hobby is one of the most important things we should have in our life. Of all hobbies in the world, I like listening to music the most. I enjoy music and I listen to it every single day. I started this hobby when I was 8. There are various kind kinds of music such as Pop, Folk music, Hip hop, ... for you us to choose and enjoy. If Whenever I'm in good a good mood, I prefer to listen to some rock music that keep keeps me happy and full of energy energetic. If I'm sad or tired, I choose some calm, relaxing therapeutic songs. Music can speak, because/ ; through music, people can express feelings and emotions. Each songs has it own message. My favourite songs is "A thousand years" written by Christina Perri. It's from "Twilight" - a famous movie about the relationship between a human teenager and a vampire. There are also a lot of band bands in the US, UK, Japan, Korea, ... such as One Direction, Fifth Harmony, Westlife, ... and a lot of singers. They wrote their songs through based on their experience and by their heart even from the bottom of their heart. Most of the time, I love listening to music to relax my body mind. Music can make the world smaller. Without music, life would be a mistake (??)
