All of the special holidays in my country, I like Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods ...

Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Tet holiday is celebrating on the fist day of the Lunar New Year.Some weeks before New Year , the Vietnamese clean their houses and repaint the walls.They also buy new clothes.One or two days before the festival,people make banh chung- the traditional cakes,and other goodies. On the New Ther'Eve, whole family for reguin dinner.Every members of the family should be present during the dinner.On the New Year Moring,the young members of family pay their respect to the elders. IN return they receive lucky money wrapped in red tiny evenlopes. Then people go to visit their neighbors,some friends and relatives.

Tôi thường đi đến Quảng trường Thời đại với ba mẹ để chào đón năm mới. Khi đồng hồ điểm nửa đêm, pháo hoa đầy màu sắc chiếu sáng bầu trời. Mọi người xung quanh vui mừng và hát hò vui vẻ. Mình yêu thời điểm đó lắm.

Tôi yêu những ngày đầu năm mới nhất. Sau khi dậy sớm, chúng tôi mặc quần áo đẹp và đi đến phòng khách. Ớ đó ông bà chúng tôi ngồi trên ghế sô pha. Chúng tôi cúi đầu và nói điều ước của chúng tôi với ông bà. Ông bà sẽ cho chúng tôi tiền 11 xì trong phong bì màu đỏ. Sau đó, chúng tôi đi chơi và có một ngày vui trọn vẹn với dồ ăn ngon và đầy tiếng cười.

Mình đã biết vài tín ngưỡng trong ngày Tết từ ba mẹ mình. Tết đến, người ta tặng gạo để chúc và cầu cho thức ăn đầy đủ, tặng trái cây đỏ để chúc có niềm vui. Chó là con vật may mắn. Tiếng chó sủa như “vàng”. Nhưng không nên tặng mèo bởi vì tiếng kêu của nó giông như từ chỉ sự nghèo khổ trong tiếng Việt. Đừng ăn tôm. Chúng bơi lùi và bạn sẽ không thành công trong năm

Tet holiday is the special days in Vietnam. It's time to each family remember their ancestors.

Before Tet comes, my family as well as others, we always do house works to welcome a new year appears. Besides, Chung or Tet is the traditional cake of Vietnam. Chung presents for the North, and Tet features for the South and the middle. We stay overnight to cook cake and talk about a previous year, review the memorable moments before that. This time is so special. At 00h o'clock, everybody countdown to say happy new year. My morther usually worship to invite ancestor come home. eveybody call eachother to wish a year with happy, success, health.

after, we go to the others family or ralative relationship to visit eveyone in Tet holiday. we take the blossom or cherry flower to decorate our house to sake up luck.

Before Lunar New Year, my family turned on. Heroes polished and cleaned the altar. The parents clean the house. Each one job, which does not unmounted and fun cushing. After the kitchen finishes the bread, mother and baby are prepared for the champion. On New Year, who wears new clothes, my whole family goes to New Year to relatives, grandparents. Tet is a holiday for everyone. I love this day because in this day I mustn't go to school. I will at home, do many traditional activities. Of course, I will make banh chung or banh tet. What a wonderful activity! I can also get lucky money and get presents from my family. Althrough this is a holiday but you shouldn't play cards all night or all day. I LOVE TET HOLIDAY.
