I and the students of this world are also actively learning a second language in this growing society. And you too, you are just like us for yourself and for the future. Only by understanding and knowing the many languages of the world can we not be left behind. So we all are working hard to learn the international language - English.
It is the second most learned language and the official language of nearly 60 sovereign countries. This language has a larger number of second language and foreign language speakers than native speakers. English is the most common language in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Republic of Ireland and New Zealand, and is widely spoken in some regions in the Caribbean, Africa and South Asia. It is the official co-language of the United Nations, of the European Union and of many other regional and international organizations. It is the most popular Germanic language, accounting for at least 70% of its speakers.
So English has become our second language.
Currently, I am learning 2 languages, which are English and Vietnamese. My mother tongue is Vietnamese, and that is also my first language. And my second language is English. I have pursued this language very early, from 2 years old until now. At that time I was too young, so I learned English through English children's programs on TV. When I was in grade 1, I was taught more about English by the teachers, and I felt even more excited. And until now, I continue to learn English. I learned a lot, and I also discovered its benefits. It helps train your brain, helps develop discipline, reinforces gratitude and understanding with your mother tongue, increases your logical and cognitive abilities, increases confidence, increases career prospects. And moreover, we know a new language, which means we will make new friends. I know here, besides me, still many of you consider English as your second language, let's learn English together.
