Tran Hieu Ngan is a Taekwondo athlete. She participated in the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics where she won the silver medal. It was the only medal won by a Vietnamese during those Olympic games and the first of Vietnam’s four Olympic medals. Tran Hieu Ngan was born 1974 in a small fishing town in Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen.
